Cecil smiled at Hitsu, that smile turning nervous when he looked to Cerise and lowered his voice. "Sorry." He had tried not to speak loudly but apparently it had been loud enough. An undying was upon them shortly after, appearing from the darkness and taking a swipe at him. Cecil took a step back but couldn't completely avoid the hit, nearly stumbling over the rubble in the street.

She wasn't sure if it was her fault that an undying appeared, if only because she couldn't quite make out how loudly she was talking. The startled sound she made when Cecil was attacked couldn't have been any quieter, and she was quick to pick up a piece of debris off the ground to chuck at it to try and divert its attention.

Despite what little damage the first thing she'd thrown had accomplished, it was something and Hitsu reached for a piece of rubble and decided it was best to keep throwing things and hope for the best.
Unfortunately it still didn't keep her out of range for counter attacks.

"Oh my God, we're not okay, we're so not okay right now are you not seeing this?" Cerise keened, trying to push the infected away and also keep her distance. She was still lightheaded from her blood loss, though, and coupled with the fact that she wasn't any kind of fighter, it was awkward.

"I'm sorry! And...no not well." Cecil had geared up to help. He was ready to attack but fell short with his hit. The creature was not as close as he thought and he squinted trying to better judge the distance only to get hit for his troubles.
