With the confidence of Tsui in her mind, Sutai giggled, bounding from car roof to car roof, leading a large, gorilla-like youma away from a small apartment complex. She would stop, twirl around and bonk the youma in the jaw with her sextant before resuming her dance about the parked cars. While she seemed confidence for now, she didn't yet realize the youma was too nimble for her to slow down with her magic. And even if she could slow it, there was no one around to help her finish it off.

That realization wouldn't come until later.

Stopping atop a minivan, Sutai struck a pose and shouted. "I am Sutai, Squire of the beautiful prncess Polaris! And I will not allow you to hurt these innocent people! You should be ashamed of yourself! Now if you don't behave and go back home then I will be forced to bonk you until you are very sorry for what you've done!"

The squire only received a roar in response. The youma, covered in thin purple hair, stood a good eight feet tall and more muscle on it than three linebackers combined. It charged the minivan and Sutai leaped into the air with a shrill shriek.

Sutai hadn't expected the assistance, but now that the youma was immobile, it was the time to strike! With a giddy squeal, Sutai leaped in the air, her sextant in hand. "No no, this is perfect! So very perfect! Thank you so very much, Miss Senshi! Now we can win!"

Dropping a wink and a peace sign to Celaeno, the squire took off towards the gorilla youma struggling in its bonds. It roared and snapped at her, trying to catch her leg in its jaws, but Sutai bounced out of the way. The crystals on her outfit created a song as she readied her sextant. "This is for those kids you were trying to eat!"

BONK!

"And this is for that minivan you wrecked!"

BONK!

"Those kids might need it for soccer and you can't claim youma damage on your insurance!!"

BONK BONK BONK!!

The youma was addled, head swaying back and forth with the force of the blunt beating it was receiving, but it wasn't down yet and the ribbons were becoming loose. Startled, Sutai tried very hard not to panic. "Ah, ah, Miss Senshi! Yes, yes, could you please ah, help beat this youma up? Anything will do! A rock or a bumper or... or anything! If you have lasers or something, that would be very helpful!" The youma roared in response, struggling more to get up. "Hasty, hasty please!!"

The Polaris Squire was actually... squeaking in delight. "No no, you're doing very well! Thank you very much, Miss Senshi!"

Sutai did her best to channel her girlfriend and mentor, Eternal Sailor Tsui. She imagined herself as a mighty tiger glad in delicate silks and lace so as to distract the enemy! She was mighty inside, very strong and centered! With a huff, Sutai clenched her fists and, as the youma turned to reach for Celaeno's delicious legs, jumped up in the are and began stomping on the beast.

STOMP!

"Do not touch Miss Senshi!"

STOMP!

"She is trying to save the children!"

STOMP!

"She's very pretty too so you cannot destroy pretty things because you want to! Bad youma! Bad! Very very bad!"

STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!

The youma let out a death groan after the final series of stomps, crystals and intricate jewelry sent flying every which way with her crazed movements. Sutai kept stomping, jumping up in the air and grunting each time her boots impacting youma body until the thing started to disintegrate. Once the body started fizzing, dissolving into nothing, the Squire sat down on the pavement to catch her breath, trying to dust off the frills of her skirt. "Whew! Thank you so very much for your help, Miss Senshi! You have impeccable taste in fashion and you have excellent timing! I'm Sutai, Squire of Polaris! What is your name?"

Sutai giggled, winded, but happy as a clam. emotion_kirakira

"Oh!" cried the Squire, slapping her hands to her cheeks in surprise. "This is the first time you've seen a youma? You must be new! But don't worry, I'll protect you! It's my job, after all." Sutai giggled, spreading out the folds of her great ballerina skirt absently. It kept her hands busy.

"Youma are these big, well... sometimes they're not big. And sometimes they're not ugly too but they all feel the same. They're monsters, no matter what! And they want to eat people and destroy things and be generally very awful. I don't know why, and I don't know where they come from, but the bad guys definitely have something to do with it. Oh! And police weapons and things just don't work very well on them, but they're susceptible to magic so that is why senshi like you and knights like me can defeat them!" Sutai made a fist and pumped it in the air.

