History:

Born in Sauti to Iroia and Votzhem he adores his parents and his grandmothers. He likes to play with his sister who is a pretty serious companion. He wants to travel and see things, chase critters and see whats going on out there.

Lost his Father and his twin sister to an unknown fate, is reeling along with his mother from the loss.

Making new friends in the Jauhar forest after moving from Sauti, eager to meet the yaeli as they are in his eyes just as different as himself.

His father and sister reapeared and the family was back together the stronger for the time apart. Having his sister back has meant the world to Arron. Soon after the reunion the family grew again with the addition of Selvei and Ruulu.

Arron chose to go down the path of a thief to save animals and is now dating the shifter Sezarra.

Personality:
Hyperactive: Arron has inherited the disorder that his mother suffers. Unlike her though his condition set in with puberty. This new side of him makes life harder and him a little edgyer and less sweet than he was as a youngling. After much exersize he is able to come down to normal energy levels.

Calculating: Arron will examine a situation and come up with the most likely situation. This makes him a fantastic strategist. He is level headed as well for the most part if you don't count his younger sister Ruulu. Arron enjoys the challenge of his work and predicting the outcomes of battle or an animal rescue scenario.

Considerate: When it comes to people he cares about Arron will do anything for them. He is very much aware of and in support of familial and kith loyalty. Those who stick together stay alive to argue together later.

Mother had been behaving oddly for weeks before he started to notice the bump forming between her hip bones. Once he noticed he had a hard time not staring constantly at the evidence of a growing family. He was surprised that he had caught on so early, but he was his parent's son not Ruelash's. Eventually his mother started to stare back at him and winked. So he knew she knew. The woman had probably done it on purpose to see who noticed first. Just like her. Dad had to know, Iroia wouldn't be able to keep it from her husband. Arron ran his hands through his hari and ruffled it up. More siblings came as a little bit of a shock. He as used to being the little one, but he supposed that he and his sister were not so little anymore. He shook his head, tie was such an interesting phenomenon. Hair grew, sisters grew taller, Mom's got pregnant again.

Arron turned to whip forms next to try and organize his thoughts. Little did he know that many years ago, his Mother had done much the same thing with practice swords. Once he felt more balanced he settled down again to think calmly pulling from his Father's side of the family. Was he excited? Not yet. Was he worried? Yes.

The question was, why? Sure there were risked to being pregnant, someone like his mother would have to eat constantly to keep up with the energy demands plus the labour risks but if it were really all that dangerous he would not be there today nor Volka and everyone would be born like his father; from a flower on a tree. He wondered if he should confer with his sister or keep quiet. No doubt she would notice soon too. He welcomed her input. What would this mean for their family? They were certainly stable enough financially, always they had enough to eat no matter who went hunting. Thinking about this relaxed him somewhat.

Arron was pulling up water from the town well, hand over hand on the rope, slippery as it was he was surprised he had any grip on it at all. He had done this task any number of times before; Ruulu had taken to coming with him but she was likely on another hunting lesson with her brother and either mother or father. Two siblings were never further apart; but the little sister who looked more like father than he did seemed to understand that her little brother could not take the harassment that she dealt out upon himself. She seemed to have a soft spot for Selvei, he sneezed, maybe it was because they were twins. Or his sister was smart enough to know that Selvei was different from the rest of the family. He sneezed again and again. Uh oh. He might be coming down with a cold. That would be unfortunate. If he got sick there would be no escape from his little sister. What a nightmare. He would legitimately have to employ his tein sister to watch over him to keep the little sister away. His family dynamics were just a little messed up.

Arron made his way home, slowly, considering the awkwardsness of the bucket of water. He poured it into the holding jug and laid down on the couch, feeling worse by the moment. When his mother came in an hour later she found her son sprawled out in a feverish heat he remembered her pumping him full of fluids and rubbing her cool leafling hands over his forhead he was in good hands at least. She was sure it was a common cold or flu and that he was not dying despite his concerns. He couldn't remember being this sick before, it was not a feeling that he enjoyed overly much; every time he tried to get up, he swooned. His mother watched him like a hawk and prevented the others form becoming pests. This was an utter relief because he did not have the strength to defend himself.

