(This ORP is open for anyone at the HQ base after whats left of the team gets back from a very troubling mission, where most of the Rockets get taken by Team Galactic..)
There were some people that knew that there was a mission in progress for the Rockets, It wouldn't be a surprise that most of the Rockets back at HQ were confident of its success, considering the winning streak they have been enjoying so far.
It seemed like a simple mission, no problem. But as the night drew on, communications eventually got word back from the mission team pilot.
There was a problem, a big, big problem.
The Jet returned, and word spread, three humans and a considerable amount of pokemon without their masters had returned. No one knew the details, the only thing most of the Rockets knew was that there had been a problem during the mission.
It would be no surprise that the Rockets with friends, and colleagues involved with the mission, would be eager to find out what had happened.

Frost hadn't been paying too much attention to chatter about the mission; it was low risk and he expected Xander to return without a hitch. Even preoccupied with maintenance on one of the helicopters as he was, however, he couldn't miss the return of the jet. Technically he was still on shift... but a few minutes couldn't hurt, he was a long way ahead of schedule... but he really should finish this little bit.
By the time he had the jet was empty, and when he asked one of the grunts loitering around what had happened he got a shrug, and the everso helpful information that only three Rockets had returned. By the descriptions, Xander was not one of them.
Pointedly, not swearing Frost hastened out of the hanger in search of the hanger in search of information.

When the jet had returned, Asch had been ushered off to the infirmary. During the flight he had lost the contents of his stomach and passed out again. It was safe to save he had at least some sort of concussion. Not to mention the bleeding gash and the shoulder wound. Plus small pieces of glass stuck in his flesh here and there, but mostly insignificant.
The doctors had worked quickly and stitched up his shoulder wound and the gash on his head. Which meant they had to shave away the hair around the wound. He was going to love that.
Eventually he awoke and was under observation by the doctors since he'd received a traumatic blow to his head.

Faleen didn't know much in the way of what was going on either, most of the rumors slid past her and Frost as they continued to discover new things about the Galactic Jet they had been working on for the day. There were a few new interesting things she had discovered about its construction that she was actually looking forward to sharing with Hayes when he returned from the mission, but for the mean time was quite enjoying working with the very capable Agent Frost.
It completely got past her, slipped her mind that anything might be wrong, but while they had their worked finished up, and Frost asked a grunt about the mission team in the returning Jet. Faleen felt a nervous knot in her stomach.
"I'm sure it can't be that bad." she said to the other Agent, as she followed him to the other hanger.

"Well given a capable agent died on the last mission I would not be so sure," Frost replied in collected clipped tones. "Three people, Faleen, and one of those the pilot who never left the jet. Perhaps a definition of what 'that bad' is would help us come to a conclusion?"

What the hell just happened? Seriously! What. the hell. just happened?! Alba spent the entire return trip thinking that question over and over and over in his head. His shoulder ached, his leg burned, and all he could think about what how could things have gone so wrong. Should he have been quicker at patching up Asch? Should he have told Asch to just keep pressure on the wounds while Alba treated and helped the others? Was there anything that could have been done?
He got Asch on his side so the younger man wouldn't choke after passing out, then sat back and tried to ignore his own injuries. As the jet landed back at base, Alba looked down at Spook sitting in his lap and hugging his arm, and then glanced sideways, where the Jirachi that he figured belonged to Hayes was clinging to his head (thankfully not on his sore shoulder). Then it was off to the infirmary, some patching up of the leg, a cold press for the shoulder, bandaging to other cuts and scrapes where glass and debris had sneaked by, and orders to stay in the bed until the doctors came back.

Shortly after Asch awoke and the doctors had notified him of his condition, an Executive Agent entered the infirmary. He was one Asch had probably seen around once or twice. Like most of the Execs, he didn't tend to mingle with lower ranked Rockets.
He stopped beside Asch's bed and looked him over, "When you're able to get up the boss wants to speak to you."
One of the doctors frowned and stepped closer, "He needs rest."
The Exec glared at the doctor, then looked back at Asch, "As soon as you're able." Message delivered, he turned and left.

