.....................Socializing - Sekani lives for the wild nightlife of Destiny City, and he would live for the daylife as well if there's a party going on. The entire atmosphere of the great social gathering pastime puts him at ease to relax or otherwise enjoy himself. While he hangs out in bars and other such naturally frisky locations to get his fix, he also will not pass up a birthday party or austere business mixer (assuming he can find anything suitable to wear). It's all about being around the energy that lots of people bring to a room. On the other hand, he rarely goes to loud raves or clubs; more often than not, he'll be drunk and deaf before he can really meet anyone, which takes away the fun.

.....................Cooking - With an accomplished chef as a father, Sekani grew up with an assortment of creative and delicious foods. From around the age of 15, he began to develop some skills of his own rather than following recipes exactly. The basics came almost naturally, though now he has definitely hit a learning curve with the finer nuances of knowing what can go with what, how to fillet a particularly boney fish, and how to tell if your special pastry is about to combust. Sekani prefers to make his own food if he's not going somewhere reputable, so a fun lunch box is a constant companion. (If you saw him watching Cupcake Wars, you'd think it was the Super Bowl.) He does not so much have a favorite "genre" or nationality of food as he has favorite ingredients: red meat, rice, and vegetables - the weirder the better. They come together to make a lot of yummy traditional dishes, but he'll often find some way to mix it up... with questionable results. Living with Krishna means learning a lot of new, delicious Indian dishes!

.....................Throw Sh*t in a Pot - Combining his penchant for interaction, being a goob, and his interest in cooking, Sekani created this little online abomination webshow 5 years ago. The content is often off-the-wall, usually tasty, and sometimes a biohazard. Just because Throw Sh*t in a Pot is a cooking show, it doesn't mean that there won't be clips from Reb Brown movies, after all. It's fairly popular now, but he still prioritizes interacting with his viewers. There's a new ~1 hour episode up every Wednesday and Saturday!

.....................Contact Sports (Lacrosse) - Sekani enjoys contact sports more than the polite, non-violent ones, and his favorite is lacrosse. He thinks it has the perfect equation in a sport: rowdy contact that's a bit more than just running into each other, constant action with a wide field, hand-eye coordination, and a copious amount of tiny nets. He can be a bit zealous (and vicious) while on the field to the opposing team, but he brings it down after the game for good sportsmanship. Usually. Other than lacrosse, he's also up for other raucous sports if someone's putting together a game.

.....................Optimistic - There is always an up-side, a silver-lining, a positive spin! Sekani doesn't let life get him down and he's happy to provide the same service to others. Sometimes it may take careful thought to actually find this ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, but rest assured that he will find it. Moping won't help anything, after all. Despite his overall personality, he'll try tone himself down if that's what the other person needs at the moment. Basically, it's like this: "If life seems jolly rotten, There's something you've forgotten; And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing." (Monty Python)

.....................Generous - Sekani will give someone the shirt off of his back if they needed it, and a lot more of other things that would not leave him naked. He isn't rich by any means, so this manifests moreso in possessions he has on him at the time, such as popcorn, umbrellas, car rides, and the like. (He'll actually be happy as a clam if a friend asks him to make a lunch.)

.....................Easy Going - Sekani's mantra is generally "if you're doing what you like then you're living well," which comes from a spring of inner confidence (both in others and himself). He is slow to pass harsh judgement and is open to changing his opinions on people -- grudges are too much trouble! He won't rock the boat and he's content to go along with the majority's plan, even if that plan changes along the way. In the event that he's feeling willful about an idea that opposes the group, he's more apt to bow out of the group or help in an indirect way than cause a stink over it.


..............Flaws:
.....................Impulsive - Life is too short to spend it worrying about every little thing -- unfortunately, for Sekani, the little things may actually be big things. He's prone to rushing into situations without giving the consequences a first thought, which can get himself and anyone else within his gravitational pull into trouble. It has negatively affected his schooling (especially in chem lab!) and will earn the ire of his lacrosse teammates when he disregards a play. It also turns his optimism against him, because it's hard to sit in jail next to the guy who got you in there and listen to him prattle off the positives.

.....................Irresponsible - Sekani would rather not grow up any time soon, thank you. Growing up means taking responsibility and getting a real job and all of that stress, when he finds it to be much more enjoyable to just do whatever, whenever he feels like it. He was a physics major at DCU, though beyond that he didn't really plan for the future while he's there; the thought of a 9-5 job terrifies him. He was lucky that his web series became popular, allowing him to make his own schedules for the most part. Even so, he depends on some prodding by his live-in boyfriend. Also, Sekani will gladly carry out any stupid prank he or anyone else can think of, too, as long as it's nonviolent.

