It had been a long and grueling day, but by the end of it, MOOSE was able to finally move his injured arm. He flexed, moving through a few different poses.
"AH, YES. THIS IS SUFFICIENT-"
He was interrupted by the sudden sound of explosions outside.
He strode purposefully to the window, snatching aside the filmy lace curtains. Odd, he was pretty sure those were fireworks and not rescue flairs. Maybe it was finally time for the wrap party? A wrap party for a live, reality tv event, and he didn't even get invited.
And, more importantly, they still had not found his dog.
Angry, the MOOSE left his domicile, slamming the door behind him and striding purposefully out into the night. He arrived at the source of the commotion - a giant, gaudily-lit building that appeared to have perfectly functioning electricity and, when he slammed open the doors, refreshments.
"I WILL SPEAK TO MY MANAGER ABOUT THIS, YOU KNOW," he boomed menacingly.

MOOSE eyed the drinking, gambling patrons of what appeared to be a casino.
"GAMBLING IS FOOLISHNESS AND A SIN," he said to no one in particular.
A foppishly dressed man approached him with a tiny, umbrella'd drink and a bag of coins. He tucked the latter into his speedo, and refused the former. "I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THESE FABULOUS PRIZES, UNLESS ONE OF THEM IS A BLACK, VERY FLAT FACED DOG."
So he stood there in front of the door, arms crossed, glaring at everyone beneath his mask.

Some time later, he began to feel a bit woozy. Convinced it was from all the smoke in the air, he tried to leave through the door he'd came in, but he couldn't seem to figure out how to open the handle.
"SOMETHING...SMELLS ROTTEN...in Denmark..." he managed, the last bit uncharacteristically in a normal volume voice.
He sunk down to the floor and into a heap.
When he finally came to, he was tied tightly to a chair in a pitch black room.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" he bellowed, pleased that at least his voice was more or less back under his control. His muscles buldged as he attempted to break free, but to no avail. When the lights flashed on again, he ignored the tinny announcer's voice that was booming through the speakers in an attempt to find a target for his utter and just wrath.
THE WRESTLER'S UNION WILL HEAR OF THIS, he thought.
He was certainly not interested in their silly game, and remained silent when they asked for questions.
Then, for his trouble, he was summarily dragged off to another room and told to pick a contestant to 'buy'.
"I AM NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING SOMEONE TODAY," he countered coldly. They simply waited for him to choose. "UGH. FINE. EENY, MEENY, MINEY, MO..." At great length, he chose the young lady, and the other man was taken away to yet another mysterious room.
"WHAT IS IN THERE?"
Are you sure you want to know?
The woman shook her head violently, but THE MOOSE ignored her. "DID I STUTTER?"
THE MOOSE probably wished he had stuttered afterward, as they gruesomely cut her down into, quite literally, bite sized slices. He supposed then that the event wasn't over yet, and this was yet another unintelligible plot twist by the writers.
"YOUR PRACTICAL EFFECTS ARE VERY NICE," he commented to the attendant as he was carried back out into the casino proper.

THE MIGHTY MOOSE was rudely shoved back into the casino proper, and fitted with a blinking LED collar with his coin value. He'd seen this movie one time - it had a lot of blood and murder and schoolkids in it. He wondered if this was some kind of Canadian remake. He cracked his knuckles. THE MIGHTY MOOSE belonged to no one.