He went to sleep that night hoping that he would be miraculously cured in the morning. It was not to be as he discovered himself throwing up in the wee hours of the morning. He remained bedridden for days, which felt like years to his young mind. The boredom would have gotten to him more if he had been awake for much of it. His strength slowly befan to return on the 4th day of his internment. he still felt like he would be unable to lift a sailscale. So much for fabled alkidike strength. Eventually he was able to take solid food again.

He reflected on the vague memories that he had in the early days of his cold. His mother bustling in and out, the rest of his family passing by as if he was barely there mentally, lacking the energy to stay awake. Now that he was more awake he found that he had missed them all greatly along with the everyday things like going outside. Fresh air seemed but a fond memory never mind the experience of going for a walk in it. He was grumpy he could admit it. he needed to get up and do something. He gingerly swung his leg over the side of the couch and slowly got up. He hobbled out to shower and felt immediately a thousand times better. Good enough to sit down with his creature book and flip through it. There was on page in which his little sister had scribbled. This made him smile before he yelled and went to chase her around the house even though he was still weak.

He wasn't sure if it was because she had missed her brother or if it was that pesky strip of maliciousness that she carried around with her like a badge of honor. He guessed he would never find out which one it was. But he did enjoy chasing her around the house until he ran out of energy which happened faster than he wanted. Then she came to sit on him like she had conquered him.

Arron was on a trip exploring the vast grasslands of Tale. He was looking for interesting creatures and things, after all he didn’t come into Tale that often. Maybe while he was here he would find a nice present for Beula, a girl whom he had only met a few times but was most eager to see again. He had to admit he had a bit of a crush on the girl, but well there were other girls out there too as mother would say. He threaded his way through the tall grass, he liked it out here in the open, perhaps it was his leafling half that enjoyed the open air and swaying tallgrass more then the enclosed canopy of the Jauharan rainforest. Jauhar had provided Mother with a memory free sanctuary while she worked through the crisis of loosing Father an his sister all that time ago. He still remembered what it had been like and could never prevent himself from shuddering at the memory. Alone, they had been so alone.
Now though they were an even bigger family, which made him very proud, Although if Ruulu were not so much like father he would have said she was adopted. But in the end under all the bickering, he loved her too. She loved father more than any other being, well and mother but mostly father. Arron stretched and heard a bird call. He froze. It wasn’t one of the ones he had ever heard with his own ears before. But he knew who’s it was. It was a rare adult kinfa. The most dangerous creature he knew. His heart squeezed with fear and he froze before slowly sinking to the ground.
The haunting call came though the grass again before heavy wingbeats and a disturbingly large shadow flew overhead.
Arron waited a good fifteen minutes before daring to rise from his spot in the grass. Curiousity was really a curse. It led him to where the calls had come from and he came to a protective copse of trees with perhaps the biggest nest he had ever seen. He could walk across it it was so big. He peered around looking for the adult kinfa..did they have eggs in there? He could not control his interest here. A kinfa egg. A real kinfa egg, it was one of the holy grails for beast tamers..but he also didn’t want to fly himself..he wasn’t fond of being in the air..or at least he didn’t think he could handle it..but still to be able to study a kinfa from the egg..it would be most valuable. Maybe he would specialize in them. He tilted his head, still detecting no noise. The parents would return soon, no parent would be silly enough to leave a nest alone for long in Tale. He scurried to the edge of the bowl and peered inside. Three eggs lay there unmolested. Now if he could just…he crawled up the side and slide down. Scooping an egg before he could really think this through he crawled up the other side and started to run. Cradling the egg he kept running for a long, long time.
Out of breath he paused he was still deep in the Tale grass and needed to navigate his way home with his prize. This was something that Sezarra had not even managed to do. To capture a kinfa, no matter at which life stage. Now he had an egg. He did not want it for himself, but he knew who the bird would suite. Someone more brave and crazy than himself; his little sister Ruulu.

