This is an introductory thread where we can all get to know each other better! Just say a bit about yourself, what your favourite types of roleplays are, your strengths and weaknesses, personality, age, name, what ever you would like! So I'll go first x3Hi!! My name is Katie, and you can call me that. I just reopened this thread for the first time in a year. My birthday is on the 25th of January (I'm about to be 17). Sometimes I get a little carried away on a post (like my last time I got swept up in a story it was 10 paragraphs..... yeah a little long...) but usually I post just as much as anyone else. I love action roleplays, or school ones (which I've been craving recently actually) and I can usually do up to three characters per roleplay or juggle five or six roleplays at once. I have three main female characters that I usually do. Miora Jade, Sophia Nell and Sappheiros Kynthia. And I have two male characters, Erik and Terrance. Last names and pictures pending per roleplay for both genders. I love country music and rock, but I've been listening to more country recently. I've been having problems with my kidney and some drama at school, so some days if I seem moody, I'm very sorry =( But other then that I'm pretty easy going and (I think) good to get along with. I look forward to roleplaying with all of you!

Whelp, I kind of posted a little bit about myself in the "Getting Back into the Groove" forum, so.... Here goes!
My name's Shannon, and I live up north in the United States- not telling exactly where, but we only recently got snow, which is verrrrry strange. My favorite drink is Sundrop soda, which is made exculsively where I live, and only recently released nationally, and milk! My birthday is on July 11, and I'll be sixteen this year. I absolutely LOVE animals, and my baby is my Quarter Horse named Gidget. She's pampered by me, and incredibly fat at the moment. xD I ride every time I can, but with snow it's kind of hard. I'm in 4-H, which is basically a kid's group- NOT to be confused with Girl/Boy Scouts... >> I shoot archery and show horses, and that's basically it. I'm a counselor at 4-H camp and help to pla horse camp, which gets kind of crazy. You mix teenage girls with horses and little sleep... Yeah. xD
Anyway, I love country music, and was born and raised on it. My favorite artist is Carrie Underwood, but I love all of the bands- except for Zac Brown Band. For some reason their music sounds a bit too islandy for me. >A< My favoriter T.V. show is Castle, by far, but I also love Once Upon A Time. I am in choir at school (chamber and show) and also FFA. I am a very passionate and energetic person, so don't hesitate to drop me a line if you want to get to know me!
I tend to roleplay as tomboy-ish girls, and like unique boyish namesd for girls (like Maxx, Mick(ey), Alex, Jo(e), etc.) I enjoy playing characters that are passionate about music or animals, and I always love a unique character. I especially enjoy Disney roleplays and horse roleplays, although if there's a good story, I'm alsmost guaranteed to join. I'm super excited to start roleplaying here!

Since we are doing introductions here we go.
My name is Autumn, I am from Boston but next year I will be living in Paris, France for an entire year studying Economics and Business Relations. I am Twenty years old, my birthday is April Second which usually ends up being Easter sometimes. I am a horseback rider, I have been riding for Eleven years this year. I had a Quarter horse named Mason but when I moved to Boston we had to sell him because we couldn't find a reasonable barn. It's kind of the curse of the East Coast. I am a second semester sophomore studying French and Nursing with a minor in German and Business, I am hoping to be working in either the US or the French Embassy next year. I am a big music fan and a lot of my Roleplay characters are based on Music that I am interested in. I am pretty consumed in school so I don't have much time for many other activities but I always find time to Cosplay. This year I am doing Roxas from KH II, Italy from APH, and a special cosplay for a skit that I will be performing at AB.
I like Crime Drama's and my favorite bands at the moment are "Marina and the Diamonds" and "Florence + The Machine" but I am up for a lot of different types. I listen to a lot of French Music, and German music. I am Vice President of the Gay-Straight Alliance, and are a member of the Anime Club at my school. I live in the International Dorms, so I spend a lot of time with kids from different countries. I have a boyfriend whom I love very much, we've been together for a year this year.
When it comes to my Roleplay style,I like to write a lot. I have only male characters, it is very very rare that I play a girl unless its a request by someone in particular. I like changing it up, and have characters of a lot of different personality types. I feel like its a way to express what we wish we were, and what we are through the characters so I tend to put a lot of my personality into the characters both good and bad. I am a terrible speller, I will admit that first hand and without Spell Check I would fail at life. So cut me some slack, when I make silly typos just laugh.