With her triumphant gesture finished, Sutai giggled again and went about fixing the loose strands of her hair. She first untied the high braid she kept her long brown hair in and carefully began tidying it up, nails clicking together as she wrapped hair piece over hair piece. "You were a great much help, Miss Celaeno. Your ribbon trick is very helpful! My magic doesn't work unless I can get a few moments to aim it. You came in at the perfect time! This is why senshi and knights work so well together, I think. You know..." Once finished with the braid, Sutai clapped her hands. "Since you're new, you don't have a Court, right? Would you like one? It's like a team and my wonderful Princess Polaris is the head and she would love to meet you! I am her knight so it's my job to protect her even though... I'm not the best at it."

Sutai nodded fervently, doing her very best to answer Celaeno's questions. "Oh, yes! Yes, you can always tell they're youma. They all feel..." She shivered, trying best to describe the sensation. "Like... like icky. Like that terrible feeling you have when you wake up one morning and there's a huge exam that you didn't study for at all, combined with like..." The Squire looked up at the sky, tapping her boot heels on the ground. "...getting pulled over by the police! Very, very bad!"

It seemed as though Senshi didn't know about Knights all that often, but Sutai wasn't discouraged. Maybe Knights were just now coming out of the woodwork? She nodded again to Celaeno. "Nope! You are not alone. We're here too!" emotion_c8

As for the question of Court specifics, Sutai's expression morphed into an apologetic one and she started to wring her hands. "Ah, well... I don't know!" cried she, rubbing the back of her head with one hand and balling up her skirt with the other. "I know Princess Iris has a Court, but I am sure there are more than that! But the people in the Celestial Shepherds -- that's my Princess' Court! -- they are very nice people. Except for Niflhel, who is a grumpy butt and I do not know why my Princess likes him so much but he must have some kind of redeeming quality."

Sutai made a face.

Sutai stood up and offered her hand to Celaeno, noticing the youma's body had dissipated and left no traces save for the damaged cars. Such was powered life. "Oh, I'm sure he's very nice. Just a tough exterior. Like a cactus?" She giggled, giving her new Senshi-friend a warm smile. "Either way, if he really was a grumpy butt all the time, I can't imagine my Princess would spend time with him! I trust her judgment. She's very good at what she does!"

Suddenly, the Squire started bouncing, golden eyes lighting up with inspiration. "Oh! I know! I will send you a message when I speak to my Princess! Is that alright with you, Miss Celaeno?" Sutai held out her hand and, on her ring finger rested a golden signet ring with the symbol of Polaris, the North Star. "Knights don't have cellphones like senshi do but we have these neat rings. I can write you a message and send it to you and poof!"

Sutai made a hand gesturing that could be construed either as poofing, or a massive explosion, depending on your interpretation.

"The letter appears right in front of you. You can write down a response and it poofs right back to me. Nifty, isn't it?"

Sutai went about dusting Celaeno off like a good squire did, giggling as she made circles around the senshi, French maid style. "Oh no no, the letters only show up when you're powered up because I'm sending letters to Celaeno, not to ah..." She stood up and tapped her chin, realizing she had no idea who Celaeno was when not in ribbon-form. "...well, you! Regular-you. The letters only show up then."

With a decisive nod, Sutai left it at all.

"Ah, would you like to patrol with me sometime, Miss Celaeno? Usually I'm by myself or I'm with Eternal Sailor Tsui, the very mighty tiger! But when Tsui is busy and I don't want to bother her, I patrol by myself. But I don't like it very much and my Princess is a very busy lady. So!" With a bounce, Sutai's outfit made for an impressive ringtone fit for an iPhone. "Would you mind having a squire tag along with you? I will teach you what I know!"

Her enthusiasm was probably infectious. Maybe.

With a squeak of pure joy, Sutai bounced and clapped her hands. "Then it's settled! I'll do my best, I promise!"

The squire then stopped her funny business and looked about their current position with seriousness plastered across her visage. She performed two scans in quick succession and found no one with a powered signal nearby and didn't hear any mundane folk nearby either. "Okay!" With a quick click of her heels, Sutai's knightly (squire-ly?) form had melted away into snowflakes and disappeared in twilight, leaving her civilian form standing where her powered form had once been.

Posing with a peace-sign, the girl grinned to her be-ribboned companion. "If we're going to be working together, I might as well introduce regular-me! I'm Anandi Rai! I go to school at Horizon Institute where I'm studying to be a computer engineer!" From her fluffy jacket pocket came a yellow iPhone with all sorts of googly accessories, glitter and gems. "Do you have time for a selfie~? I like to remember who my new friends are, with pictures!"
