Rakai/Sharsa /
Sai(in thread RP)
I--LiveWire--IRakai looked up from his puzzles at the sound of another Azrein. He smiles charmingly at the white mare. "Hello there." He greeted casually, his voice silky.
ReoakeeSharsa: "Hello yourself." She smiles kindly and bit shyly.
I--LiveWire--IRakai's keep green eyes took watched the mare's every moment and listened to her voice. Swiftly and unnoticeably learning about the stranger that stood before him. He remained laying in the grass as he respond in a soft voice. "Name's Raki."
ReoakeeSharsa: "Sharsa." She trotted up next to the male and stood at an unobtrusive distance from him. "So how goes the day? "
I--LiveWire--IRaki smiled as she approached, passively noting her choice of distancing. He looked up into her yellow eyes and replied casually to her question. "It's been a nice day. Maybe a bit unstimulating for my tastes." he glanced down at the puzzle book that lay open on the grass before him, then back up to Sharsa. "Though it has been a beautifully peaceful day." His voice was soft and truthful.
ReoakeeSharsa: Nodding Sharsa laid down still at her distance. “Well Raki, what is it you find to be stimulating?” Watches him and shakes her head to get a lock of her mane out of her eyes. The peaceful day was boring to her. Still it was better than spending time with Alu-lote again. That little goody-hooves drove Sharsa nuts. A small flash of annoyance crossed her face at the thought of the mare. It cleared immediately though.
I--LiveWire--IRakai kept smiling in a welcoming casual smile as Sharsa lay in the shade beneath the great tree with him, notably keeping the distance. "Certainly something more complicated and challenging than these simple things." He said with a chuckled, using his nose to close the book. His bangs slid across his face as he did so. Casually tossing his head to remove the hindrance of sight he caught the flash of emotion cross Sharsa's face. "Am I bothering you in any way Sharsa?" He asked in a calm, silky voice. His intelligent green eyes watched her closely without giving the feeling of staring.
ReoakeeSharsa: She sighed lightly and gave a fake laugh. “Oh no you’re not the source of my vexation, a friend of mine is.” She said the word friend slowly as if tasting it a bit. Her tail twitched as she watched Raki move. He seemed graceful and swave. That bothered a bit. It reminded her of that fool king she saw at a distance before. Was this Azrein another of the play king’s little thoughtless pawns? “With all this nice weather I wouldn’t wonder why you and some other Azrein are taking time to explore the court grounds or host a party of some kind.” She of course didn’t admit that she’d never been to castle and had no idea what those so called nobles did.
I--LiveWire--IRakai nodded slightly accepting her answer with certainty, judging by the way she spoke about this 'friend' of hers. He let his eyes watch her as she watched him. This interaction was much mush more interesting than his puzzle book. As she spoke of potential parties and the court grounds Rakai raised a silver eyebrow, questioningly as he fit pieces together. Then a light chuckle escaped him. "A party on the court grounds? Are you kidding I don't think Valdien would allow me that courtesy. I don't think he likes me much." His voice was light, elegant, and good humored. He had only encountered the king's stallion once, briefly. Though he had been able to slip past him at the time, Rakai had gotten the distinct impression that the royal winged Azrien hadn't trusted him.
ReoakeeSharsa: Valdien? The play king’s feather brained stallion? Yes Sharsa remembered him. Well if Valdien didn’t like Rakai then Sharsa absolutely loved Rakai. Her ears flicked in their own little version of a shrug. “Whether he likes you or not shouldn’t be a reason for you not to have some sort of fun. Unless of course there is some other reason why you can’t go. Personally I ah..” Sharsa tried to think of a correct way to say that she thought all humans were scum. “a bit shy when it comes to humans and the like. The city really isn’t the place for me I’m afraid.” She gave Rakai a sad little smile that she didn’t even have to fake. It was one she was used to so much that it was second nature. Why did this stallion need to be so refined. She was tempted to bite him just to see if he would scold her in the same tone he was using right now.
