A hooded troll leans over a sparsely decorated booth. You can't quite tell if he's bored or unhappy as you approach, but you can tell one thing for certain.

This kid likes tea.

"Evening, welcome to Tea Time." He says, gruffly. "Don't touch anything unless you're willing to play. I don't want anyone breaking my good mugs."

The Lusus to your side gives you a once over and purrs loudly, catching the troll's attention.

"You can pet him for free. Just not too much." He offers. "The last trolls who spent too long petting him ended up being dragged back home and sat on."

Booth Opens: May 7th, even if Lavender Hues isn't here to post an "OPEN" sign.
Booth Closes: May 16th at Midnight EST (Which is 11 PM CST, 10 PM MST, 9 PM PST on May 15th), even if Lavender Hues isn't here to post a "CLOSED" sign.

>>> The game is over, but feel free to hang around and talk to Rastin if you'd like!
PostPosted: Tue Apr 26, 2016 5:27 pm

"What do you want? The game's over! Go home!"

"SHUT UP, IT'S TEA TIME!"

> Alright, how do I do this?:

1. Roll 4D4 each day for however many trolls you own that want to participate. Make sure to clearly state who you're rolling for each day in your post so Rastin knows their name!
2. Take the numbers you roll and look at the table below. Each number corresponds to an outcome in each category, as well as a point value that either adds or subtracts from your Troll's daily score.
3. Earning any point value above 0 wins you a prize from the prize table, but only the three highest scores per day will win tickets. If there are multiple people who haven't scored anything and I have tickets left over, I will RNG winners.
4. I will have Rastin judge each and every post made per day, even if it's only a few lines. This will be done in however fashion I see fit, but it isn't imperative to the game itself. That is, if Rastin hasn't quoted you with a personal reaction and the day rolls over, you can still do your daily rolls. UPDATE 5/11: PLEASE QUOTE ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE RASTIN TO JUDGE YOUR TEA FROM NOW ON. THIS IS MY FIRST BLOODFEST SO I KINDA BIT OFF MORE THAN I CAN CHEW. I LOVE YOU ALL FOR COMING THOUGH, SO PLEASE KEEP COMING! ; W;

> Where's the table?:

Temperature

1. Too hot (-1)
2. Perfect (+2)
3. Warm (+1)
4. Cold (-1)

Tea flavor

1. Smoky (+2)
2. Sweet (+1)
3. This isn't tea... ( -3)
4. Satisfying (+1)

Delivery (How well your troll carries the tea over to be judged)

1. Minor spilling (-1)
2. You broke something or tripped (-2)
3. Without incident (+1)
4. Well mannered (+2)

Decorations/Additional

1. Biscuit on the side (+2)
2. Tea cup is sticky (-1)
3. Floral accent (+1)
4. No decorations (+0)

> Example of gameplay?:

Player 1 is posting for Troll 1.

They roll 4D4 which gives them the numbers 2, 4, 1, 1. The results for that roll are -

Perfect (+2), Satisfying (+1), Minor Spilling (-1), and Biscuit on the side (+2)

By adding the point values above, Player 1 has earned a daily total of 4 points.

Because they earned a point value above 0, they can pick any prize for Troll 1 from the table below, but they need to wait until the day rolls over to find out if they're one of the three players that has won a ticket.

> FAQ?:

Q: How do we win a ticket?

A: By being one of the players who has the highest points above 0 per day. If there are only one or two people who go above 0 on any given day, I will compile a list of people who are 0 and under and RNG winners from that. (The same goes for if no one gets out of the negatives on any given day. I'll just throw a list of people who posted that day together and RNG)

Q: Okay, but how do we win prizes?

A: Get any point value above 0. Seriously, any. It can be 1, 2, 3, 4...etc. Just as long as your score isn't 0 or in the negatives, you can take a prize.

Q: Can we win multiple prizes?

A: YES. You can win an unlimited amount of prizes per troll as long as you get the points required.

Q: What do I do if I forget to roll or mess up the dice?

A: DON'T DELETE YOUR POST. Just make a note that you messed up and then post again. I get confused easily and it'll help knowing that people aren't deleting posts.

Q: When does the day reset?

A: MIDNIGHT EST. Which is 11 PM CST, 10 PM MST, and 9 PM PST. If you live outside of the US, THIS TIME ZONE CONVERTER SHOULD HELP.

Q: Do we need to wait for you to post reset in order to roll for the day?

A: Absolutely not. You also don't need to wait for Rastin to react to your rolls per day, either.

Q: What if you haven't posted or rolled for who won tickets for a day yet? Should we wait then?

