Liira felt like she had only just returned from Tale on her last trip when she was tugged back into more work for her father. She grumbled and stomped through the snow, ready to just get the job done and over with and to leave Zena again. She didn't think she could resent her home so much, but now that she had other things on her mind she was more than frustrated that her parents were holding her back from starting her own life. It was like they thought they owned her. Or that she owed them something just for being born to them.
She scoffed at the idea and continued to kick through Zidel, stopping only when she was right outside of a bakery. Food would do her good.

A yawn left Ysaneryn's mouth without her meaning it as she listened to the surrounding hubbub of the town as they went about their business. Yet Ysane sat still on the edge of a broken wall, lazed against the side of a building as if she had not a care in the world. The sun was shining above her, and glimpses of blue sky tried to show itself beyond a thin veil of white clouds. A perfect day to nap.... She shook her head quickly and stood, knocking the thick cloak that she had set in her lap to the snowy ground. It took everything in her not to sigh in exasperation as she bent over to pick up the blue material now covered in cold snow.
She was not the most graceful person, and this was evident by the slow, almost deliberate way she tried to move. This was not her attempt at grace, no, it was more an attempt to keep her movements from being clumsy and lethargic. At the thought, her mouth cracked in a yawn and she stood straight, smacking the cloak against her body to shake off more snow.
In this motion, she nearly smacked other people who happened to be near her, and this raised a few voices, some calling her a stupid girl, shaking their bundles at her.
Ysaneryn just stared at them with a slightly blank expression. She was used to this. If not her own father scrutinizing her for something minor, it was others who had no care for their words. Flicking a lock of blue hair from her face, Ysane stood up and wrapped the cloak snugly around her neck. A wave of comfort flowed through her as she allowed herself to let go of any negativity she had previously held in her head or heart. Breathing a silent prayer to Bergchi, Ysane once more peered around the square, taking in the movements of the village.
A scent floated through her nose, setting her mouth to watering. Fresh bread from the stone and brick ovens of the bakery. Mmmmm. Her eyes flicked to where she knew the bakery was, and saw it was beginning to become relatively busy. A pout scrunched her lips for a moment before she made up her mind. It was lunchtime.

Liira stomped the snow off of her boots one the porch of the bakery before opening the door and being greeted by the warm air of the fire constantly making more bread. It was heady with the scent of good food and she could feel her stomach tighten with the thought of filling it with the delicious goods staring her in the face.
She could hear the door open behind her and the tinkling of the bell that signified another person entering. There were already a few people in there already, and a line at the counter three people long. This place must be good if this was a constant thing around here.
She looked behind her at the person who just entered and sighed in exasperation. It was obvious by looking at her that she wasn't full ice, and with the blanket wrapped around her and her half-closed eyes she looked like she was just visiting. Liira pursed her lips and wiggled her nose. It was just another reminder that she had to get out of here.
"You're never going to be comfortable here with just that blanket. Don't you have any real winter clothes?" She scoffed.

When Ysaneryn entered the warm interior of the store, she sighed with relief, feeling the warmth flood over her chilled body, as well as the delicious odors of fresh bread and other wares, as well as the undertone of something burnt (seems there had been a bad batch earlier...). A smile lit the features of the girl's face, her mouth watering with anticipation at having something to fill her growling belly. But the expression didn't last long as she joined the line awaiting service. A dour girl in front of her turned and looked at her, a frankly sour expression on her blue-hued face. Ysane's brow scrunched as she tried to figure out why such a face was aimed at her.
When the girl spoke, Ysane felt the corners of her lips drop and a frown deepen upon her face. Who was this individual to tell her how to dress? Ysane crossed her arms, pulling the blanket around her a little tighter in response to her words. "I am quite comfortable in my clothing. Thank you very much." She bit her lip lightly. "Besides, it's not particularly cold outside." She turned her eyes from the girl, hoping the line would edge a little quicker along...

Liira barked out a laugh. "You could have fooled me. You're practically shivering under that blanket." She eyed her skirt with its slit and her small top. "Let me guess... you're visiting from out of town? Or do you just not get out much?"
The lines moved forward a person and Liira scooted closer to the front. It was getting closer to Zena's summer, but everyone knew that Zena barely warmed over enough for that amount of bare skin.

Ysane felt her frown deepen, and she let out a soft sigh of breath, allowing her features to smooth - it was childish for her to be riled to anger for such a simple thing. Pulling her dark blue-colored blanket around her shoulders in a self-conscious manner, she pursed her lips and looked away from the girl. "I live here, in this town. And I have all of my life." She said matter-of-factly. She flicked her eyes back over to the girl and then turned her head to face the stranger, whose expression left much to be wanted. "Do not think that because I do not cover every facet of what I have been blessed with that I am cold or that I am an outsider. " She shook her head, chained earrings tinkling softly. Ysane was not one to be easily roused to anger or irritation, but to be told she was visiting her own home made her choke back laughter.
"I am assuming you are a visitor to this fair town?" She asked, hoping to enthuse a better subject or mood.

Liira gave the girl an odd look. Covering every facet she was blessed with? She seemed pretty high on herself. Like she was a gift from the gods. The thought made her laugh aloud. And then the question had her laughing louder. But now she was feeling... better spirited?
"I guess you're right. I am visiting. But only from the next town off." She tilted her head to the side and furrowed her brows. "Had to come stomping this way for business. Not that I really want to stick around." But food was a good enough reason for her to delay just a little. "Since you've lived here all your life, tell me: this place any good?"