I--LiveWire--IRakai can't read minds but he was skilled in reading subtle body language. Hers told him that she didn't much like the stallion. Silently logging constantly new info about Sharsa away, he gave her a curt nod. "That is true. I could always go down there and have a bit of fun." His eyes twinkled at the thought of the interesting things that he could happen in the courtyard. An slight smile of amusement came to his lips as his mind thought of all the discord he could create among those loyal to the foul human of a king. His smile shifted emotion slightly as he picked up on Sharsa's discreet emotion as she struggled to find the words to use. It shifted from amused to a concealed smile, that was much like unto a grimace. "No need to make pretty words when it comes to humans." His words where smooth and calm, unchanged in spite of his obvious distaste. Which he only made present due to sensing that she shared a similar feeling on the matter of humans.
ReoakeeSharsa: Watching him nod his head sent a shiver down Sharsa’s back she had a sneaking suspicion that Rakai was more powerful than he was letting on. Still she wasn’t going to simply dash off because Rakai seemed a bit intimidating. She wondered what he thought he could do that would be fun in the royal court. “Well if you do decide to go, I’d love to come along just to see what could happen.” She smiled and her smile stretched wider as he spoke of humans. It was so nice to finally meet an Azrein that didn’t worship the ground some human walked on simply due that horrid freedom devouring bond. Rakai even looked like the word ‘human’ held a bitter taste. “My words might be prettier than they deserve; however, I’ve learned from experience that a number of Azrein are more sensitive to the subject and using coarser words tends to set them to prattling on and on about how humans aren’t so bad and extra extra..” She kept her voice calm and low and allowed herself a sigh at the end to show how tired she was of being told how wonderful Humans were.
I--LiveWire--IRakai liked this mare with each passing second. She was turning out to share some of the same interests, likes and dislikes. Not that he felt there was some sort of connection between them, after all he hadn't trusted or had a relationship since he first left the floating isle when he was young and naive. Back when he actually believed that humans where as amazing as many 'good' Azrein still believe. The thought brought back certain memories that he did not wish to be remembering. Though his hatred of humans roiled ferociously inside him he remained just as calm and in control as he had since the conversation had begun. "I understand." He started off in his collected silky voice. "There are times when one must pretty up even the foulest of things." He gave her sweet smile, every trace of his diastase had vanished as if it was never there. Slowly, elegantly the striking blue stallion rose to his hooves, silver hair rippling and cascading as if it was water. "What do you say we head down to the royal court and see what fun we can dig up?" He flashed her a cunning smile, obviously already plotting something.
ReoakeeSharsa: His courtly behavior might be a little off putting to Sharsa, but she did so love his line of thinking. He really wasn’t bad to look at either Sharsa noticed with a quick appreciative glance before she, herself stood up. She looked him over decided that she was probably faster than him, but she might not be quite as strong and in a long run he might beat her if she weren’t careful. Worse come to worse if they got into trouble Sharsa was sure she could escape even if he couldn’t. Still there was something that was just so alluring about him that she wasn’t sure she wanted him to get caught. On top of which infiltrating the palace grounds would be a lot easier following around Mr. oh so suave Rakai than it would be all on her own. “Oh I’d love to head to the royal court as long as you don’t think that I would hold you back.” She gave him a little smile. She didn’t want to make comment more than that on her thoughts. The ring on her collar jingled as she shifted her weight waiting for Rakai to take the lead in their trip. After all she didn’t feel like being the noticed one in this pair.
I--LiveWire--IRakai tossed his silvery mane and turned his head backwards to look at Sharsa. His green eyes narrow and a sly grin graced his sleek face. "Hold me back?" His silky words questioned coolly. "Nothing holds me back, just makes things more interesting." His smooth words held a sort of dark confidence. He didn't much care about the helpfulness or unhelpfulness of those he associated with. The more the said other loathed humans and the bonds created between them and Azrien kind, the more he 'liked' them. Sharsa seemed to house a great hatred, enough so she would likely have a difficult time keeping her composure if confronted with a human or a conversation about them. None of this mattered all that mattered was having some fun causing confusion and mayhem among the filthy human trash and the Azrien that 'bonded' with said trash. He turned his, still grinning face back towards the horizon, his eyes glinting dangerously. "Lets go have some fun." With that he reared up and loosed a chilling cry before galloping away from the tree, leaving his boring puzzle book behind. His mental gears turned as he ran, wind whistling through his silver hair as he made his way towards the royal court.