I'm Psy! And I...feel old, actually. My birthday is March 20th which is the first day of spring, and I will be turning 23. I've been on gaia since November 2003 and I actually joined to roleplay. Let's not beat around the bush; I sucked back then. I sucked until a few years ago actually. And you know what? Sometimes I still suck. But lately I've been having this thing where most of my intro posts are over 1500. I have no idea why.
I'm kind of picky about the roleplays I'm in and I've made a few here and there. I can be snarky, playful, friendly, sweet, or irritable--it all depends on my mood and, frankly, what happened that day. I work at Target and I'm trying to get into graduate school for Social Work. Oh! I also live in California.
I love music and writing. You'll often find me creating playlists for my characters--but generally after I create their profiles. I get nervous if I have to find songs on demand for the character's profile. Really, I get nervous with profiles. xD; I like to get in depth with my characters and I'm a bit of a perfectionist these days. I don't like to only think a little about my profile.
My strengths-- descriptions, characters and getting into the character, I guess. I'm pretty good at making deep characters. I have no "set" Characters. I always make them special for that specific roleplay. It helps me differentiate plots and get into character with greater ease. Character-wise, I think I'm good at friendly, playful, and sort of emotionally...suppressive characters. I also have a nasty habit of giving them horrible pasts or plotting terrible things to happen to them in the roleplay. Hey. I can't help it. Sometimes I think tragedy gives us more depth.
My weaknesses--Deadlines, playing males/other ethnic groups and quick profiles. I love and hate deadlines. They make me nervous but they kick me into gear. Quick profiles...yeah. No. I hate quick profiles. I can't do them. As I said before, I like depth. oh! I also suck at playing males. Okay...that might be a lie. I don't know. I just don't like doing it. I like to be able to relate to my characters and something like gender or race/ethnicity isn't something I can relate to. Sociology was my major in college and as such I believe gender/race/ethnicity can affect our lives in SO many different ways and I just don't know enough.
I love...romance, fantasy, urban fantasy roleplays. Buuut I will generally add romance in whatever I'm doing. I've become pretty good at it. Must be all that addicting teen lit I read. Yeah. That's an addiction.

Hello!!
My name is Kim and you can call me Kimu, Kimmy or just Kim (if you are curious, I am Japanese and Kimu is how my grandmother pronounced my name. It is Key-moo.) I live in the middle of nowhere in New Hampshire. My birthday is October 27th and I am currently 18. I am hoping to go into college for animation. I tend to get carried away with posts myself, but usually I am pretty good about posting what everyone else does. I love action RPs the most and I can't wait to get one of mine ready to post. I am actually very musically and artistically inclined so my characters I RP as are too. A little fun fact about me is that I play violin, bass and guitar. I guess I don't really have cookie cutter characters, but I will use the same name for a character that has a different personality, but in general they are characters I can relate to.
Music and art are my one true loves. I grew up listening to grunge, 80's rock, 70's rock, 60's rock, classical, old school rap, blues and soul. My iPod has every genre on it. My favorite artist is Beethoven! He is the greatest classical artist! But my favorite rock artist I would have to say are the Beatles. I sing in my high school chorus and am in an Advanced Studio art class. I'm working on getting some of the work up to show off, but I've been busy. I am generally a friendly person, so don't be afraid to pm me if you want to know more.

I'm not very good with guilds because they don't have normal notices, so as a forewarning, if I don't reply or something like that, just shoot me a PM and poke me.
You can call me Hai, Helaku, or Hai-chu. I'm 23, going on 24 in august. I've graduated college so I might get pathetically busy but I love to rp. I try to keep my posts in check and reasonable and I think I do a reasonable job. Um, I can play girls but I really don't like to play them outside of using them as NPCs. I play males much better. Almost all of my men are some kind of controlling and dominate b*****d or someone whose just lost their marbles. <3
I can play others, but I'm pretty sure that my char types is my personality showing through a whole lot. My chars tend to take stuff over, even if they don't start out that way. I have favorite chars to play but it's fun to make new ones. I like developed or really interesting stories with lots of potential, but can be kind of a slow poster (especially now with work, freelance work, and gaming tournaments o3o; ). I try to at least get out a few posts a week.
Um.
I code websites and I like to draw a lot.
I have a degree in Ad Design and a minor in Electronic Business.
I guess that's all?