A: NO. I'll be keeping track of everything by post dates, so I'll know who to include in the RNG (if any) or not based on that alone. You can roll for the day as long as it's after midnight EST regardless if I've posted for daily tickets or not.

Q: HI, it's the end of Bloodfest and I didn't manage to earn enough points to win a prize from your booth for the entire event! ; n;

A: FIRST, make sure this is absolutely the case for each troll you've rolled for. If so, YOU MAY TAKE ONE PRIZE FOR ONE OF YOUR TROLLS. I want everyone who has taken the time to participate in this booth to go home with at least one thing, so if you haven't won a prize from my booth for the duration of Bloodfest, go ahead and take one thing. ; w; (BUT, only if you've participated! If you haven't posted at all in my booth and I see you've taken something, I will be VERY cross with you. > 3>)

NEW!!!Q: Hey, I got skipped over during rolls! What gives?

A: You probably didn't fill in your post before rollover! D8 I will not include people who don't fill in their posts with some kind of rp in ticket raffles! Sorry!

"JUST TAKE THIS AND GO!"

Tea Bags:

User ImageUser ImageUser Image

Rastin doesn't remember which flavors of tea he pulled out for the event. They're either chamomile/Earl Grey, sugarplum/mixed berry, or matcha/spearmint. It's probably best that you prepare for either.

Teacups:

User ImageUser ImageUser Image

These teacups were pulled from the back of Rastin's cabinets and have been cleaned of all lingering dust and bugs. He hopes you can put them to good use!

Saucers:

After digging around in his storage chests, Rastin managed to find matching saucers for the teacup prizes. It seems there is an upside to being a pack-rat.

Psykgi Mentha

Now, Psykgi really appreciated tea. It was tasty and earthy and warm. It wasn't her favorite thing, and couldn't hold a candle to warmed cider, but it was still good. So, when she found a tea stall, she had to sample. Maybe she would tell Eridia about this place - what a thought.

"Hello!" she said cheerily, before suddenly recognizing the troll behind the booth. "Oh gosh! Hello! It's you!" The troll from the horrible mud ordeal! "Gosh, did you know, I'm really into tea... well," she sat down to the mixing table, "Not really into-into, but I enjoy it! Gosh, theres some great tea houses in Civisect... Anyway..."

She frowned thoughtfully. "Lets see..." She put the tea together and carried it carefully to the table... too carefully. She could already tell that it wasn't warm any more, but whatever. It was there, and it was okay...

Sephos Arbola

Sephos resisted going to the next booth... until he saw who it was. "Oh! Hey Rastin." he said. He was honestly surprised to see him there. "Whats this?" Apparently, it was a tea judging booth... huh! How interesting.

Maku wanted him to give it a try. "Okay." said Sephos.

He made a scalding cup of tea, which burned his hand as he carried it. "AHH, s**t!" he cursed, as he dropped the plate, breaking it. In the end it was good tea, but...

"s**t..." Sephos stared at the remains of the plate, "I'm sorry."

JUDGEMENT: DAY 1

DraconicFeline
Psykgi has won a prize for getting a point value above 0! She may take anything she likes from the prize post, except for a ticket!

> Judgement: Day 1; Psykgi Mentha

Rastin raised his head and paid Psykgi a nod. He recognized her from the harvest festival, albeit vaguely. There was a subtle smile toward her talk of tea but, otherwise, he was silent while she worked on her tea and brought it over. The purpleblood could already tell by the absence of steam wafting from the cup that the tea was cold, but wouldn't refuse it based on that alone.

"Mmm, cold, but satisfying." He nodded, lowering the cup after a sip. "I can't give you anything for decoration, but I will commend you for your carefulness. You may take a prize from the table over there."

> Judgement: Day 1; Sephos Arbola

Rastin wasn't sure why he was surprised to see Sephos approach the booth, but he was pleasantly surprised none the less. It was kind of funny that the first two trolls to visit the booth had been ones he'd met previously, though. Hopefully that wasn't going to be a trend...

"ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" He shouted, leaning forward as Sephos cursed. That tea looked like it had been boiling, and he really didn't want to have to pay for anyone's medical expenses if they burned themselves! However, the sight of the broken plate had him cringing even more. Damn, and it was one of the good ones, too!

"... It's alright." He said, after a quick breath in. "Just clean it up and toss it away. You can try again later."

