Afraid of destroying anything she touches she hides herself away where she can cause no harm. This has only gone to hurting her mentally. Though her warm heart longs for companionship of others, she will not let herself out of fear of herself.
When around others she is not shy, but rather blunt and demanding. She intentionally tries to drive others away by being hostile. Though she also takes the flighty approach and swiftly vanish when others get close. XXXXX══════════════ XXXXXHer Story XXXXX══════════════ XXXXXLong ago when Shula was just a foal she was no different from any other foal. Full of energy and curiosity. She was a foal with a wonderfully bright spirit and always wanted to help everyone. She was quite the loved little one amongst the herd, in spite of being adopted into the herd. As she grew nothing seemed out of the ordinary, in fact she was growing into quite a wonderful young mare.
Then everything took a sudden turn for the worse. Her hooves suddenly burst into flames, instantly igniting the grass below her. Fear flooded through her and her family. All heck broke loose as the fire grew wild and didn't seem to die out. Shula was terrified of the fire that engulfed her hooves but was more concerned about her herd mates. The more she tried to help the worse things seemed to become. Shula tried to remain in control but the facts soon overwhelmed her. The flames did not hurt her but the ones she loved where crying out in pain and fear. Shula watched as the fire raged devouring everything in its path with yellow and orange fangs and tongues. She became paralyzed, standing like statue as many of her beloved family were overtaken by the hungry flames. Tears poured from her eyes and her vision swam, fading into darkness.
Plagued by horrific nightmares she woke with a start to find herself surrounded by a vast expanse of scorched earth. The reality of events took a long time to really sink in and several random fiery outbursts later she had to accept that she was at fault. She sought out wet and rocky places where she could hide and cause no one harm. One might think that Sai cannot get upset, for finding his irritation button is like finding a specific piece of hay in a haystack. Sai respects everyone and the choices they make. Even if he disagrees with them, or must engage in conflict with others he respects them, their reasons, feelings, and decisions.
Sai is too trusting for his own good. He respects others enough that he chooses not to doubt anyone. As a result some take advantage of this and bring trouble down around his ears. Sai is strong willed and determined and always dedicates himself set things right to protect those dear to him. XXXXX══════════════ XXXXXHis Story XXXXX══════════════ XXXXXSaisho never lived in one place for long for most of his young life. His parents were from different herds. As a result he spent a lot of time on the move with one parent or the other, occasionally both would be present. As a result he got to see and learn many things. His parents, protective and desiring that he be able to grow up to fulfill the meaning of the mark he bore on his head, started his physical and mental training from the time he was very young. Before long he was proving that he had the ability to fulfill the legend.
It wasn't long after that he received news of his father's death while out on a mission against the six. The emotional blow struck him hard, but it didn't take long for him to bounce back. He vowed that he would become strong, strong enough to protect all that is important to him. His mother, however, didn't recover from her loss so easily. Though she was encouraged by her young son's determination to press forward. She took Sai back to her herd and not only allowed, but supported him as he trained to become stronger. It wasn't long at all before he caught the eye of a strong stallion that took him on as a student, teaching him all that he knew. Things where tough but he persevered and grew strong.
Now a young stallion he and his sensei traveled a lot. Mostly in search of the six and their activities. He was growing up into the great stallion that his mother knew he was. Just as he was gaining confidence in his abilities he and his beloved sensei met up with opponents that they were no match for. Sai managed to escape with his life, but his sensei was not so lucky. He returned to his mother, grief stricken and badly wounded. As he healed he spent a lot of time wondering what everything was for. He had dedicated his life to become strong and protect the important things to him. And yet, he had been there and still did not have the power to save his sensei. The more he dwelled on it the more set he became on becoming even more powerful. Saying goodbye and leaving his mother behind he departed on a journey. A journey for soul searching on a quest to finally become strong enough to protect those dear to him.
He traveled and trained, studied and trained some more. He stayed in touch with Azrein, humans, and nature during his travels. Many years after he had first departed he developed a unique way of viewing the world and all the precious life upon it. A simple phrase "Life is Life" is the basis of his view. Everything that is alive deserves to be so. Each has it's reasons, purposes, goals. Those things make them/it what they/it is. He looks past the actions and down to the soul. The reasons for why a person/azrien doses something bad or good. Saisho grew to understand and respect those reasons. XXXXX══════════════XXXXXPersonalityXXXXX══════════════XXXXXRakai is a quick witted smooth talker. Capable of talking his way into, out of, around and/or through nearly anything. His keen, twisted, intellect can keep him atop in even the most complicated and fast flowing conversations/debates/arguments. Challenging him on his home ground of eloquent words is foolishness. You'd have about as much chance coming out the winner as if you challenged a samurai to a blade fight with a toothpick. He analyzes everything and searches out nearly every conceivable possibility at a rapid fire pace. To most it seems as if he can read minds or see into the future.
He always carries a superior air about him. He is proud and very sure of his abilities and talents. However, he doesn't strut about flaunting his abilities. He is cunning and uses his smooth tongue and quick wit to further his purposes.
XXXXXRakai loathes humans. He believes they are all foul creatures that do nothing but destroy that which is good. He has no qualms attacking and killing humans, no matter who they are or what they have done. However he rarely actually engages in any physical fight. He can even keep a level head and talk with humans if the need is there. He hates Azrein that bond with humans, but he doesn't like killing them. Messing with their minds and other such things he has no qualms against. After all they are Azrein, just like him, only they have chosen to walk a path alongside filthy humans. XXXXX══════════════XXXXXHis StoryXXXXX══════════════XXXXX When Rakai first came down among humans he was a completely different stallion than he is now. He was bright and saw hope and one day dreamed of fighting against the six. His reason for coming among the humans was to find the one he would spend the rest of his life with, a chosen. Things didn't go as planned for him and as fate would have it the first humans he ran into where no good scumbags. Rakai, being an optimistic foal at the time, didn't even hesitate to approach them and attempt to engage in an intelligent conversation. The lot of them instantly saw a money making opportunity and jumped him before he even knew what was going on. He spent the next three years learning all about the horrors that humans could put a horse through. His outlook shifted and he grew to loath humans with a fiery passion. When a window of opportunity arose Rakai took his vengeance out on the humans that had held him and stolen away not only three years of his young life, but all his hope and passion to do good. He passed a year roaming and finding his new self before he headed back for the floating field where he was born. Only now he was on the opposite side of the upcoming battle. Despite that she is rather straightforward and likes to get things done rather than beat around the bush. Collecting blood is her passion. She lives to find and collect blood from various persons/species as she deems them worthy/quality. Ever since Sayke was a foal he has followed in the hoof prints of his parents. Who both died fighting against the six's followers and influence. He trained himself for years after their deaths to be able to fight and never give in. He grew strong and brave to the point he feared nothing. Or so he thought. That's when he met a girl. A beautiful mare that defied all the beauty he had seen before. It was love at fist sight, or more like infatuation at first sight. He approached her with a whole routine in mind of how he was going to impress her. But the instant their eyes met his mind became a total blank. He stuttered, tripped over his own feet and made a complete fool of himself. To top it all off the mare only laughed a sweet laugh, deepening his embarrassment. By the end of the meeting he hadn't even been able to spit out is own name. Since then he hasn't been able to just act normal when a female is involved. Which has developed into a sort of fear/phobia for him. Not only is it embarrassing and aggravating to him he fears the day will come when he must face a mare aligned with the six and not be able to stand up for what he believes in.