ReoakeeSharsa: Shivering with absolute delight Sharsa looked forward to what mischief Rakai would be able to unleash in the royal court. He seemed so intent on causing mayhem that his mood felt nearly infectious. Rakai was certainly someone interesting enough that Sharsa would remember him no matter how this little date of theirs in the court would turn out. Personally she hoped for the chance to trample a human or bite one of those zombiefied Azrein back to their senses enough to shatter the bond and possibly cause permanent damage to the fragile little human mind that was leeching off of the will and love of the Azrein.
She blinked as she realized that some time after Rakai had taken off she had followed him without thinking. She was bit surprised at herself. Still excited she lowered her neck and charged ahead with her mind a whirl with things she could do. She halfway hoped there was festival or social function in place so the mayhem would spiral out and reflect poorly on the play king and all his little misguided pawns.
I--LiveWire--IRakai grinned, hearing Sharsa's hooves pounding behind him. He had known she would follow after him, so there had been no reason to look back to make sure. He began to work on various schemes he could try, depending on the kind of Azrien or human they may encounter at their destination. Of course he had to factor Sharsa's presence into his plans. As his mind worked on details his body was swiftly covering ground. The lightning strike mark that ran down his leg seemed to strike the earth with dangerous force. His sleek blue fur seemed to create the illusion of rain and his silvery hair the angry storm clouds. He was like a storm a storm of chaos moving quickly, elegantly towards the unwitting targets.
ReoakeeSharsa:Sharsa kept just behind Rakai now knowing without a down she could outpace him if she tried to sprint ahead. Of course that would mean taking the lead and being seen so she stayed behind him. If Rakai was lightning and thunder she was cloud following behind letting him make all the noise and stealing all the sight of any who might look their way. Her mane flew behind her as she ran, her golden markings all showing and blurring as she moved. She noticed movement out of the corner of her eye. It took a few seconds to realize it was that little goody-two hooves
Domo Menel Alu-lote. For a moment Sharsa’s insides froze. Menel knew her a shy mare that ‘was timid’ around the human scum. If the winged Pegasus knew her for what she was Sharsa would lose a possibly valuable source of information and of course free shelter and food. Her insides unclenched as she saw the flying figure veer off to continue doing whatever it was that feather brained fool did.
I--LiveWire--IRakai's hooves pounded and he and Sharsa galloped across the grassy expanse. He wasn't bothered with Sharsa opting to stay behind him. In fact it was probably best if he took the lead when making contact and she just followed along. But there wasn't much fun if there was no challenge. Suddenly as if the stallion had just appeared out a thin air a tan stallion sporting a white jacket and scarf stood in casually in the grasses right in front of them. Rakai's mind whirred as he swiftly cut his speed. He could have just gone around the blonde stallion, but he seemed to have I'm gullible written all over his stupid smiling face.
Sai looked up from the grass, on which he had been grazing at the sound of swift hoof beats. He offered up one of his typical trademark smiles and the blue stallion began to slow his approach.
ReoakeeSharsa: Sharsa slowed quckly when Rakai started to pull back. She was worried had noticed the flying pain in the tail and was going to suggest tracking her down when Rakai kept moving forward thought She blinked and took a few steps to the side to see what the blue stallion had found. To her surprise it was an Azrein dressed in the most ridiculous fashion she had ever seen. The other male was grinning like a fool and looked, well Sharsa wasn’t sure what he looked like, all she knew is that the smile the male had on was bound to get annoying fast. Still the fact he was smiling at Rakai meant one of two things. One was stupid. Rakai was clearing the kind of stallion on purposely did not smile around lest he look to closely at them, or two they were friends. If it were the second should she take that smile as what it looked like or as a disguise? The more she looked the more she decided it was simply option one. She trotted up to Rakai’s side and smiled back the stallion.
