Cerpin had never really been a big tea type of troll. He liked Faygo and soda and pretty much anything sugary. It wasn't that he liked sweet things a bunch (he did enjoy them) but just that he loved the rush of energy even if it also came with a crash afterwards. But this was Bloodfest and he ought to be trying new things and meeting new people. Maybe he'd learn something interesting or useful. Like how to brew tea in space, haha.

"Let me try!" The disguised yellowblood grinned and got to work heating the tea. He was a little overzealous but whatever, they could just wait for it to cool if it was a problem, right? Cerpin lacked empathy sometimes. It had a smoky aroma and flavor to it at least!

"Gah, whoops-" He spilled some of the tea during the delivery but thankfully didn't flat out drop the cup. Cerpin took a breath to calm himself before finishing the task and posing as cool as he could while the judge inspected his totally awesome biscuit placement. Yeah, he did that. This guy right here.

Imagine his shock when his efforts totaled up to a zero! Ohhh this was not over. He'd be back again.

Sephos Arbola

Sephos walked over to Rastin's booth. He was slightly grubby from an early evening of plant tending, and was quite ready to try tea (though apparently Rastin was the one drinking it... whatever.)

He set down a carefully arranged package of flowers, wrapped in a ribbon.

User Image

"Hey, I thought you might want some flowers for your stall To uh... to go with the... yeah." He nudged the flowers a little. "... I'm gonna make some tea." he said, after a moment of awkward silence.

This time, the tea brewing went without a hitch. Perfectly brewed tea, with a perfect blend of smoked leaves and spices, a crash-less exit, and a lovely floral cup.

Sephos sipped the other cup of tea, his share of the tea, his eyes closing in pure happiness. "Mmmmm...." he said, a rare smile washing over his face. It was good stuff. He felt refreshed and enervated. Good stuff indeed.

"Hey, Rastin, did you know theres another person with tea? Her name's Panili, and she's got this pretty booth full of flowers... When you take a break from here" because why wouldn't Rastin want to take a break from the festival, "Want to go there with me?"

Psykgi Mentha

Well, Psykgi was ready for some tea... and also to pick up one of the prizes she was pretty sure she'd won.

A Saucer!

"Gosh! Thanks!" she said, beginning a renewed attempt to make a cup of tea. It was perfect - a testing sip told her that the tea was at the exact right temperature, and smoothly sweet. A good flavor to have!

Except, as she brought it over to the purpleblood, she slipped on the crushed body of one of her lusii's roaches (it happened), her foot catching on her skirt and nearly bringing her to the ground. She flailed for a few moments, not really wanting to break the highblood's china because, gosh, that would be rude.

She managed not to break anything, and picked herself up off the ground and, blushing a little in embarassment, she handed it off to Rastin with a laugh. "Oops!" she said, as the roaches scuttered unhappily around her.

Fletch was back, this time with the knowledge that the stallholder did not like faygo in his tea. Waiting till the water had boiled and pouring it on tea leaves, Fletch walked more carefully this time over to Rastin and presenting the cup with another toothy smile. Of course, because he'd walked over so carefully the tea had done an awful lot of cooling down on the way.....

"Don't worry bro, I made sure not to put anything too sweet in this time!"

JUDGEMENT: DAY 2

Yamashii

> Judgement: Day 2; Cerpin Sugall

After taking a long break to explore booths, Rastin felt he was prepared to see what his next group of participants would bring him. He still felt a bit shell shocked from the two cups of not-tea that he'd been given, but with a more refreshed mindset, he didn't see a reason to remain afraid.

"Hm, you haven't done poorly or well." He said, nibbling at the biscuit and nodding. "You're more than welcome to try again, but I'd recommend not filling the cup to the brim next time. It'll help you avoid spilling."