Class selection solo part 1

Arron sat with his back to the tree trunk that belonged to the branch he was sitting on. It was an old gnarled tree, a veteran of many seasons and a stahlwart steady companion for his deep thoughts. Arron felt like he was missing something vital in his life. He supposed that this estrangement came from having such a tumultuous childhood. It wasn’t every life that experienced a parent returned from insanity. Both of his parents were steady now, so it was only fitting he supposed that he and his sister were not. Volka was divided in her class choice and he had found out recently that he was as well. He sighed and leaned his head against the rough bark. Drops of water pleck plecked onto the broad tropical leaves that sheltered him and he tried to loose himself in the sound. The forest giant swayed comfortingly in the wind. Like a mother rocking her child to sleep. All of this time he had thought that beast charming would be his class but now that he had tried it, and discovered that he had some talent with it, he no longer wanted to pursue it as a lifelong career. A whip, made of leather quite simply wasn’t sharp enough for him. He supposed maybe that his new craving for blades was the result of his parents dormant blood rising from the murk. His sister had had it from the beginning, he suspected that her being raised mostly by Ruelash was the cause. She hadn’t had to worry about their mother loosing what little marbles she had clung to in the dark times during which she believed his father and sister to be gone. Now that everyone was back and his Mother stable his true self felt safe enough to emerge. Which left him with a hard decision. What to do with himself now that he no longer felt like himself. This state of unease frustrated him which made him angry. He rarely got angry and it was a state of being that he really didn’t like which only served to make him angrier.
There were so many classes out there that hit was hard for him to choose. He had never been all that fond of the magical arts be it stones, staff or book. Books were for journaling and that was that, as far as he was concerned. Many of the other arts did not have sharp things or any weapons at all. Some part of him knew he was a battle class, not a pansy or a merchant or any of that other boring stuff. His latent blood sang for metal not crystal. He had never properly strung a bow without getting caught up in it somehow ending up horribly entangled with the contraption and whatever parent was nearest trying to get him out.
This left of course the rider class ehich would suite him and the bandit class which he knew his sister was also partial to. Rider of course would have worked but spears were clumsy and long. He hated being clumsy, clumsiness could get you killed out here. Therefore he was left with the bandit class. He could be a theif and still work with animals, maybe steal them from bad owners or from meat markets as well as train his own. Throwing knives or a dagger were sleek, fine and fast, the opposite of clumsy. Yes this plan worked for him. This way he need not fly, need not choose his ultimate riding companion for a long time. For all he knew his perfect companion could simply be his perzi. A cat made a fine theif after all. Intelligent, flexible, quiet, stealthy, all traits that beloned to both ideals. Now his biggest fear was telling Seze that he was not going to follow in her footsteps. Instead he would follow the thief path. He had a feeling though that she would not mind all that much once he told her why he wanted to be a theif. She had done much the same with Reinreil after all. He was sure that Seze would get it.