Anyways, I turned seventeen on January third; I live in Las Vegas, woo for Sin City, and am a junior in high school. I'm a female, despite the avatar, and I like lots of stuff. Yeah, stuff. I like writing, and I plan on going into journalism and English in college; I'm the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper staff at my high school.. I'm openly gay~ But fail at gay stuff~ I also spend free time (psh what free time) volunteering, raping Gaia.. Ahhh.. Practicing my drawing, reading.. Watching anime and shizz. = 3=

Roleplaying is amazing, which is why I'm here //dur~ I roleplay boy's love slice-of-life-type things, typically onexone's since groups tend to disinterest me quickly. I can't play females for crap. D: And I dunno why, so don't ask me to. I'm a pretty shallow roleplayer and stick to the one genre I'm accustomed to, but if someone's able to get me out of my comfort zone with an interesting plot then I'm no doubt willing to try something new~

I'm Kalena. Or Rorreami. Preferably Kalena though, I don't want to hate on my name. I play 9 instruments, (violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, guitar, ukelele, clarinet, and I'm starting bass guitar) and. I don't know, music is the really only thing that's special about me, and what I use to express myself. I'm totally a freak, and I like to think that I'm the funniest, coolest person around. If that annoys you. Get over it. Just kidding. Tell me to shut up. Oh. I don't take criticism very well. I fall in love easy. I'm 5' 10", don't judge. Also. Ginger to the core. ^ ^
I. Love. Zelda, ohmigod, you don't even know. AS OF RIGHT NOW. I have played 4 hours and 39 minutes of Skyward Sword. I just started, and it's at my dads house, whom I see only on the weekends. So that means I spend my weekends playing Zelda.I really want Skyrim, but I don't want to spend $60 dollars right now. Someone should buy it for me.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, I JUST GOT A STREAKING PAIN TO THE BOTTOM OF MY FOOT. It won't go away. I'm gonna dieee.
So. Ignoring my pain. I don't know. Something that I like to tell people is that I wish I could be an artist, because they just have chill personalities. My foot hurts like a mother. But I can't draw, or be artsy for poop. I mean, stick figures? I make legit ones. But anything that actually resembles someone/something? ha. No.
Uhm. Roleplaying. I haven't done a guild roleplay in a year. So. I might be super confused for the first week or so. I've been on Gaia 3-4 years, I don't exactly remember. But I'm still a noob. I quit periodically due to school, social life, work, etc., but I always come back. Truthfully, posting-wise, I want to use one line posts because I'm lazy, but that's looked down upon. So. IF I REALLY TRY. I can get out 8-11 paragraphs. But. It's hard, and it can take me HOURS. So I average 5-7. Is that bad? I don't know. I can play both males/females, but you know. WOMEN. That didn't really make sense, did it?
I guess that's basically all. I think.

Hello, hello and hello again.
Just joined up, yay me! I got the invite about three or fours days ago and have been debating whether or not to join. Well, finally decided to do so ^^ So yeah, here I am. Today was my first day of class and I'm taking 14 credit hours (including physics, eww) so I hope to have time to post, but with 14 credit hours, at least 28 hours worth of homework and 12-18 hours of work.... Not accounting for sleeping and eating... That leaves me with, well, not much time, lol.
Anyway, I'm 22, married for going on two years. Roleplaying is one of the ways I manage to make the real world troubles disappear, at least for an hour or so. My name is Kouga-Ookami and I'll just leave it at that, though call me whatever you want. It means 'red fanged wolf' so if you prefer to call me something along that line, that's okay too.
I spend a lot of my precious little free time drawing, which fits right in with my career choice anyway (Game Design and Development). I do commissions, if you're at all interested or want to see samples of my work, view my profile.
OH! And I've been roleplaying since I was... 13 or 14... So, do the math... That's 8-9 years. Ahh, the good ol' days when people still used astericks... Now the sight of them makes me cringe and wonder, wtf was I thinking, lol

