JUDGEMENT: DAY 2> Judgement: Day 2; Caiden Banksy
Rastin looked at Caiden like a deerbeast in headlights. This child, whoever they were, was chatting a mile a minute with such enthusiasm that the purpleblood could barely keep track of what he was saying. Clearly this was going to go very wrong, they weren't paying any attention to their hands! He leaned further away with each exclamation and motion the other boy made and only tried to compose himself when Caiden appeared to be done.
"... I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised!" He began, after taking a sip. "If this is you're first time making tea, you've done very well. ... Perhaps you'd be interested in trying some chamomile tea? It's very good for... Your nerves."

He could respect that.
"Smells great! I'm Nucleo, I run a coffee stand down the street. What's your name?" Approaching the cloaked troll, the greenblood took a sip from one of the cups and let out a content sigh.

JUDGEMENT: DAY 2> Judgement: Day 2; Malice Ragoon
CatDad acknowledged Malice with an rumbling purr and continued to amuse himself with the crowds going past. Rastin, however, was far more focused upon the... Less than amused looking child in front of him. He straightened himself out and cocked a brow, before furrowing them as the tea was so carelessly plopped down in front of him. What was this attitude about? He wasn't going to tolerate that.
"Correction, this is your tea." He replied, as deadpan as she had been. "This is a tea judging booth, where everything from how hot the tea is to how the finished product is presented matters. It's very much the same as a cooking competition, and I treat it as such. Should you not take this seriously, then do not participate. Thank you."

Caiden was silent for all of 3 seconds, his mouth open. Then with a sob of happiness he launched a hug at the purpleblood booth owner. "Im so glad you liked it! This tea stuff is REALLY COOL! Oh man! HEY HEY OMG! Do you want to go hang out after bloodfest?! I could like, paint you or something! Youll LOVE it! Its sooo fun! Here here, this is me!" Caiden exclaimed as he pulled out one of his "im lost, help me get home" cards that CamoDad insisted he keep on himself. "Where i live is on that card, see?? Dad INSISTS i keep um on me, but now i know why!! So i can hand um out so you can come visit me!!!"

As the purpleblood rattled on, Malice turned her face away and rolled her eyes. What was it with purplebloods and being so intolerable? Straightening her back and clasping her hands behind it, she tilted her head, pretending to be interested.
"Oh, I was under the impression that..." Malice started offhandedly, looking over the booth. Her eyes finally set back on the purpleblood. "Well, I suppose it doesn't really matter, does it." Suddenly slamming her hands down on the counter, she slowly leaned in closer, face appearing calm, but there was a vicious glint in her gaze. "I take everything seriously."
Malice leaned back, sliding her hands off the surface and shoving them into her pockets, before taking her leave. Oh, she'd be back.

Rastin MordenRastin had made the crucial mistake of staring at Caiden instead of moving to duck under his booth. The very second that he was enveloped in a hug, the purpleblood was fighting to get free. This was not what he signed up for, nor was this what his booth offered! This wasn't "Hug Time" it was "Tea Time"! He made a series of unhappy sounds.
"Please remove your arms from my person or so help me-" He growled, before being confronted with a card and further shouting. Augh, the shouting! It was almost as bad as the hugging!
"That's lovely, put it somewhere else that isn't directly in my face." He replied, wiggling his shoulders. "Wait, why do you need cards that tell others where you live? Do you get lost easily or something?"
He paused, his brows furrowing before he continued.
"... Are you lost right now?" He asked, his voice dripping with concern, more for himself than for Caiden.

Oh, cool, more free food. Drink. Whatever. " Hi," Alifax told the tiny purpleblood. " What exactly am I supposed to do?" He wasn't going to touch the lusus. That was an obvious trap. Oh, okay. Pour tea on that end and bring it over on this end. That was fine. He headed over, and waited for the troll ahead of him to finish before grabbing the pot thing for himself. He poured hastily, and stuck the cup on the saucer afterwards. Wait - most trolls were scared of fire, right? Did that extend to hot drinks? Better to be safe than sorry. He definitely wanted a frilly purple cup for Frossa. He tapped his foot for a bit and glared suspiciously at the provided decorations. Those were not going anywhere near his cup. This purpleblood looked rational; he probably had good judgment. Okay, he'd waited several minutes, which probably meant that it was fine to deliver the cup now. He walked over, spilling nothing. " Here," he said. When he was offered a prize, he took the cup with purple swirls all over it. That seemed up Frossa's alley. +1 +1 +1 +0 = 3

Rastin MordenRastin leaned backward as Malice moved closer. He could tell that her calm expression was just a facade by the look in her eyes, and tensed up in preparation for an attack. However, instead of lunging upon him as he thought she would, she decided to slam her hands on the counter and walk off. To this, he leaned forward and waved his hand.
"WELL, ******** you too!" He shouted, slumping back and grumbling. "What nerve! If she shows up again, I won't take this bullshit a second time."