His sister too would be overjoyed but would show it in typical Volka fashion. She had not gotten their Mother’s exuberance. Selvei perhaps might grow into it when he was a little older, he would be one to watch. Arron was a bit fascinated with his little brother, he would love him no matter who he turned into. It seemed to him that Ruulu had taken all the feisty from their mother, indeed both parents from within the womb itself. He had observed much the same difference in animals of the same species in his travels. There were so many places to discover out there, so many animals who needed someone to help them. Here, Sauti, Tale, Matori, maybe even Belrea, though he might not be able to stomach that travel. Ew, flying. Who in their right mind would purposely take their feet from solid ground. He rolled his eyes and polished his Mother’s blades. Now they were sharp but too big, too ostentacious, both his mother’s and his father’s. Besides if he went with the double blades of an assassin he would be just like his parents and he wasn’t just like them he was both and neither at the same time. He had his Father’s patience and his Mother’s fondness for green things. He could only hope that he found a love like theirs one day. He hoped that Seze found it too. She had written to him to tell him that Bar Amal had disappeared, likely dead from the appearance of his loyal janarim at Seze’s side. He hoped that he never had to go through that. He wondered who she would partner with now, who would be able to handle her with those yellow eyes. He would offer himself of course but he had eyes for another shifter lass.
Besides Seze was like an older sister to him, much like Kaa was for his father. So many echos. His life, his parent’s lives, all repeating, echoing and changing. His own life had just changed, he found a better spot for himself after he was allowed to change naturally. He knew deep down that he had made the right choice. He could feel the blaze of righteous energy start. The same energy that his mother had delt with from the time when she was a little girl it appeared that he had simply had to grow into his. This kind of energy was not proper for a beast charmer who had to be able to be calm at any time, something that would be impossible for him with the magnitude of energy that he was sensing from within himself. His mother was hardly ever truly calm either. Maybe when she was completely asleep? Yes, maybe then. He was no sure that his father’s personality which he had inherited quite a bit of, to his reasoning, could handle his Mother’s level of energy, so he resolved to let himself swing to be more like her, adaptable, free spirited , occasionally loud. It would be a good cover for his thieving, seen when it suited him, unseen when it didn’t. He would use the strengths of both his parents to become the ultimate theif. To make them proud, to make himself proud, to drive his little sister crazy with his mad stealth skills, Yes! His little sister would have to look up to him then and catch up instead of blazing forward in their parents’ eyes ahead of himself and Volka. He wouldn’t say he was a jelous older sibling, at least not yet but she could have been more like Selvei that would have been okay yes. Arron clibed down from the tree, passing many critters seen and unseen on his way home. He went to his room, shuffled about for a bit, remembered his cat, went on a hunt for it, scooped it up and returned to his room for the requisite cuddles that were his due. He didn’t need to keep all the critters he really just needed this one!
Arron was all about family but soon the small side trips to Tale would not be enough to curb the wanderlust that plagued all prentices at some point it seemed. He took down a ap of tedaji with one hand, his other arm was still full of perzi, and started to plan his route through Tendaji to scout for his purposes. His biggest targets would be the cities, where people had less care for each other as well it seemed their pets. He would start perhaps in Sauti and head to Oba, Matori and Yael. It was no coincidence that he was choosing the most exotic places for his ventures, he was plagued by a bored spirit after all, Jauhar and Tale just would not do any more for him. It was new and wonderful lands or bust. He would pack on the morrow and set out for Sauti soon after. He had never been there before it should be exciting to see the barren place of the wind people and apparently his grandparents. He hoped to one day meet them too.

