Seze had gotten a letter from Arron soon after the quarter moon. As a shifter she paid attention to these things. With the travel time it took to get to Matori from Jauhar she figured that Arron would be due tonight. She couldn't help but wait at the Silver Flyer Inn door and watch the stars as she waited for her old friend.

The air was quiet, the world still. Except for the ravening ruckus behind her. She rolled her eyes at the pile of youngsters behind her. Arron had asked her to gather the triples and gather the triples she had done. Much help they would be if they couldn't contain themselves though.

Tsallin yawned and tugged back on the plate that held bread and stew. He and Rydan had been having a most joyous and noisy time making fools of themselves in public so that everyone would underestimate them. So far so good, they had gotten 4 headshakes and 7 shhh's and various other reactions. All in all a good days work. He took a chunk of bread and speared it into the shared stew juice, startling his opponent who let the dish go. He curled it into his body like the best prize.

He stuffed the bread into his mouth and stared at Ruulu staring at Seze. Their female lead did not like competition evidently. But she needn't have worried, their troupe knew their place. They were under commission in a way not branded and shipped out. There was a difference.

Arron was within sight of the Inn now, even though the light had all but faded he could make out the shape of a woman waiting for him in the door. It had been a long time since he had seen Sezarra and she had changed. People got older, he still remembered what she used to look like before she had worked off all of her baby fat and truly become a real woman. What could he say she was absolutely beautiful he could not deny that.

He had mixed feelings about seeing her again. A part of him had liked her once upon a time, a part of him still did. But a bigger part of him knew that she wasn't the one for him. Something deep down told him that. It could be the part that remembered Beula and what she had said about a peculiar ice water hybrid named Yunan. They both had paths to tread it seemed.

However when he came up to the dooryard and she ran at him to give him a big hug it felt better than it should have. He had missed her.

She watched the others with a wry look on her face, look at those two smoosers no wonder that woman was so happy to see her brother she liked him this was a conspiracy to make Ruulu miserable. There was just something about her brother that brought out the worst in her and she didn't know why!

She glared at her two boys until they moved to sit next to her, abandoning their stew. She shook her head at them and gestured imperiously at the over long hug taking place center stage. "Look at that."

Yup she was over reacting, he nodded along with Tsallin lending his support to the lady. What did he care if the two lovebirds over there wanted to continue it was really non of his buisiness as his sister was safe at home somewhere and he had no brother.

He leaned back around and nibbled at the stew. Food was more important.

The glare he got from Ruulu made him push the bowl away again resentfully.

"Just let them be, we don't even know if that is why hes here or not we were just told we were needed."

This was a new Arron, he had changed so much from the shy little boy he had once been. Now he was firm and in control and not afraid to maintain that control either. It was great. He was not annoying or abrasive..at least to her his sister looked a little green but perhaps that was just her ice coloring.


She needed this support from an old friend. "I have things to tell you later."

"But we are still hungry and it seems like your brother is going to order a second course."

She was glaring at him now, but he kind of liked it when she was feisty. An angry Ruulu was good training for well everything really; mental, physical, intellectual. She really was the whole package. He sighed happily as she swayed upstairs.

On the plus side more food! They might also learn why they were here now. Especially without the grumpy one staring at them.
