The Trickster's♥Crack Ship♥[Valentine's Edition] Never gonna give you up, Never gonna let you down...
All pets won from this event count of the month of February - you cannot win a Soquili if you have already won a Soquili this month. The same goes for familiars!
(Format stolen/modified from Mindsend with permission <3)
Starts: February 10th 7PM EST Ends: February 14th 5PM EST
(Please note: the trickster spirits are pretty much just the colourists 8D) Somewhere in the spirit realm, far from the observation of any mortal being, a small group of trickster spirits giggled and snickered as their vague figures darted among the trees. Looking at the Kawani lands, they ghosted through unnoticed - no one seeing, no one hearing, leaving no scent or trail to follow. While their influence was usually strongest when the leaves turned orange and crisp, with harvest coming round the corner, something this season had stirred their heads and awoken their powers.
As the winter began to break, the ground softening and giving way to green buds bursting through from deep within the soil, the fertility spirits had been busy at work, blessing unsuspecting couples (or, in some cases where they got carried away, some unlucky one night stands) with the gift of children. The laughter of foals threatened to spill onto the Kawani lands as mare's bellies began to swell, and the trickster spirits stirred with the thoughts of endless possibilities.
Memories of the previous year flitted through their minds, and all the fun that had come with it. Why should the fertility spirits get all the fun, making all the children this season? Why bless only the couples? Why not just... make baskets. Any baskets. No one's baskets. Baskets just for fun. Their faces broke into deep grins, shadowy hands slowly rubbed themselves together at the thoughts of such fun mischief.
It was time to play the "shipping" game once again. They had done it before, "shipping" the residents of the Kawani lands, taking inspiration from random soquili and familiars, and in some cases even with inanimate objects - rocks, jewellery, and in some extremely crazy cases even the human natives. Some paired concepts for beauty, others for sheer strangeness. What sorts of surprises could come out of those baskets were limited only by the extents of the spirit's imagination.
One of them crept forwards, doing a quick loop of a blissfully unaware soquili. "Look at these stripes, oh yes, I can work with these stripes. And the spots off that piece of fabric over there!" It darted over towards a billowing piece of canvas that someone had left out to dry, hanging over the boughs of a tree. "Oh oh, and I like the fluffy tail on that fox over there. It just has to have a fluffy tail." It reached behind it, pulling out a basket before quickly moulding a shape together with its hands. There, it was done. One child. Three random elements. It placed it into the basket to slumber away, leaving it to finish developing until it was ready to emerge.
"Pfffft, those are just markings. You have to be crazier than that." Another one dashed forwards, blazing straight past the first. "Right, look at that purewalker. We're going to take his ears. JUST HIS EARS. And. That snake over there, yeah. Ears and a snake. And then. Then then. How about that cloud up there, I like that cloud. OH, and to mix it up even more? We'll throw in some soup. Because who doesn't love soup? One soupey, fluffy eared, snake-cloud baby."
The spirits cackled away, grinning gleefully. Really, there were no limits on what crazy things they could mix together into these children. Suddenly, Valentine's day was going to be far more fun this year.
Please note that we are abolishing the rule that crackship babies are genetically related to their "inspiration". All baskets made as a result of this crackship event ARE NOT related to ANYONE in soquili - regardless of whether or not a Soquili/Familiar was used for inspiration. They are just that - inspiration, not relations.
Each person may enter only one ticket However, within your entry you can choose up to a total of five different inspirations (from any combination of the offered categories). For example, you can enter two soquili, one familiar, one image and a likes/dislikes list. Yes, the likes/dislikes list DOES count as one of your 'inspirations'.
You must have permission to enter a pet here You are free to enter any Soquili/familiars that you personally own or co-own, but if you want to enter someone else's Soquili you must get explicit permission to do so.
This is a "crack pairing" In canon, these baskets/familiars are not biologically related to ANY of the "parents" (inspirations used). They do not ever have to meet them, they can even breed with them. They are not biologically related in any way, the spirits have simply used some aspect of them as inspiration to make a brand new child.
ANY pets can be entered Literally any pet or pet-like-item or anything from Soquili can be entered - be it lifemated Soquili, skinwalkers, familiars, or even CYO plushies that haven't been converted yet. You may even use pets from other shops, provided that you can prove you own them.
The outcome of this event will be twins Colourists will roll together two entries to "ship" together. They are free to use any/all of the inspirations listed from both posts (could just be one from each, or could be all ten). They will then colour two identical, same-sex growing Soquili (or familiars), one for each of the rolled owners. The twins will only have minor differences between them, usually a colour palette shift.
Please read the rules for each type of inspiration you are going to use Each type of inspiration has its own rules attached. You MUST follow them, or else your entry will be DQed and you will be forced to repost a new one. These are all listed in the next post, along with all the forms.
Please keep images smaller than 500x500 pixels No one likes to have their page stretched, or be full of crazy-giant images. If your image is over the limit, either use a thumbnail of it and link to a larger version, or post the large image in spoiler tags.
You may edit your posts as much as you want Editing your inspiration has no effect on the list - so you are free to edit your posts as much as you please before the end of the contest. However, if you are found breaking any of the rules, your entry will be forcibly DQed and you will have to completely repost a brand new entry.

Source: A Shadowrun (setting) Tabletop RPG - he's the original player character I created
Description: Barnabas is an Arcanavore, an elf sub-species of my design. Coarse, spiky black hair interspersed with porcupine-like quills, Paper-white skin, black, clawed hands and feet, and black arcane runes that shift in design and placement, moving over his skin. His ears are exaggerated in length, his eyes are pupilless and black, and his mouth is full of sharp teeth - that he uses to eat primarily inanimate magical items. CC discretion - you can also completely ignore the clothing since, well, Soquili. Hell, you can of course ignore whatever you want since this is also one half of a mock-breeding :3

About Character :Syn grew up near a two-legger villege deep in the moutain's where his father was chief of his clan. He was the only soquili in his clan to be born with two different colored eyes, one green, one red. His father's elders saw this as a bad omen. His mother and sister died when he was very young from attack on his herd by a unknown shadow. Since then he trained as a protecter of his herd with his father's blissing as the oldest son he would more and likely take his father's place. He trained everyday with brother, when it came time to pick a new leader.
