Reference Picture HerePersonality:Blunt: Has nothing against speaking her mind in the most forward way possible. Lack of social upbringing as a child has resulted in a rather upfront way of speaking to other people her age. Lillian prefers a more direct approach with her words and will often not realize the moral complications of her speaking.
Finicky: While not rich enough to better suit her life in the perfect royal manner, Lillian is known to have a stern opinion on how her life should play out. She prefers the
one type of tea, the
one type of shirt, the
one type of .. well.. anything. If there is a use for it in her life, she has the perfect brand picked out and is known to complain for any use of substitutes.
Obsessive: When frustrated she can be seen tinkering with her watches while losing track of time to the point of sleep deprivation. Prefers her life to have a schedule.
Protective: For the few people she lets into her life, Lillian would do anything in her ability to make sure they are taken care of. She would be willing to throw the first punch out against someone attacking a companion.
Scholarly: Well educated for a watchmakers daughter. "Mostly" self taught, she is well spoken and written for a young girl. Has a fondness for learning new things, even if she would never admit to not knowing something. Prides herself on her small collection of books.
Driven: Once her mind is put to a task she will follow that task to the end without fail.
Lillian is capable of taking orders, but prefers to lead whenever possible. Her shadowed view on the world leads her to believe she is much smarter than others as she is very sheltered in just how the outside walls work. Still, she knows when to back down and shut up when she has to.
Being 5'11'' Lillian is big enough in stature to do a variety of tasks. She can pull her own weight if needed. While she isn't big on sports she has been forced to play games while growing up to please her father. She is capable of dishing out hits as well as taking them and can function on very little sleep.
History:Lillian is a young woman that lives in the Shinganshina district within Wall Maria along with her father James and her brother Nathaniel. At a very young age (During childbirth of her brother) Lillian's mother Maria died, leaving her, her father, and brother to live alone.
While she doesn't hate her father Lillian is more to the point while her father speaks from his heart. While her father worked Lillian slowly spent her time reading books, something that gave her a place for her mind to roam while she was alone. It would not take long for her to bring her books to her fathers workarea, something that allowed her to hear the slow ticking of clocks as she traveled to other worlds. Growing up around her fathers workbench Lillian grew fond of those noisy clocks. Their inner workings and precise movements fascinated her to the point she began to grow an interest in working beside her father.
It took a very, very, very long time for Lillian to consider her brother something of use to her. She initially blamed her brother for her mother's death, and on top of that found him to be excruciatingly annoying. He was the polar opposite of her, always chipper and willing to make a friend while she would rather set the social aspects of life on fire.
Her father has an obsessive dream of somehow getting his daughter to make more friends and be more socially active. Lillian does her best to thwart those dreams as heavily as possible. From a young age she has been shoved in various groups of kids in the hope she would make a friend. These events usually ended up with Lillian in a fight, her grounded, her brother slapped for picking on her FOR being grounded, and the process to repeat itself once her father forgot how bad the last attempt was.
Lillian never grew up deprived. While she only has one real friend, her brother, and her father to call family she grew up in an environment that let her learn to read, write, and be able to never go hungry. (Well, mostly un-hungry) She has the strength to take care of herself and still help her father with his business and has for many years.
While she never had a fascination with fighting, (aside of with her brother) Lillian has read her share of war stories, taking interest the tales of military battles and their mark in the past. Her one friend, Alec Scott, has recently enlisted in the military causing Lillian to rethink her place in the world. Would she let him protect her, or would she enlist to protect him? Time will only tell. In the meantime Lillian has to decide which is more important; her father's business or the one person she considers close enough to be a brother. Well, a second brother. A less
annoying brother.