I--LiveWire--IAs Rakai came to a stop his silver hair pooled at his feet. He returned the stranger's smile with a soft one of his own. He was about to speak but the oddly dressed male beat him to it. "Greetings. This is a fine day is it not." He greeted, still smiling. Rakai twitched his ringed ear and calmly replied. "A fine day indeed." His voice smooth and gentlemanly. He wondered if this guy was going to be worth playing with. Something inside himself was telling him that this little meeting was going to irritating.
After greeting the pair he finally opened his eyes, though he was still smiling warmly. "I'm Saisho Musuko, but you can just call me Sai." He introduced himself in a very easy going, friendly manner.
ReoakeeSharsa:“Greetings Sai I am Sharsa.” She dipped her head rather gracefully she thought before looking him over. What kind of Azrein greeted others with their eyes closed? It seemed odd. She tapped a hoof on the ground as she tried to figure out just what this Azrein was up to. He clearly looked the fool and while Rakai was being gentlemanly and nice she didn’t think it was the same kind of gentlemaness that he had shown to her. It was possible that the two did not know one another which was fine by her. In fact better than fine. She could play a bit and drop a few bits of discord that might make things a bit more fun for her. Still how should she start? A yes sewing misery for that ‘dear’ friend of hers should be a priority no matter where she went.
I--LiveWire--I"Rakai." Rakai introduced himself as well, dipping his head in an informal bow. He decided to move forward and try to turn this meeting into something useful. "How are things in the king's land?" He asked, voice smooth and casual.
Sai nodded to each in turn as the pair introduced themselves as Sharsa and Rakai. "It is nice to meet you." His tone and face expressing his sincerity. He shifted slightly to better face the pair of interesting Azrien. His hazel eyes focused on Rakai as he asked a question. Sai smiled softly. "It's peaceful here." He replied quite vaguely, though his expression told Rakai that he truly believed it to be true.
ReoakeeSharsa: Sharsa blinked and looked down when the fool mentioned peaceful. “I suppose it is depending on who you speak with.” She sighed lightly and shifted her weight. She then put on a fake smile that should be able to been seen through by anyone with half a brain cell. She wanted to see how swift this Sai was. If he thought her smile was real she might have to be even more painfully obvious that not all was well in the play kings realm; than she was trying to be right now. She really hoped this odd fashioned stallion had a few brain cells.
I--LiveWire--ISai turned his bright, hazel eyes to Sharsa as she spoke. He smiled softly. "Very, true. The views of individuals are very different indeed." His voice was calm and almost musical. He returned her smile with one of his own closed eyed smiles. "It is nice, you know, to be able to be so free as to choose where you go and what you do in response to the adverse things in life." He sounded a bit philosophical, not even seeming to notice that Sharsa was trying to show him things where not as well off as he believed they were.
Rakai, watched in silence. His keen eyes picking up subtle things about this Sai character. With each passing second Rakai's initial feeling grew. There wasn't much they would be able to use this fool for. Except laying some false impressions of himself as a gentleman of a Azrien. He continued to smile as if agreeing with the stallion's stupid words.
ReoakeeSharsa:“Of course” she kept her voice low and mundane as though speaking over things no more important than the weather. “still you should be careful there are some who walk the kings land that would use such freedom to create …” she sighed “I suppose trouble would be the lightest word for such atrocities.” The last word she spoke was a whisper. She allowed a visible shiver to slide down her coat as though she were truly disturbed by something. She then moved a step closer to Rakai as though being a shy mare seeking protection from a stronger stallion. There not even an absentminded fool would be able to miss such clear signs of distress. She had given him a ‘warning’, supposedly downplayed the issue which was a common tactic when an issue was too serious to fact directly, and she made herself look week and frial and thus one of first to feel effects of bullies or those who might otherwise cause distress and discord in the play kings realm.