Tea, huh? Fletch wasn't a huge fan of the drink, more into the traditional juggalo beverage of faygo, but it might be cool to try and make some. Heading for the kettle, he flicked the switch and waited for the water to cool slightly before pouring it on the bag of what he assumed was tea. But when the smell wafted out of the cup his nose wrinkled. Eugh. That smelled really bitter and gross. Was there any sugar around? Hmm, actually..digging in his satchel, and checking nobody was looking, Fletch poured a tiny bit of Faygo into the tea. There. Now it would definitely taste better!!! It smelled a lot sweeter anyway, and Faygo was awesome all the time. Yeah, perfect.

Grinning down at the cup, Fletch placed it on a plate and began taking it over, only to stumble a little halfway. Thankfully none of the drink was spilled, though it did slosh around the cup wildly. With a beaming, toothy grin, Fletch placed the cup in front of the storeholder.

Natash thought making tea sounded like it could be a lot of fun! She didn't usually make it herself, but she liked the way it tasted. And how hard could it be to make?

... Apparently pretty hard! First, she boiled the drink way too hot! And whatever the drink was, it certainly wasn't tea. Maybe like, random leaves off the ground? Gnash wasn't sure but it sorta looked like tea at first. Bringing the tea over to be judged, she broke the saucer in her hard metal fists, leaving little pieces of porcelain everywhere. But at least she added a biscuit on the side. Yummy.

The seadweller awaited praise with a grin.

JUDGEMENT: DAY 1

TanuKyle

> Judgement: Day 1; Fletch Queric

Rastin watched his third participant with a mildly concerned expression. What in the world were they wearing on their face? Was there a face-painting booth somewhere nearby that he hadn't seen yet? Either way, he couldn't help but find their choice in color a little... Unsettling.

The level of his concern spiked as the troll stumbled, but instead of recoiling from the sound of a shattering plate, he found himself shrinking at the sight of Fletch's toothy grin. He paused, giving them a quick once over, before taking the cup and raising it to his lips.

"WHAT THE ********> He screeched, sputtering. "This... This is worst thing I've ever tasted! What did you put in this? It tastes like some sort of poison!"

JUDGEMENT: DAY 1

purplerosesbeauty

> Judgement: Day 1; Natash Boelli

Well, after being given a cup more or less laced with some kind of toxic waste, Rastin couldn't help but feel his expectations plummeting. He could be reasonable with little things and breaking plates, but whatever that strange troll had offered him nearly sent him into a conniption. He could only pray that whoever was next could do no worse.

The sight of the broken plate should have been more than enough of a warning sign, but he wanted to give this girl the benefit of the doubt. After all, her arms were very visibly made of purple metal. She couldn't help but break things with those, right? He, carefully, took the cup as it was offered.

"Ow, augh!" He shouted, quickly taking a chomp out of the biscuit to offset the burning, bitter taste in his mouth. "Much too hot, firstly. Secondly, are you sure you used the tea out on the tables? This tastes like garden clippings!"

He paused, licking the burned part of his lips, and winced.

"Thank you for the biscuit, though. You have no idea how much I needed that." He added.

Kolako was honestly bouncing off the walls at the idea of Bloodfest, and curiousity took over her the moment she saw the purpleblooded kid's booth. He looked unhappy! Koko waved at him eagerly, a wide smile on her face as she sniffed the area and giggled at the purring cat to the side. What a cute booth! Now all she needed to figure out was what everything was. Were those boiled leaves?? She inspected it heavily before squinting at the instructions, having never made such a thing before. Interesting! And cool. She didn't do too well, though, but it seemed nice! She managed to bring it over without too much spilling, and while the tea cup was sticky, she was sure he'd like it!! Offering it to him with a bright smile, the kid seemed excited to know his opinion on her first time making tea!!

JUDGEMENT: DAY 1

quite uneventful

> Judgement: Day 1; Kolako Thelsi

Rastin had every right to be unhappy. He'd been served two steaming cups of things that weren't tea and was beginning to lose hope in everything he stood for. This was supposed to be something simple, he'd planned it in such a way, but there seemed to be a huge disconnect that he hadn't expected. Did other trolls just not know how to make tea? Were they that uncivilized? His body felt weak.

The purpleblood raised his weary gaze to Kolako and tried his best to bring the tiniest of smiles to his face. This girl had no idea what he'd just been through, it was unreasonable to think that she'd be just as bad as the others, right? He took a sip, albeit cautiously.

"Ah, this is basically iced tea." He chuckled, before quickly stiffening when he realized he'd laughed. "I mean, it's cold, but clearly well made. It shouldn't have been left out for so long..." He paused, arching a brow as the sleeve of his cloak stuck to the cup. "... And the cup could have been wiped with a cloth before you brought it over. Otherwise, there isn't anything seriously wrong. Just be more vigilant next time."
