This entry must consist of a 100 word or more entry. Doing so will grant you a raffle ticket. This game will run for the rest of the night, and into tomorrow. I'll post a reminder about 30 mins before it ends. (Approximately 2-3PM PST or later if I get some one asking me for a small time extension. It will regardless end tomorrow!) I will later add everyone to a list, and roll for who wins! There will be other sorts of games, this one just happens to give you something to do over night. To kick things off, this one will also be open to everyone! Just keep in mind the requirements I listed in the thread previously. Go ahead and post a link to your quest thread, along with your entry if you'd be so kind. As long as you can slip in at least 100 words, I will add you to the prize pool. Entry for Zinnia--- Zin's stomach was in knots; she was so excited that she didn't think she would be able to fall asleep at all. Tomorrow, she would be a real trainee. She wouldn't have to live with her parents after this... That made her an adult! She'd make so many friends with the other trainees, plus she wouldn't have to wear a dress ever again! Despite her energy and previous beliefs concerning her sleepiness, Zin fell asleep almost as soon as her head hit her pillow. She slept like a log all night long, dreaming of the fantastic things she would accomplish.

Entry for LillianLillian sighed. She was tired, irritable, and worried. Granted, to some that meant she was normal, but tonight was worse. This was beyond stressed and annoyed over little things.. this was a big change. She would not be annoyed by her brother, sure, but she would miss.. things. She would miss her home. She would miss her cat. She would miss her family, even if she would never admit to it. She was going to a place she knew in her heart she did not fit into. She barely knew anyone. She not only barely knew anyone, but the one person she knew was half the reason she would be there. She sighed, thinking of Alec. That little boy.. he knew what he wanted in life, or so it seemed. And to her, that was something she never had. She never knew what she wanted, or what she needed. Or did she? All she wanted was her books, her life, and her friend. You take any one of those things away and she feared she'd have nothing left. It seemed silly to others, enlisting just because someone else did, but what choice did she have? Frowning, Lillian gazed at one of her many clocks.. watching the second hand tick slowly. It was late, and she could not sleep. No matter what happened, no matter what foolish things would happen to her, there was no turning back. She was used to work. She was used to a schedule. That part of military life would not phase her. Her eyes watched the clock, her eyelids twitching to the beat of the ticks. The night would be long. Hopefully.. it was not her last night as herself.

Phillip Prezlocki's last night as a civilian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It wasn't easy to tell them... Any of them but Lip knew that would be the case. As he laid in his comfortable bed, the young auburn haired male recalled his family's reaction to his news. He was joining the military. He didn't have the heart to tell them where he'd choose to go after training... The scout regiment, like his sister. Lip covered his face with his arm. Chris looked worried and maybe even a little hurt that he was leaving when he had broke the news to him. Sure his parents disappointment was rough on him, but seeing Chris upset... Was much worse in his opinion. He sighed as he thought of how lonely he'd be without having his pest by his side. The male wouldn't show it but on the inside.. He was scared.. Scared and worried. Scared of failing the training, and worried Chris would follow him. At least if he did follow, he could have him by his side... Protect him. Lip groaned and rolled over, hugging his pillow.... Praying his best friend would not follow him. Even though, deep down inside.. He wanted him to go... Yet that would have made his reasoning for leaving moot... Autumn and Noah were engaged... There was no room to be as close to Chris as he wanted. A few tears ran down his cheek as he buried his face in his pillow and falling asleep.

Entry for Dollface Harrison ---------------------------- Dollface never thought he'd be spending his last night as a civilian like this. He sat in one of Lord Berlitz's unused rooms, reclining on a very comfortable chair, legs crossed. Tea grew cold in front of him. The green wallpaper was altogether too cheerful for his current mood; flowers spiraled lazily across it and echoed themselves in the plush carpeting. His gloved hand tapped along one thigh restlessly before reaching down to retrieve the teacup. Fine china, expensive, like everything else here. But the tea inside was stone cold. Lady Kensington was otherwise occupied, but he wished she would finish her business so they could go. Still, he doubted he would sleep tonight. The air was too full of change, of uncertainties. And Dollface hated dealing in uncertainties. He blinked at the book of poetry next to him, giving up and tucking the slim volume away in his vest. Sighing, he rose with leggy grace and made his way into the hallway. His hands ghosted along a fine vase inlaid with delicate mother of pearl roses. Fragile, unsullied. Dollface found he liked the contrast of such a thing being here, in this house. His feet immediately headed left, away from the study. At the very least, he could find a kind of pale amusement in bothering Diana, Lord Berlitz's servant. The teal-haired woman remained fascinating, in a vague sort of way. Well, as fascinating as Dollface found anything anymore. It was rather like poking a caged tiger, albeit slightly more dangerous. She was perhaps as stained as he. Interesting. He tugged his gloves on tighter.

Entry for Mehtab RoseMehtab stared at the walls of the prison cell, wondering where he'd made a mistake to have allowed this to happen. How had been to ignorant to not see this coming? How could he have let it happen. Michael and Gabriel were not idiots, they'd catch onto their father's schemes, lies, and corruption. They had to, so long as they wanted to keep living the life they had. Elizabeth, the woman who hated him, even she couldn't be blind to his father's manner. Gambling, bad trades, short stocks, money missing from accounts- All of it would keep growing. It would add up until there was nothing left for the Strauss family. Looking up and out the tiny cell window, Mehtab couldn't help but let a bitter smile crawl onto his face. Sure, he got blamed for it all, but even then, while he'd have to join the corps, they'd be falling from grace, and when they were penniless, broke, without anything- He'd be alive. He'd live just to rub it in their faces.
