Photography: Since Kinley spent a lot of time traveling around Europe with her family when she was younger, she got into the habit of taking pictures of everywhere they traveled. At first it started as just vacation photos, then she started toting her camera to the grocer and the butcher to document everything she does. Really it’s a bit of an obsession. And a problem, since she’d never consider shooting with anything besides her Nikon D7100, and always has to have at least two spare lenses in the camera bag just incase she needs them. She’s often carrying her ID and her phone in her camera bag instead of a purse because she doesn’t want to risk missing anything. Lately she’s found a liking for taking performance photography and headshots. Nothing like helping out her fellow performers!
Travel: Growing up in Europe, travel was a regular thing. Kinley had been to seven different countries by the time she was 10 years old. For her, not traveling is weird. Any kind of break from school usually means she’s catching a plane, or a train, or a bus, or road tripping with anyone who will take her, to go see some new place. Which she will, of course, take pictures of.
Astronomy: Kinley loves astronomy because it’s one of the few things that she thinks can’t really be captured in a photograph. She loves spending nights out in the country, lying out in a field where she could see the stars and find the constellations. While she was never as interested in the scientific part of Astronomy, she was never all together disinterested in it. She just isn’t so great with the physics and math parts of it. Really, she just says astronomy to sound smart; what she real does is stargaze and ponder the wonders of the universe and the vastness of the night sky.
Virtues:
Compassionate: If Kinley was living on her own and not in a boarding school, she would have a house full of animals. Back home, she was always bring strays home and her parents would just sigh and start making calls to find a forever home for the bedraggled creature. Since she can’t have pets of her own at school, she spends as much time as she can volunteering with local animal rescues and shelters. Her compassion isn’t just for animals though; she always tries to donate to charities when she can. Seriously, if she’s not using it, why not donate it? The dance costume she outgrew after wearing it for one show could be some other girl’s dream costume that they couldn’t afford. She’s really all about paying it forward because even though she’s pretty comfortable (though not as comfortable as some of her wealthier classmates at Crystal Academy), not everyone has that luxury. Her parents always taught her to help others.
Accepting: Even though she’s in a school with a rather elitist mindset, Kinley loves to make friends with any and everyone no matter what their background or status. She’s always had a wide assortment of friends and never really found herself tied into any clique besides the dancers. And that’s just the way she likes it.
She also tends to try to roll with the punches that life throws at her. She's willing to try almost anything once. Really, she likes to go with the flow. It helps because it keeps her from having to make normal decisions.
Creative: Even though she’s young, Kin knows that she wants to be a choreographer when she grows up, specifically a contemporary choreographer. There’s just so much to be told through the language of dance, and she’s often found in her room or any open space she can find, with headphones in, dancing like a lunatic as she maps out choreography in her mind. Her creativity isn’t just limited to dance either, it’s part of why she loves photography and has even dabbled in drawing and painting. However, she was never very good at creative writing, and she quit trying pretty early on. She prefers expressing her creativity in physical or visual mediums.
Being a visually creatively person, she often thinks of things in ways that others would overlook because she's always seeing things from a variety of angles. This comes in handy when there's a conflict between people she knows, because she sees both sides and can see how they could be married into something new and different, even if the people involved can't see it themselves. There's always a fun, new way to look at things and find solutions to problems.
Flaws:
Over-sensitive: This is the foil to Kinley being so accepting; she expects everyone to be accepting of her, and when they aren’t, she takes it very personally. When people critique her work, especially her dance and choreography, she takes it to heart and will often find herself trying not to cry, at least until she gets somewhere private, although she doesn’t always make it before the water-works start. She can’t help it though! Dance is practically who she is. It’s what she wants to do. Anytime someone critiques her, even if it’s in the nicest way possible, she gets down on herself and starts questioning if she’s really good enough to be a dancer, much less a choreographer, despite being at CA on scholarship for it. In general, she takes any kind of rejection very seriously.
As much as she doesn't like to cry in public, she finds herself doing it more often than she'd care to. If she makes plans with friends and they bail at the last minute, she'll initially take it as they didn't want to hang out with her, before thinking that maybe they had a good reason to cancel. People tend to mistake this as her being upset with them, but really, she just doesn't understand.
Clingy: Once she’s decided that she likes you, you’re one her best friend and you’re going to spend every moment possible together. Kin is practically incapable of spending time on her own. She always wants company, and wants someone to talk to, or watch movies with, or shop with, or do pretty much anything with. Whenever she possibly can be, she’s pretty much attached to someone’s hip.
Indecisive: Yes, she wants to be your best friend. But she also wants to be everyone’s best friend. Yes, she wants to hang out with you, but god forbid you ever ask her what she wants to do, because she couldn’t tell you. It’s either because she’s in the mood to do everything, or in the mood to do nothing. If she has an audition coming up for musical theater, you better believe she’s taking at least six songs with her and deciding on the train. And then again at sign in. And again in the waiting room. This girl can just never make up her mind!

Sailor Scout Attack: Celaeno Ribbon Wrap!
Silver ribbons come from her palms, and weave themselves around the legs of her opponent in a criss cross pattern like a ballerina's shoe ribbons. They are not entirely solid and will dissipate when the attack is over. It’s meant to trip, or slow down an opponent. It leaves the upper body free, so does not totally disable the opponent.
The ribbons last for 20 seconds. Any opponents of a higher level would be able to possibly break them, or escape them; those of the same level may be able to, but would have a much harder time. It is most accurate within ten feet. She still stands a chance in the 10-15, but it's rare for the attack to be successful if the opponent is more than 15 feet away. If her hands are grabbed, the direction of the ribbon would change and the if she was startled, it would be stopped completely. Can be used three times in a battle.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Celaeno Ribbon Bind!
Similar to Wrap! Except these ribbons wrap the legs to the torso, binding the arms to the body as well as the legs together, still in the criss cross pattern of the ballet shoe ribbons. They are not entirely solid and will dissipate when the attack is over.
It lasts 30 seconds. Any opponents of an equal or higher level would be able to possibly break them, or escape them; those of the same level may be able to, but would have a much harder time. It is most accurate within 15 feet. She still stands a chance in the 15-20, but it's rare for the attack to be successful if the opponent is more than 20 feet away. If her hands are grabbed, the direction of the ribbon would change and the if she was startled, it would be stopped completely. Can be used 2 times in a battle.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Celaeno Ribbon Tornado!
Appearing similar to her first two attacks, silver ribbons shoot from her palms, but rather than touching her opponent, they simply begin spinning around the opponent in a tornado like fashion, forming a barrier between Celaeno and her opponent. The ribbon tornado is about an arm's length from the opponent.
It lasts 45 seconds and can only be used once in a battle. Any opponents of an equal or higher level would be able to possibly break them, or escape them; those of the same level may be able to, but would have a much harder time. While producing the ribbon, if her hands are grabbed, the direction of the ribbon would change and the if she was startled, it would be stopped completely. Once the ribbon is produced, it exists for the 45 seconds or until broken by the opponent.