JUDGEMENT: DAY 2

DraconicFeline
Sephos and Psykgi can both take a prize today! 8D

> Judgement: Day 2; Sephos Arbola

Rastin smiled at Sephos, before noticing the gift he'd brought. The purpleblood couldn't help but blush. He'd never been given a gift before! ... Unless this was bribery for a better score. He squinted.

"Thank you, Sephos. You're very thoughtful." He replied, nodding. "Alright, I hope you'll be more careful this time!"

He watched the greenblood from where he sat and fought against a smile as he brought the teacup over. All it took was one sip for Rastin to start smiling.

"This is the best cup I've had so far! Excellent work!" He exclaimed. "Perfect temperature, smoky flavor, decorated well... I have to say I'm impressed."

He nodded fervently at the mentioning of Panili's tea booth.

"I visited earlier, but I would love to go again." He said. "We can go as soon as everyone else after you clears out."

> Judgement: Day 2; Psykgi Mentha

After speaking with Sephos, Rastin turned his attention to Psykgi. He was happy that she'd picked up one of the saucers that he'd brought because he really didn't have room for them anymore. Hopefully more trolls would win prizes so he could have more space in his cabinets at the end of this event.

He winced as she stumbled a while and silently prayed that she wouldn't smash one of his dishes, before sighing in relief as she brought it over. He'd still take points off for not being careful, but at least she hadn't broken something.

"It's very good, but please try to be more careful when carrying it over." He said, offering her a weak smile. "I know you weren't rushing, so maybe you could pin your skirt up a little bit so it doesn't catch on your feet? I do that with my cloak when it gets in the way of what I'm doing."

Fletch can take a prize today! 8D

> Judgement: Day 2; Fletch Queric

Oh no. Rastin's shoulders stiffened. That toothy troll was back, the one who'd given him that awful tea that tasted like poison! He pinned himself back in his chair and tried to calm himself down as he watched Fletch work. He had to look like some kind of caged animal, which was very unprofessional. Maybe they'd do well this time, maybe they wouldn't put something awful in the tea, he just had to hope...

"Oh, alright, well..." He muttered, giving Fletch a cautious look before taking the cup. The sip he took was careful, but the response given was quick.

"Much better, much much better." He sighed, nodding. "You've learned quickly, but still have a way to go. You can take a prize for making quick progress, though."

Sephos Arbola

"Sure." Sephos said. He wasn't sure what else to say. He picked up one of the tea bags Rastin was offering for later. What flavor was it? It didn't matter. It would probably be nice to drink before he went to bed.

User Image

He decided to watch the tea-goers for a little while. If it took too long, he'd meet Rastin there, and keep an eye on his flowers and punkins in the meantime. "If you, uh, want more flowers, let me know. I have a bunch."

A tea booth! Fellah had experimented with growing herbs for teas in the past, but it wasn't quite his forte. None the less he figured he could give it a shot.
Greeting the rather hard to read troll manning the booth, the redblood started to try and assemble his tea.

Rastin nodded to Sephos and waited for his next participant to finish their tea. They were a teenager, someone he'd expect to be a little more reliable and capable. However, as if it were a growing trend, he'd have to lower his expectations again.

"Much too hot!" He exclaimed, setting the biscuit aside for the time being. "Not only that, but you weren't very careful on your delivery. I'll have to deduct points for that too. You're more than welcome to try again, though."

Tea? Malice actually... enjoyed tea. It was good for you. Sometimes she found really good ones in the village around Busthind. And as much as she hated to admit it, she found herself wandering over to the very purple booth. You know. Just to look.

To her annoyance, she found it was more like a serving station for this crusty purpleblood child. She eyed the lusus with narrowed eyes, then looked to the other child. A few moments later, and she approached.

"Your tea." She deadpanned, begrudgingly dropping it on the surface with a clatter. A few drops escaped the contents of the tea cup, spilling on the saucer. There was no frills, no special additions. Just. A cup. Filled with cold, smokey tea. With flared nostrils, she stared at the highblood with expectancy, mentally burning a hole into his face.