.....................Manipulative - If Sekani wants something out of reach, he is not above messing with the person most likely to get it for him. Between an unconscious shift in tactics and a planned assault, his default methods are playing up the sympathy card with sad doe eyes and throwing out as much enthusiasm as possible. He doesn't care so much what the other party ultimately thinks of him because of this, as long as the ploy is successful; likewise, he doesn't especially care that he's doing something so underhanded. It's a non-issue.

Mythology
Tethys was the Titan goddess of the primal font of fresh water which nourishes the earth. She was the wife of Oceanus, the earth-encircling, fresh-water stream, and the mother of the Potamoi (Rivers), the Oceanids (nymphs of springs, streams and fountains), and the Nephelai (clouds). Tethys, daughter of Gaia (Earth), fed her children's springs with the waters of Okeanos drawn through subterranean aquifers. Her name was derived from the Greek word têthê meaning "nurse" or "grandmother.” Tethys was described by late classical poets as the sea personified and was equated with Thalassa.

In Greek vase painting Tethys appears as an unremarkable woman accompanied by Eileithyia, goddess of childbirth, and her fish-tailed husband Okeanos. In mosaic art she was depicted with a small pair of wings on her brow which probably signified her role of mother of rain clouds.

Heavenly Body
Tethys [adjective: Tethyan], or Saturn III, is a mid-sized moon of Saturn. Tethys has a low density of 0.98 g/cm³ indicating that it is made of water ice with just a small fraction of rock. A small amount of an unidentified dark material is present as well. The surface of Tethys is very bright, being second brightest among the moons of Saturn after Enceladus, and neutral in color. Tethys is heavily cratered and cut by a number of large scale faults / graben. Like all other regular moons of Saturn, Tethys formed from the Saturnian sub-nebula - a disk of gas and dust that surrounded Saturn soon after its formation.

This cold, airless, and heavily scarred body is very similar to sister moons Dione and Rhea except that Tethys is not as heavily cratered as the other two. This may be because its proximity to Saturn causes more tidal warming, and that warming kept Tethys partially molten longer, erasing or dulling more of the early terrain. Tethys has gravitationally locked two smaller moons into its own subsystem - Telesto and Calypso. Tethys has a high reflectivity of 1.229 in the visual range, again suggesting a composition largely of water-ice, which would behave like rock in the Tethyan average temperature of -305 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tethys has two overpowering features: a giant impact crater and a great valley. Odysseus Crater dominates the Tethyan western hemisphere. That diameter is nearly two-fifths of Tethys itself. The second major feature, a valley called Ithaca Chasma, runs roughly from the Tethyan north pole to its south pole.

Homeworld
In many ways, Tethys is wildly different from its planetary host, Saturn. Rather than somber and Gothic, it is as bright and playful as its sparkling waters. The moon is predominantly covered in water, though much of it is comprised of relatively shallow waters in the form of rivers and streams. There are few major locations outside of “splash zones,” so it’s good to assume that you will get wet. Rivers are so plentiful that all but the largest (or otherwise having some outstanding feature of note) are named more akin to streets. Different temperate zones have their own specialties, such as beaches, breathtaking cliffs, and hot springs. Because of these environments, it’s easy to see why most of the fauna of Tethys is amphibious - even the flying ones!

Given the geographic layout of Tethys, houses are commonly built right over calm running waters, near the more active rivers, floating on sunny lakes, or nestled into the underground networks. They are propped up on stilts or otherwise protected against unwanted elements slipping into the home, because not everyone, even Tethyans, like water that much! Nearby running waters and currents can also be harnessed to generate power. Any land on Tethys is generally flat or jutting with all shapes of boulders that don’t promote much plant diversity; there are a whole two mountains (and pithy ones at that) to be found. Nonetheless, it is a mineral-rich moon, with most of its resources instead being found underwater. What plants do appear are hardy.

The culture of Tethys an open one - welcoming guests looking to escape the gloom of Saturn to the far-flung reaches of the stars. It generally values comfort, and social customs are mainly concerned with pleasantries and keeping the peace, while only the upper echelon busies itself with formalities. One particular custom is that long hair (at least waist length when down) is always in vogue. Styles range from up-dos, curls, to straight down through generations, but there must be a lot of it! To Tethyans, it resembles the rich flowing water of their moon. In antithesis to nearly everything else, one of the put-upon duties of the upper levels of government and the royalty are to deal with the moon’s senshi. Most inhabitants feel neutral or even dislike towards the inherent nature of such a being - they don’t want a weapon. Through the senshi, they see their moon’s greater connection with Saturn and its universe-ending magic. Whenever possible, their senshi is sent away to “pay respects” to Saturn, on behalf of the moon.
