He generally wears darker clothes as most of his work has to deal with him being stealthy. He wears a black fedora to keep his face shaded when he needs to and a black duster to help break up his form in the shadows. His shirt is a dark grey button up untucked from his jeans with black leather work boots. On each side of his belt he has a pokeball holder that can store 3 pokeballs keeping them in easy reach. He also has a 2 gun holster that stores a gun under each arm with extra ammo clips behind the guns.
Background:
George is from the outer edge of Motterosa where his family runs the breeding business. Growing up he had learned all his family members were primarily police officers in some respect. Each member had gone through the academy when they were old enough to be able to become an officer. As with any family there were always the couple black sheep that didn't and while he family didn't shun those individuals, it was impressed upon him that it was a rite of passage their family went through.
His family all being officers decide what else they want to do during the academy. Some of his family actually become trainers where they use their pokemon to help defend the city as an officer. A few go to be healers to take care of the pokemon that get hurt while in the line of duty. Very few go into coordinators or watchers and the rest go into the family breeding business.
The family breeding business only really breeds 2 high quality types of pokemon. Poochyena/Mightyena and Growlithe/Archnine are the primary pokemon bred for police officers use. Other pokemon are bred within their business but the family is known for these 2 in the area.
Each child at the age of 5 was given a choice of eggs that were born on the same day as their birthday. The family does not tell the child what was in each egg but which ever egg is chosen will be the child's first companion pokemon. The child must hatch the egg and take care of the pokemon until it is time to go to the academy.
Growing up he had picked an Growlithe egg as his Companion pokemon. They were best friends as he grew up and went along with George whereever he went. When he reached the age of 18 he was allowed to enter the academy. The academy was a 4 year school where he trained with his Growlithe in everything he would need to know and work a bit with a mentor to become a detective.
Upon graduation, his family had given him another choice of eggs to take care and train as he had with the Growlithe. Partially another test to show he could apply his officer training with a new pokemon. That was when he chose the Poochyena egg and began his training this new pokemon.
