- Mary Sues can only be named after yourself. You can only have ONE Mary Sue in your fanfiction.
- Submission must be 500 words long minimum. If collabing, each person must write 500 words. A collaboration fanfic is where each person submitting writes one half of the fanfic.
- Submission must be entirely fictional
- Submission can be in any setting
- Submission must include some sort of ship involvement (even if platonic)

Once everything has been checked, you may submit your fearfiction. Each user is allowed to submit up to 5 entries, and this includes collaborations. For collaboration fearfics, simply write each username in the submission entry and include both parts of the fearfic written. gaia_spoons [ Fearfiction Submission Form ]
- Do not forget to include your fearfiction.net username for all applicants of the entry
- Make sure you include the entire fearfiction.
- Make sure you have read the rules on the main submission page!

OOC: HOW THIS WORKS!
gaia_crown [ Step 1 ] Read the above posts first! The above posts should be treated ICly, as if your student AND/OR horsemen are reading it on the Interwebs. The Interwebs is the Halloween equivalent of the Internet for Humans. There are many web pages you can browse, Fearfiction.net being a famous one, if not a a counterpart of a certain Human World one. Any student or horsemen with Interweb access (haunted computers of the sort can be found in any library or public facility, some students may also carry these in their dorm rooms) may access THE INTERWEBS: tl'dr everyone.
- All players newbie or veteran are invited to participate!
- Quest/ Guest characters: aka if you don't have a character but are questing for one you may not write a Fearfic icly but you CAN submit reviews! (see below or CONTROL+F "GUEST CHARACTERS")
gaia_crown [ Step 2 ] Writing a submission (fearfic):
- You have a character and they are ready to write a fearfic! Easy peasy! Simply create thread titled [ FEARFIC SOLO ] (CHAR NAME(S) HERE) thread in the EVENT FORUMS. This should be written ICly, as if it is your character/ quest character, NOT YOU, but your character, writing this fearfic/ fanfic.
- If you are collaborating, that is two or three or MORE characters are writing this, have ONE person submit and pool all the parts together. Use [ quote = "character name here" ] [ / quote] tags to include the other people's part of the fanfic.
- Each character should write minimum 500 words for a submission to count. So solo entries are 500 words, duo are 1000, trio are 1500, etc etc.
- Submissions can only include enrolled characters OR NPCs. If you don't know any of those characters, you can also include your character and a minipet. It can be a duo fic or trio, or quartet. Some form of shipping (platonic is fine!) must be included.
- It can be entirely whatever fictional universe your character thinks of. Think AS YOUR CHARACTER not you. This is as if your CHARACTER was writing this fearfic. It is in your character's world, fictional.
gaia_crown [ Step 3 ] Submitting your post:
- Once you are done setting up the title in your FIRST POST submit the whole entry. If a group of you are doing this, only one person needs to submit for the team! Use this form:[b]SUBMISSION ENTRY:[/b]

- You must pick usernames for each of your characters. This is their online fearfiction.net handle. For instance, my character Arel may submit himself as IceKingofDention12 or something as his online handle. Whatever you think is IC. In order for us to figure out who is OOCly in charge, please do include the actual name of your characters. So in this case I would write "Arel, played by Zoobey" as the ooc entrant name, just so the judges can keep track of things in the case of multiple entries!
gaia_crown [ Step 4 ] Prepping for reviews on your post:
- Once you are done and happy with it, you may now edit the title of your post. So now it should say something like [ Fearfic Solo ] (Char names here) - REVIEW ME
- This lets players (other users) know they can review your post! They can now go into your thread to leave an IC review.
gaia_crown [ Step 5 ] Leaving a review
- Please note that nobody is going to know who "IceKingofDetention12" is in an IC setting, unless your character's username is VERY VERY OBVIOUS so when leaving a review, keep that in mind. You very likely won't know who the character writing this is, unless you've met their online handle is for some reason (you can backstory it as you like really).
- Anybody may leave a review in a thread title marked REVIEW ME. Simply go in, read their fearfic, and use the form below to submit an IC review right in their thread:

- Reviews must be submitted ICly by other characters. So if my other character Professor QB wanted to review "IceKingofDetention12's" fanfic, they would use the REVIEW ENTRY form above, and then post right in the thread their review. They will post it WITH their username, so for instance if their username is "Contractsplease", they would leave a review with the name "Contractsplease" and then whatever review they wanted in that one post.
- You can review with multiple characters. You can review endlessly.
- The original rper who wrote the fanfic can respond to a review by quoting the review and using the above submission form to "reply" to it. This can be done endlessly @ quoting/ requoting each other. Other people can comment to people's reviews. It basically looks sort of like something like this ICly.
gaia_crown [ Step 6 ] OOCly submit your entry for raffle prizes:
- Don't forget to submit your entry for raffle prizes! It will be raffled off, where one lucky winner will win a bunch of prizes (see below).
- Make sure to use the ENTRY SUBMISSION FORM ( see below)
GUEST CHARACTERS AND YOU (PLAYERS WITH NO ENROLLED CHARACTER) - GUEST RPERS CAN LEAVE REVIEWS: These are people who have no character. Make up a username, write what you think is IC for this guest/ quest character you are channeling, and write away! They can review as many times as they want!
