Appearance: Fair-skinned, due to Irish heritage, but surprisingly without freckles. Her hair is long, wavy, and flaming orange with hints of blond and auburn. She side-parts her hair, resulting in a lopsided, asymmetrical look. In good shape, though she's not quite as fit as she was in her pre-burnout days. Adores clothes that make her look sexy, and prefers brighter, highly saturated colors. Wears only the jewelry that is bought for her, and has never set foot in a jewelry store. Loathes her Trainee uniform, but thinks the Grunt ones are okay.
Personality: Elle keeps her emotions on a tight leash, generally. She portrays whatever emotion she thinks would bring her closer to control of the person she's around. She's an actress and the world is her stage. A girl has to do what needs to be done to get a leg up in the world. But mostly, she's flirty. Majorly flirty. She hits on guys like there's no tomorrow, because she's realized that if she can get them to flirt back she can get them to do her favors, both of personal and professional nature. She sometimes forms friendships with girls, and those relationships are far more genuine than her relationships with men.
Morals: Elle's got loose morals, in the sense that she'll do anything to gain power and influence. A vixen with a lust for power, she uses her sexuality as a weapon to get ahead--and has a nasty surprise waiting for her when she discovers she can't do that at TRHQ. Though she doesn't particularly care about hurting adults, she draws the line at hurting kids, and has an abhorrence of abuse of any sort.
Likes: Dancing, shopping, flirting, a color-coordinated closet, power. Going on dates. Travel. Photography.
Pros: Focused, calculating, driven, leadership potential, accomplishes goals, still manages to be a lot of fun.
Cons: Narrow-minded, aggressive, bossy, selfish, uncaring.
History: Ever since she could remember, Elle loved to dance. She was lucky enough to have parents who could afford to send her to all the dance classes her little heart desired. She excelled and became the best dancer in her classes, best in the region. People said she was a rare talent with a bright future, destined for greatness. She received a scholarship to a dance school after high school. She was all set for her glorious destiny.
But then her life went downhill, and nothing was the same. She never made it to that fancy dance academy. Her then-boyfriend ran off with some other woman. Her best friend tossed her like yesterday's trash. Distraught, Elle holed herself up in her house for months, spoke to no one, refused to be consoled. Not even her parents could help her. Then Fletcher came. Like a whirlwind of passion, he blew into her life; him entranced by the mournfully beautiful redhead, her bemused by his dogged perseverance. He said he loved her anyway, regardless of what had happened or how far she had fallen. But then he disappeared, vanished almost without a trace. Almost, because he left Elle a parting gift the night he left: a beautiful Vaporeon, tied to a tree outside her window, an arrow laying at its feet.
Elle was devastated. But she knew she couldn't go back to the darkness that had enveloped her after high school. She decided she would find Fletcher, no matter where he had gone. So she left home for good, telling her parents she was going to become a trainer so they'd let her go without a fuss.
But she never intended to join the League. She took the Vaporeon, which she named Vesper, and went out into the world, searching for Fletcher. Elle, being alone and unable to support herself, quickly fell in with the wrong sort of people. She turned to booze, cigarettes, and men to ease her broken heart. She learned that men would pay, sometimes generously, for a pretty girl to pretend to love them, if only for a little while. She learned to drown out the sadness of her heart with the false affections of strangers. As she expanded her circle of "friends" she began to meet more wealthy people. She hung on the arms of men of power, smiling coyly as they led her around a champagne drenched dinner, showing her off to all the attendees.
She traveled the world, visiting every part of the globe--expanding her 'business' of sorts. But she never did find Fletcher. After a while, she gave up. It just hurt too much to keep looking and never finding anything, though she'd always listen out for rumors of his whereabouts.
And then she learned that Team Rocket was still active. One of her clients knew or suspected enough that he was able to point her in the right direction, and the thirst for power, the desire to be the one in charge and have control of her life bloomed within Elle. So she and Vesper set off on a new journey. Elle would gain power, and then the world would pay.
The world would pay for everything.
Relationships:
Parents: Nicolae and Louisa Verdiere. Moderately wealthy, they're not filthy rich but they don't worry about money. Believe their daughter is going to be the World Champ someday.
Fletcher: Missing for almost five years. Presumed dead by authorities, but not by Elle--even though she gave up looking for him.