I--LiveWire--ISai's expression shifted to a concerned look as Sharsa moved closer to Rakai, as if seeking protection from the strong looking stallion. Then it melted into a warm smile. "I'm sure they have their reasons." His voice was calm and held a note of understanding, almost as if he was talking directly to the pair of Azrien before him. He didn't seem to be picking up on Sharsa's obvious moves in the slightest.
Rakai casually moved his head in a protective manner over the neck of Sharsa as she drew close, making him appear to be very protective of the white mare. He was surprised that the strange stallion showed genuine understanding in his tone. Though it only served to bother him. However his expression didn't break to show anything he didn't want it too. "Doesn't everyone have a reason for the things they do?" He asked, more out of keeping up the act of nice guy than actually caring.
ReoakeeSharsa:No Azrein should be so stupid. It just didn’t seem possible. “What ever their reasons. Causing pain to others does seem … ah never mind.” The mare simply hid herself in Rakai’s mane. “I do not wish to disturb you with things that only affect and cause pain to some and will probably never reach such ears as those who might take care of themselves, like one of the king’s horses.” She slipped behind Rakai not really wanting to deal with this fool anymore. He missed such clear indications of distress she doubted he would have the wit to catch hold of her last attempt to ‘warn’ him of mischief in the kingdom. She had even go so far as to say there was trouble and this clothed hoof for brains wasn’t even curious about it? What kind of Azrein was he?
I--LiveWire--ISai only smiled, a sort of sad, yet understanding smile as Sharsa hid herself in Rakai's long silver mane. "No, it is true. Causing pain to others is not something one should be proud of. For to make oneself feel fulfilled by emptying others only makes the world sadder." His smile shifted into a thoughtful, sorrowful expression. "It's like a two edged blade causing pain to all it touches it. The saddest thing of all is that the ones causing pain where the victims of a pain that hurt so bad they couldn't bear it."
Rakai stared at this odd stallion as he stood there speaking as if he knew everything. Yet his words they seemed to make sense. Violently Rakai forced the thoughts from his mind. This stallion knew nothing! In fact he was a complete fool and dense as a rock. He just wanted him to stop talking and looking so pathetic. But the stallion wouldn't shut up and he was not about to loose his cool for anyone, especially a freak like this Sai. So he set his mind to work on trying to figure out what was up with this annoying stupid Azrein.
"Pain so deep that a piece of their selves were lost. One will go far trying to retrieve what was lost, to fill the gap. And hurt others while all the while hoping that somehow that will make things right, the way they where or the way they are supposed to be." His hazel eyes were soft and sincere, as though he truly understood what he was saying and that somehow this related to the pair of Azrien that stood before him. He gave a soft smile, tilting his head to the side slightly. "Giving pain because one was once hurt is no way to find lost happiness." His voice was warm and kind. So gentle and understanding it almost seemed that he knew why Rakai and Sharsa were here and he was softly telling them that because one has reason does not make actions right or wrong.
ReoakeeSharsa:Ok it was official. She hated this overbearing always ‘oh so good’ and ‘oh so wise’ load of manure that Sai was dishing out. “Perhaps not; though would not such words be of more benefit to those in such pain?” Sharsa smiled seeming so meek while in truth was telling Sai he was wrong about them, and more pointedly he could go pass his message somewhere else.. Like up a animal’s backside. Causing pain because she was in pain? Really she felt fine. All the sentimental things about hurting one’s self while hurting others.. she just didn’t see it. She’d never attacked anyone head on and thus never made any direct enemies to find her latter. Though if Sai kept this up she thought she might be willing to make an exception. Like when he was sleeping.. He was sounding like less and less like the type of fool she wanted to use and more like a threat in the making. If he knew what she and Rakai were then why not call the royals on them? If he didn’t and was just waxing poetically or such nonsense why the heavy and direct words that hit far too close to home for comfort? Still behind Rakai she moved to his other side. She peeked at Sai and kept her head lower than Rakai’s so that Sai would have to focus on one of them at a time. She was tempted to bite him and yank on his clothes just to see if she could make him trip. She allowed a small happy smile at her thoughts. It seemed so innocent. “Such gaps fill naturally with time do they not? To try and pry into them might do more harm than good.” She gently tapped her hoof against the ground next to Rakai’s. She wanted to leave, but would not do so unless he directed them away. In the mean time she’d be telling this Sai freak off as much as she could. Politely of course. No sense in blowing her meek cover with someone like him.
