The Deck

Step Rules

You may only visit this area 2 times during your stay. You can use your same outfit, if you choose to come back a second time. Post your outfit in the same post that you choose your answer in.

The ship's deck, like the deck of any cruise ship, holds a large swimming pool. There was also a smaller, warm Jacuzzi tub to the side, as well as a shallow child's pool. Deck chairs surround the pool area, many of which were claimed with towels. A sauna room is next to the dressing rooms.

You head towards the dressing rooms to change first.

Step Rules

Use Tektek`s Dream Avatar to create a beach/pool outfit for your character. If you cannot access this, you can alternatively draw your character in their outfit. This must be 100% your own art!

Lookin' good! Where to?

[A: Obvious Choice! The pool!] Swimming on a hot day is just what you needed. You see a gold speck on the bottom of the pool, and dive down to retrieve it. It looks kind of familiar. You decide to keep it, maybe it's worth something.

[B: Relaxing in the Jacuzzi!] You close your eyes just for a little bit... but something bounced off your head. You decide to keep it in case anyone else wants to throw something at you, so you'll have something to throw back.

[C: The Children's Pool! I can't swim!] You wade in. The water only comes up to your knees. The children in the pool were tossing around a Pokeball, like a bouncy ball. They get up to leave, and leave it behind. You pick it up.

[D: The sauna. I like to sweat!] You enter the sauna and it wasn't before long before you were overwhelmed by the heat. You get dizzy and get up to leave. Not before spotting a Lum Berry in the corner, however!

[E: The deck chairs to work on my tan.] As you were making your way around the pool, you spot something rolling on the ground. It was a can of Repel. Thinking that it might be potentially dangerous if someone trips on it, you take it with you.

[F: It's way too hot to be outside.] You venture back into the main cabin. (( If you choose F, this is your only exit. ))

[G: The pool looks fun, but...] You decide to try other outdoor activities, like visiting the Poop Deck, or Deck Shuffleboard.

Lenore walked into the children's pool. After what had happened in the other rooms, she half expected to slip and snap her neck getting in. But everything went well getting in. However, it seemed she still had some aura of unpleasantness about her even after leaving Orre, as the kids in the pool scattered out once she got in, leaving behind a pokeball. Lenore pocketed it as she pondered their actions.

About ten minutes later, she got up to investigate the cawing noise she was hearing.

Armi after exiting the dressing rooms walked out on to the deck to look around. Pi'oto having enough of the heat, started flying around keeping an eye on his trainer. Armi noticing the pidgey leave decided to go for a swim.

After a few moments of swimming around she spots a coin-like glimmer at the bottom, she dives down and collects the coin. She decides that she's had enough water and moves on to The poop deck to check out things there.

Choosing Option A

Doyle came strolling out of the dressing room. It had been easy to change into his swim trunks (can you say they were on the whole time under his pants?) and had simply took off his shirt and put his light sleeveless coat back on. He really didn't want to get wet so the kiddy pool was his best option. Plus he was curious as to what the kids were tossing up.

Once at the pool the kids scattered leaving behind a pokeball. He quickly grabbed it and put it in his coat pocket. It wasn't his fault the kids left something so valuable. Finders keepers after all. He then turned from the kiddy pool and walked away from the deck, heading towards a group of elderly people in the distance.

(A) After checking into his room, leaving his luggage behind and changing into his swim attire, Xander came up onto the deck with a grin on his face. The pool was perfect for the weather and what else is a cruise for if not for swimming? Well besides eating and enjoying the scenery of course.

He enjoyed a few hours in the pool, managing to find a shiny coin at some point before getting out. Time to get cleaned off and explore some more.

Aaah the deck. The smell of the fresh air and a chance to show off her rockin bod. Well... what other reason would an attention wanting magician come to the deck for? She did just get a pretty new bathing suite after all. Rumble, however, wasn't too pleased being put into an awkward pair of poke'swim trunks and his usual scarf replaced with goofy goggles strapped too tight to his head.

With a squeal, Fay dashed off to the children pool and waded in, taking a seat on one of the steps. She wasn't about to dive in and get her hair wet. But just as she sat down, the children seemed to scamper out of the pool, leaving her alone to enjoy it all. The thing they were tossing back and forth floated past her from their waves. As she realized what it was, she picked up the pokeball and grinned.

After she had relaxed enough, she headed off towards the poop deck.

Lenore walked back over to the kid's pool, where the kids had once more gathered and were playing with another pokeball. As she approached, they gave her fearful glances. Annoyed, she decided to mess with them. She whispered to Mephistopheles, who was floating invisibly before her, to appear when she next talked. The ghost nodded his silent acknowledgement.

Walking over to the children, Lenore leaned forward and said softly, "Boo." At the word, Mephistopheles appeared before her, and the children ran away screaming. She picked up the pokeball and went back over to the poop deck, smiling at Mephistopheles.

This time Xander was going to take it easy and just dip his feet in the kiddy pool since the only kids that were there just left. He blinked when the ball they were playing with floated over to him then picked it up, realizing it was a pokeball. He chuckled, remembering the times he played 'catch the pokeball' with his friends then with a thoughtful look left to the shuffle deck. His ankle was feeling better and maybe he would have better luck with that game then the arcade.

Lenore walked past the pools. She wanted to check out this new game she heard rumors of.

Genesis held a hand up over her eyes, shielding them from the sun's glare. She didn't think she'd been up here yet, and now she knew why. It was hot as hell, and she decided to take a swim.

She was glad she did, because she happened to find a coin that looked similar to the one their host had shown! If it was the very same one, then all the better!

Lenore walked past the pools again. Time to get some vengeance on those wingulls.

Glad to feel the weight of her earnings in her pocket, Genesis went back to the deck to relax. She approached the kiddie pool on her way but the children, startled by her choice of eyewear, fled, leaving behind a nice Poké Ball for her to take.

Leaving the dressing room, Dave decided he might as well go for a nice relaxing swim in the pool. He dives in and swims about for a while before noticing the sharp golden shine of a strage item at the bottom of the pool, he suraced for a deep breath before going to retrieve the item and taking it with him on his way out to deck.