Asch looked over at the executive as he appeared next to his bed and nodded slowly. "Understood," he said before starting to get up. Naturally this didn't go without protests from the doctor, which the red head merely shoved away when they tried to get him back into bed.
"I'm ABLE!" he snapped at them. "There's nothing wrong with my legs!"
Nevermind that he was wobbling from dizziness. Even so, Asch changed out of the hospital garb and into what he'd worn during the raid. He then made his way out of the infirmary with the Sky Plate tucked under his good arm. Making his way to the elevator that he knew could take him to the upper levels.

Faleen fell quiet after Frost's words, knowing she couldn't say anything to add to it. She tried to remember how many where on the mission... seven wasn't it? Seven plus the elite and the pilot, Elite Hayes.
That meant that five total were not returning for some reason, something happened, and they didn't know what yet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of the Pokemon from the Jet didn't seem so content to remain in a shocked stupor. a Large, purple, and glowing green Gangar flew out of the jet the first opportunity he had, grabbing the nearest rocket in the hanger by the shirt and shaking him. "Gnagar gar! gangar! gang gang!" He yelled at the poor man, who wouldn't even be able to understand him. Dropping that grunt he grabbed the next man. [The ********' if your problem! Get out there! Get after em! dude they got our homies! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ********!]
Boss jumped down the steps from the jet, holding a pokeball that how housed the much larger Hirss. He chased after Bro' trying to pry the ghost off of the poor Rockets before he got himself into trouble.
Faleen! An anxious little voice echoed inside the agent's mind. A second later, a star-shaped form appeared with a quiet 'p'p!' of displaced air.
Once Alphard had realized Alba wasn't Hayes he'd stayed with him anyway, taking comfort in the man's mild demeanor and name similar to his own (as well as his long ponytail, which he'd refused to stop hugging like a stuffed animal.) Once the Jirachi registered that they had arrived at the base, however, he'd disappeared, like a soap bubble bursting.
Faleen! the Jirachi repeated, and clung to whatever body part came in contact first with its little white hands. Hayes.
Faleen's head jerked up when she heard her name being called, but from inside her head. It was a familiar feeling, and the sound of the voice belonged to a pokemon she knew, one of Hayes' pokemong.
the Agent stopped walking, looking around quickly for where the Jirachi was, only to find it suddenly bumping into her arm and hugging to her tightly. eyebrows arched suddenly, hazel eyes blinking. "Alphard" she said, reaching out to put a hand on the pokemon's back. "what is it? where is Hayes?"
As soon as possible a brown streak zoomed across the hanger, out into the hall where Frost was and only barely managed to slow down to keep from bowling him over. Conrad had a pokeball in his mouth that help Zack and his eyes were wide as he pressed up to Frost's legs with a low whine.
Alphard turned his face toward Faleen and looked at her entreatingly, little mouth held in an uncertain shape. Don't know.
He had already known that Xander was not one of the three who had returned. Frost knelt down and stroked Conrad's head, taking the pokeball gently out of his mouth. "We need to find out what happened... as though that was not clearly apparent," Frost said quietly to Faleen, standing up again with the eevee scooped up into his arms. "You will be concerned about elite agent Hayes," he added, "the two of you work closely together and spend a deal of time together, do you not?"
Inigo, while he'd been working (unfortunately) when Alba had left, had known that his roommate would be going on a mission. Or, well, he'd heard about it but hadn't had a chance to wish the older man good luck before, which he felt bad about all day long. Thus, as soon as he was off duty he'd looked into the mission as much as he could, but found out it wouldn't be back for a while, so he'd spent the rest of the time training and on personal research. And worrying. Lots of worrying. All the worrying. Thus, as soon as he'd heard rumors and gossip about the jet returning, he'd packed up and almost literally ran to find the ones who returned... which, unfortunately, didn't sound like very many people at all. Luckily though, he managed to avoid running into Frost and Faleen before he stopped, panting lightly. "Are they back? What happened?"