I--LiveWire--ISai smiled warmly, looking right into Sharsa's eyes as she peeked around the stoic blue stallion. "Are not such words enlightening to all? I believe that if everyone tried harder to truly understand others there would not be so much pain and suffering of any kind." His smile brightened and he gave her a closed eyed smile. After a moment he opened his hazel eyes and addressed the seemingly innocent second question. His expression became a hint more thoughtful as he spoke. "Gaps of the heart can heal over time. If the one who bears the hole allows it to." He paused briefly to glance at Rakai's passive face. "It can not close if one shoves a post into it or constantly digs at it." His words were calm as his entire posture was. He did not feel threatened, nor would he forcefully stop them from doing anything. For he truly believed that somewhere deep within no one truly wanted to harm others. They just want to make something known. He was sure that even if it was subconscious others just wanted others to understand them.
Rakai just stared at Sai. He was so dang irritating and he was doubly sure Sharsa was more than ready to leave and not have to breath the same air as this truly idiotic Azrien ever again. What did he think he was some sort of savior or something. No matter how close to home the words he spoke got there was no way this stallion could possibly comprehend anything. Though it was bothering him that he wasn't able to clearly read info from him. Usually all he had to do to learn about someone was to just watch and listen to them long enough. However Sai was giving him conflicting signals. To smile so stupidly while spewing pointed philosophical bull and yet be so totally oblivious to even the most blatant hints. It was aggravating, but he didn't let it show. "As enlightenling as this meeting has been, we have things to get to." Rakai said in his smooth, silky voice. His tone calm and respectful. He was finished listening to the stallion, though nothing about his calm, protective stance gave off that air.
ReoakeeSharsa:Those hazel eyes saw far too much. She wanted to put a hoof through his stupid smiling skull. She just kept smiling. She looked at Rakai and then back to Sai nodding her head slowly. “Well as fascinating as speaking with you is Sir Sai. I fear if Rakai is to leave I will be following. Perhaps though I might see you again someday?” She batted her eyes at him and even gave her hair a little shake to move it out from her eyes so they could be seen. She’d see this fool again some day. When she had the ability to harm him. Weather by making him an enemy of another or by physically harming him herself. She swore silently like that the stupid mare Domo this Sai would come to harm sooner or later. She simply hoped that she would be there to laugh at his suffering and rejoice in his pain. She backed up so that Rakai would be able to leave without tripping over her. Her tail twitched wondering how to deal with Sai, perhaps Rakai would have a suggestion. Mr. Suave had some interesting ideas on some things. This should be no exception.
I--LiveWire--ISai smiled brightly at the pair. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Sharsa, Rakai." He beamed at each in turn as he said their names. "Someday we shall meet again. Until then I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors." He gave them one last closed eyed smile in goodbye, though this one held a very faint hint of disappointment, no more like true sadness.
Rakai gave a low bow of his head as Sharsa moved out of his way. "I will look forward to that day." He said, voice silky. Lifting his head his sharp green eyes caught the sadness in the stallions farewell smile. Things about him began to click in his cunning mind and he began to plot. Someday he may have use for Sai, or at the very least have some fun with him. At a distance of course. He didn't particularly wish to ever speak with the stupid stallion again. Rakai flicked his tail and turned away from the clothed Azrien, taking off at a casual gallop.
