Lazy-- Ysane is inherently lazy - or as she would prefer to word it: careful and attentive to detail. Either way, Ysane is one who you are likely to find lounging in the sunlight when it peeks over the mountains. If not doing this, she is watching over the village...though that sun patch looks quite inviting....
Mystic-- Ysane has a loose ability to read people and their thoughts and emotions. This is not particularly a power. However, when stressed or emotionally compromised, Ysane lapses into an almost unconscious state, and it is in this state that she catches glimpses of things she feels she has never seen before, whether it be people or places.
Devout-- Ysaneryn believes heavily in the spirits and gods that are alive in the world. She believes they sway every action she or anyone else makes, and takes the actions to heart as their undying will. She is an infant beneath their gaze, and does what she feels will praise the gods. Bergchi, the creator and Goddess of the Mountains, she believes in her heart that she truly exists and is awaiting her children to truly come into their own power and hold over the world before returning to lead her people. Believing this so strongly, Ysane looks down on those who laugh at her beliefs and actions to please Bergchi.
Charismatic-- Ysane has a way with words, and puts herself forward as somewhat of a sultry creature. She becomes the center of a circle of people, catching their interest through words or actions.
History:
Daughter to a mother and father of a greater status then most born into her village. This proved strange as she grew up, the younger and even sometime the older children would look to her for guidance. As a young one though, she was rarely an ideal model for a good child. Laziness was a problem with her when she was small, finding that at most times she lacked the energy to do anything. Her mother feared her ill and took her to the oracles high in the mountains, seeking the nurturing Goddess' blessing to heal her daughter.
Up there among the ice and snow, Ysane found herself filled with a strange feeling of being embraced and held by sunlight and snow. She was uplifted, brought up from her weakness. It was here that she felt the Goddess and believed for the first time in the one who was her Tribe's deity.
When they returned from the mountain, Ysaneryn set herself to the duty of becoming strong and praising the deity who could fill her with vibrancy.
As she grew older, she stuck to her beliefs, praising the gods, big and small for their gifts. Her father, whom was one of the council members who helped make decisions for her village and the community throughout, began to teach her what it took to make important decisions that dictated what would happen.
However, Ysane did not find this as... enjoyable - which was unsurprising if you considered sitting around older individuals for hours on end while they griped amongst eachother to make a vote. She would sit there for hours, yawning and barely able to keep her eyes open. Booooring.