Arron arrived at one of the largest cities in Sauti, he had underestimated the dreariness of the land without the abundance of vegetation of one form or another that was always to be had in Jauhar and Tale. Cold, rocky and windblown it was certainly different from what he had known in the past. The air felt fresher, perhaps due to the cooler temperatures up here, his mind felt clear and sharp he was ready for the many challenges ahead. First he found a place to stay, a respectable inn called the Fluffy Radaku, he ordered his room and food and though about what his goals for the day would be. He was sure he had got this down pat. Once he was set up inside he went outside to scout about, heading right to the market place to see how many beast merchants were out nad about this late in the day. He wasn’t anticipating a large group with how barren looking the surrounding areas were, Nt many creatures could live off of straight rock or at least not any that he knew of. He missed his cat already, after this trial run, he may or may not bring her, maybe if he trained her really well. She could run with him as long as his wares did not try to eat her. Now that would be something his Mother might find amusing, but he bet that Father would not. He could just imagine that conversation and the long speech that would accompany that not to mention he would have lot his cat! Arron hit the marketplace, it was bustling which shocked him utterly. He would have thought with the area that the beast market would have been mediocre at best, but here it was a mecca of special abundance. He wished he was actually pet shopping now, look at that magnificent snaptrotter! A brilliant blue shimmering in the sun. What one was doing this far north was anyone’s guess. He wondered how it fared with the weather. Sauti was not exactly balmy at any time fo the year. He himself took issue with it and he was a quarter iceling. However the creature looked well cared for so he moved on. He parused slowly for about an hour taking his time and thoroughly inspecting each animal he came across. Apart from the odd flea infestation all the animals he found were well cared for. He was quite pleased with this, perhaps his services were not needed after all. In the interest of completing a job well he did inspect the final two merchants and that was where he found them.
A pair of radaku obviously used as draft animals. They were exhausted looking with obvious wear marks on their skin where a leather harness had rubbed against them for a very long time it seemed. He felt for them immediately and resolved to come back for them the next day. Once he came back to the market though the pair were gone along with their merchant. He scouted the outskirts of town and followed the path he detected. They had not gotten all that far it seemed, because instead of using fresh animals the radaku were being used to pull the other creatures least they lose their sale value. Atrocious behavior, really a stellar example of why animals were better than people, he followed the group until they stopped for the noon meal. He was grateful they did because the radaku were not the only tired ones. He was exhausted but he had work to do. He had underestimated the work that went into endeavors like this but he was determined to see it through. He waited for the merchant to go and relieve himself, Arron was lucky that he worked alone there was only the one guy. He snuck down the hill and quietly unhitched the radaku who were too tired almost to walk nevermind protest his presence. He led them away through the bush melting away as the radaku did naturally and the shifters had taught him to. So much time spent in the deep forest of Jauhar paid off even though they had to use the sparse copse of bushes to do it and mostly boulders. They would have to hide for a while somewhere while the merchant searched the nearby area which meant that now that he had them he had to find a place to hide.
Next time he would have to plan this out better because his melting only went so far until one of the radaku collapsed in exhaustion giving the merchant time to find them, Arron hurriedly trying to revive the poor tired creature. He covered his face and hair with a scrap of fabric quickly, this wasn’t supposed to happen. Now he had a right mess going on. The radaku were too tired to defend either of them and it would be up in the air who they would have chosen to defend anyway, which was alright. Arron didn’t have any weapons or any companions with him it was him against the merchant, so his only choice was to do what his parents would have done he thought and use the man’s body weight against him before said man used it to crush him instead. Arron ran at the man away from the dagger he was holding up the side of the boulder grabbed the man’s braid and used it to wheel him around and keep the dangerous end away from his hide, he was unsure how long he would be able to keep fighting but prayed to the gods he would make it out of this instance whole and intact. He released the braid once he got some good momentum going and it miraculously sent the merchant flying. The man landed and was stunned enough that arron could pick up the sick radaku and make a better attempt at his escape. Adrenaline pumped in himself and he felt terrible for the limp body in his arms. He only hoped that he could get back to town..no that wouldn’t do, he would have to spend the night out here. Now he would just have to get far enough away from the man to make sure that the radaku were safe this time. He would construct a lean to out of whatever he could find, start a fire simply because the creatures needed it when they were this tired, hunt for food because they needed that too among many other things. This was a lot more work then he had originally thought but now that he had started on this path his conscious would never let him quit without a massive mental fight. To touch these poor tired creatures, to feel their shuddering breaths, he could not allow anything like this to happen were he aware of it.

Blurb: Arron has discovered that despite planning, real conditions change in real time, work that looked like a small pile at first becomes a mountain, he has found a real dedication in himself that will let him accomplish things that under different circumstances he wouldn’t have signed up for. Now a mix of guilt and righteousness drive him forward into great physical and mental peril to do what he feels is right.