JUDGEMENT: DAY 2> Judgement: Day 2; Alifax Bunsem
CatDad was much more interested in the lights flashing from a far off booth. If he had been a trap, he would have been a very poor one.
"Evening." Rastin replied, giving Alifax a once over. "Erm... All you have to do is make a cup of tea using the supplies provided and bring it to me to be judged. A fairly simple task."
Well, considering the amount of poor cups of tea he'd received so far, it at least should be a fairly simple task.
Nevertheless, he watched Alifax make the tea as he had done with the others and took a sip from the cup carefully.
"Warm, sweet, and handled very well." He said, before motioning to the prize table. "Very good job. You can take anything you'd like from the table over there."

Sephos ArbolaSephos went to Rastin's booth and gave him a nod in greeting - better than a 'hello' for them both. Of course, Seph wanted to say hi, but he was more interested in the tea. He had just finished drying a batch of herbs, and he wanted to see how they turned out in tea. He began to brew the tea, carefully putting his herbs into a tea strainer and setting it into the hot water. He watched the water turn dark with tannins, intent as a hawk. He poured a little into a cup to taste - a little light, with a bit of bitter on the back of the tongue... hmmm... He put in a little bit of honey, just to try to balance it out, pouring another tester. It tasted good. He prepared another two cups, honey and all (with a little of the honey stuck to the cup, oops) and brought the saucers carefully over to Rastin. "Here." he said, offering the purpleblood cup, saucer, and a napkin as he sat down with his own cup, "What do you think of this blend? " Quote: Warm: +1 Sweet: +1 Well Mannered: +2 Sticky: -1 total Score: +3

Fellah had almost made some decent tea the night before at this booth. However, a bit of clumsiness made his work for naught. This night he hoped he could keep sure footed and deliver some decent tea this time.
Using all his concentration, Fellah took the critique he was given last night and improved on it remarkably! He made sure not to make it too hot, but kept the sweet taste. Managing to not trip over his own feet this time he also delivered it well and included a biscuit again. He hoped the kid who was running this shindig would be pleasantly surprised.
Score: Perfect temperature +2 Sweet +1 Delivered it without incident +1 Biscuit on the side +2

JUDGEMENT?: DAY 2Doutei I'm going to count this as Day 2 because of the time stamp, and Nucleo can still take a regular prize if you'd like because of his score. o wo <3 > Judgement?: Day 2; Nucleo Glatte
Rastin smiled when he saw Nucleo. He'd been to his booth before and, even before that, to his coffee shop in Busthind. Though they hadn't been properly introduced, he felt as though they already had some common ground. After all, even if he would always be loyal to tea, he had a fondness for coffee too.
"Hello, Nucleo! Thank you for stopping by." Rastin replied. "I'm Rastin and I was at your booth earlier, actually! The service is very good, I must say."
He watched the other take a sip of the tea he'd made and decided against mentioning that it was supposed to be judged. Nucleo could have that cup as a thank you for making such good coffee.

3. Warm (+1) 4. Satisfying (+1) 1. Minor spilling (-1) 2. Tea cup is sticky (-1)Total: flat 0 Rasali could sniff out Earl Grey tea from a mile away. It took her a moment of standing in front of the booth, deep in thought, before approaching. Would it be too obvious if she was hanging out at a tea-centric booth? Honestly a tea pot shaped troll with tea pot shaped horns and a steam-centric symbol (not to mention her general steaminess)--where else would royalists look for someone like her? Then again it wasn't like there was some rebel-specific hunting party at Bloodfest of all places. It was a fair, not a government pavilion. Rasali took a calming breath (chamomile!!) and strode on up to the available kettles. If anything after all the stress she'd sustained, she could have used a mug of tea. Sure there had been coffee for sale, but... Coffee tasted like dirt. Rasali decisively scooped herbs from a variety of containers. Screw it: Peikoe knew how to make tea. It was canon now; Rasali had decided. It wasn't suspicious. Everyone liked tea. Rasali had been so secure in her decision, unfortunately, that she whipped around with her cup too fast for the amount of tea she was carrying. Whoops. Thankfully the water hadn't been hot enough to scald. Rasali tried to covertly wipe off the side of the cup, but the sugar she'd added was leaving a sticky spot... Well, no use crying over spilled tea. She still had enough to drink at least, which was the important part.