So, the names Heather. I'm twenty-two years old and I've been writing since I was teeny tiny. Been RPing...since I was twelve? Something like that. I like a lot of different stories, but I'm not a fan of school things. Uh....historical stuff (as in cival war and stuff like that) isn't my thing. I do like a lot of fantasy. As for personal hobbies, I don't really have too many right now. I'm too busy with school and work, so RPing is pretty much it for me right now. I play video games a couple times a week, but that's not something I do as much as I used to. I also used to draw (and tended to draw my own characters a lot), but again...I just don't have the time for it. I work in a clothing outlet store, and I am currently studying English ad a community college.
So..yeah. That's me.

Well hello there, my name is Amy but everyone calls me Isis it's nice to meet you all. Anyways my birthdays October 19th I'm going to be twenty in a few months I'm from New York. Um I am an advanced literate role-player and I tend to post at least 700 minimum, the most I've ever written (this has happened only once) is 3200 words (yes never again xD) I tend to average at somewhere between five and eight paragraphs per post unless I've got writers block then it's more like four paragraphs xD
I'm into many diffrent types of roleplays romance rp's have got to be my favorite, as long as it has romance in it I will always be interested in it. I adore action(Like Mafia and super hero) rps, I love harry potter rps, any kind of arranged marrige or two countries at war rp. I love rp's set in medieval times. U love disney rp's as I'm a pretty big disney fan xD And school rp's are another thing im big into. I also love paranormal rps, vampires, werewolfs, ghosts. I liek anything execpt full on horror rps. And zombie ones I can't stand zombies xD
I tend to play females more then males but if there are no more female roles and i like the male role then i'll do it. Warning though I typically play the jerk if im playing a guy. I'm not picky about pictures I'll do either real life anime or those semi real anime pictures. I love to read currently my book obsession is the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward, those books are amazing <3 I listen to almost every genre of music I think the only thing I'm not into is like that hard core metal where all they do is scream, and I'm not really that into rap. xD I'm on gaia pretty much every day for at least two hours a day unless I poof. Um I'm in college I'm on my second year and I've just transfered. I'm studying to be an Ultra Sound tech xD And at the moment that's really all I can think of.

right uh...hello!
i go by aery mostly here, and i'm twenty-one, a senior in college studying to be a medical technologist. i've been roleplaying on and off for...maybe eight years or so by now, though i've only recently gotten really into it.
nowadays it's basically my only creative outlet, what with school getting in the way so often.
generally i'm not too picky about what kinds of plots i'll do; if it sounds interesting enough i'm more than willing to give it a shot. as far as playing different genders goes i'm pretty comfortable with both and i tend to go with whatever's needed to even out the numbers anyway, so.
...also i swear i use the shift key when i'm actually roleplaying and this is just me being a lazy bum.

Oh right. I have to introduce my self. Well, I'm MidnightFyre, but since everyone here has given their real names, you may know me as Kim. I am 19 years old, born in a natural catastrophe, 6th of December 1992, in an archipelago of the Philippines. I'm Asian descent, and can speak fluent Spanish, Tagalog, English, French, and a little bit of Japanese. I've been a RP freak for nearly 7 years, and have experienced defeat and surrender to the death of RPs many times. I'm a first year Psych major student, in hopes to be a professional therapist soon. I like roleplaying Super Hero Rps and Fantasy the most, but any RP with an interesting plot twist and organized system will do.

Hello, hello! I’m Samantha Sinclair, most call me Sam. I’ve been rping for about 11 years now. I’m a fantasy role player, but I can be persuaded to do others if the plot is good enough. I’m 25 years old, ancient I know, but I hang on to gaia because well role play is my escape and stress reliever. I tend to keep an odd schedule due to my job and other responsibilities, but I’m online rather frequently. I listen to all types of music, but don’t really watch a whole lot of television, though I do watch NCIS, CSI, and Criminal Minds online. I have never watched anime that I remember at least not any I’ve seen discussed here, other than sailor moon. I watched all of maybe three episodes so if you refer to an anime and get some weird response that’s probably because I have no earthly idea what your talking about.
