THE MOOSE stared at the small, blank sheet of paper resting on a brick in his lap. Where to begin? Really, there was only one place.

SMALLER MOOSE WENT MISSING APPROXIMATELY 30 DAYS AGO. I HAVE SPENT MY TIME SINCE THEN EXTENSIVELY SCREENING THE SEWER SYTEM AROUND CLEARVIEW APARTMENTS. I HAVE ALSO SCOURED LOCAL BUILDINGS AND UNITS WHILE ON TASKS FOR MISS ZELDA COLLINS. SO FAR, I HAVE FOUND AS MANY UMBRELLAS AS I HAVE DISAPPOINTMENTS.

I AM NOT CERTAIN WHAT DETAILS WOULD BE MOST VALUABLE. THIS HAS NOT, BASED ON CURRENT EVIDENCE, BEEN A SCRIPTED EVENT. WITHOUT CUES I AM UNCERTAIN ON HOW TO MOVE FORWARD. PLEASE TELL THE EDITING AND DIRECTING CREW TO ADVISE. ALSO, I AM UNSURE OF WHO THE LEAD CHARACTER IS MEANT TO BE. GIVEN MY INJURY I AM TO ASSUME IT IS NOT ME.

He paused, putting the pen to his mouth.

ALSO, THERE IS THE ISSUE OF PAY. I HAVE NOT YET BEEN ABLE TO GET IN CONTACT WITH MY MANAGER, BUT I AM CERTAIN HE WILL NOT BE PLEASED WITH MY CURRENT TREATMENT. THIS IS A VERY HAZARDOUS SET, AND ALSO IT IS INVADING ON MY LIFE AND WELL BEING. MY CONTRACT SPECIFICALLY STATES NO REALITY TELEVISION.

He signed it neatly, and sighed. He had to assume this was all some sort of promotional stunt the execs had cooked up, but how could they afford to rent out the entire city and so many extras? After all, he knew zombies weren't real. Right?

Regardless of the situation, THE MIGHTY MOOSE only really had one goal in mind: get back his dog. Everything else was just extra.
