(( This thread is open for all. Feel free to dance around. It's for general use to anyone passing by or staying awhile. )) Nice thing about not worrying about badges? Gage wasn't concerned with finding pokemon that were too difficult to control, because he knew how to keep them in line. And he knew when a pokemon wasn't going to work for him. Keeping on the path, Gage soon entered the thick woods, shaded by the branches above, and he turned north, hugging the northeastern route. Passing by several Pikachu living free and fancy in the wild, Gage nodded towards them, but he could tell they weren't exactly what he was looking for yet. But you could bet your buttons he was going to be back to start hunting for the perfect Pikachu. He made a mental note where the little electric rats were located. He wasn't going to hunt rare pokes until he had some partners he could really rely on. He continued on. Passing through the now quiet forest, retracing his own footsteps, there wasn't much to worry about now with his new pokemon in their new homes - that is, right on Gage's belt right where they belonged. Full six, plus two, he had made good on the pokeballs he had been given from the Team, and then some. Houndour was given the place of honor, trotting aside the twenty-five year old man. With a brisk pace, Gage wanted to make it back to Blyse before it got much later. He wanted to pawn off the two shinies he had captured. He wanted more pokeballs. Gage was a man with a plan, but without the balls to accomplish it, he was pretty much sunk. Gage laughed at his own joke. Houndour didn't think it was very funny. The forest wasn't so deep and time involving so long as he didn't get lost. And by following his own trail with the aid of Houdour's amazing nose, Gage didn't get steered wrong. It was just all a tad boring. Plenty of bugs - common the entire lot of them, and no more sightings of Pikachu. Walking, he named the species. Caterpie, Weedle, Venipede, ... he felt like he should be rapping them or something. Covering a yawn, it had been a lot of walking on his own. Boring but pretty eventful. Just now the last stretch back to Blyse, and the trainers there. Designation, Blyse. He could already see Route 1 in the break of trees way up ahead. Houndour barked, sneering at the area - all new to the Dark pokemon. The next day, after taking that good rest, Gage was at it again - relentless catching pokemon in attempts to replace what he had lost. Back to the forest to hunt for Pikachu, Gage was about to shift his focus. His pokeballs were already starting to look like they were running low again, so it was about time to get serious about making the right trades for what he really wanted. The shiny pokemon would help him get there, yet it wasn't helping much if there weren't any trainers with pokemon good enough to trade for them. So he'd wait until he did run into more with better pokemon. Yet, with the electric rodent to add to his roster, he'd be 3 for 6, and that just meant he'd need three more pokemon to finish up his team. He had dropped off Rufflet just for this occasion. And long story short? A drawn out chase of hunt the dream world Pika-Pika with Houndour later, Gage got exactly what he wanted - a Pikachu with the rare Lightening Rod ability. He headed right back towards Blyse again, and considered HOUNDOUR LV.27 / CROAGUNK LV.23 / PIKACHU LV.25 LITWICK LV.24 / LAPRAS LV.32 / SWABLU LV.23 / #ooo41 // ProfileLOCATION // Icunga Forest from Blyse City to Icunga Forest to Route 3

Leaving behind graveyard Asude and the lake, Icunga Forest was starting to look very familiar, or at least this path, to Gage. Hanging to the west, he took a left from Route 5, traveled through the forest for a short stint, and made another left onto Route 3. His destination was the Ruins once more, to take it more easy. And honestly, he hoped to run into some more trainers. It was about time to clean up what pokemon he had, try for some easier rares, allow himself some time to heal, and well, just forget the dismal failure of Route 5. But for that matter, he did pick up a real net from Asude. Only a fishing net, but it was pretty tough, made to capture the rough scaled Carvanha so you know it could take just about anything.
