Is there a format we should use when titling our Quest thread? Nope! Just put your character's name as the title. - Punani chans

Apologies for the dumb question but-- when choosing a "Faction" for a quest human, it doesn't include the Shinigami offices correct? (Seems like that's only for Shinigami?) Yes, Shinigami are the only class that are eligible to join the Shinigami Office (also because they're the only class that can 'see' it). Humans may join the Anglican Church, the Chessboard Society, or the HMSS. They cannot choose two, however. - Pistolsys

Are Dolls just dropped off left to fend for themselves, or are they dropped in places where their Maker knows that they will be taken in? Are they dropped off all dolled up in their apparel, or is it up to them to find it? Can they be street rats, rather than be taken in by a home? Dolls are asleep when Scarlet leaves them in their designated location. When they awaken, yes, they are left to "fend for themselves." However, they have simple, basic erudition such as what food is, what dreams are, what the sky/grass are. They are also capable of speech once they awaken, and their voices are identical to that of their past lives'. Dolls can be "street rats" if they haven't utilized survival skills to take on human occupations. However, the lucky ones earn homes with humans or Shinigami. - Pistolsys

Okay..Gayestquestionever..
If somebody wins one of the master/butlers from a FS, what stage are they at? /Goes to hide in a ditch now./ Sorry, sorry for lame question. ; A;Winners of master/butler FSes start out at stage one (no butler art) because the staff and I despise hit/runs. I'd rather see people flesh out their characters' backstories and internal conflicts so that when they get to the pact forming--everything makes sense in context. The most important part of the master/butler growths should begin with a well-explained origin; it also serves as an underlying concept to the rest of both characters' growth depending on how you decide to do it. I hope this helps! - Pistolsys

With the humans, especially females...does their hair have to be styled, pinned-up for period or can it be long and down....also with colors...no 'un-natural' highlights? Like my Human quest she has long golden-blonde hair with pink-ish red highlights that can be done to be somewhat natural looking maybe, but would still be highlights of a different color....Im thinking that might be a no? If I remember correctly, the popular method of hairdressing for girls was simple; the style wasn't relevant so long as the hair was tied up or pinned up. Realistically, I don't think they had highlights back then, though I know that some peoples' hair appear to have "natural" highlights. I'd discourage it for the sake of hairdressing technology at the time though. So no, I don't think you should give her pink highlights. - Pistolsys

I have a Kuroshitsuji OC who is a shinigami. Am I allowed to quest for her, or are we only allowed to quest for humans? Would it be possible to quest for her as a human and then later have her die so that she can be reborn as a shinigami? No, you can only apply as a human. Aside from that, we do not know if there are any female shinigami at all or the nature of their birth. - Punani chans

This might seem like a stupid question, so forgive me if it is. xD;; But for the ORP - we can only RP right now in it as regular humans, right? You may participate in the ORP if your quested human has been meta stamped by one of the admins; this means that we've read over your profile and see little wrong in it. You may not post in the ORP if you did not quest for a human that has been stamped. - PistolsysAh, awesome, thanks so much! <3

I'm pretty sure this is a stupid question. But how do flatsales work in this shop? Do you just claim one randomly and pay the fee, or is there more you have to do? First you pick out which one you want (sapphire, emerald, etc) and then you fill out the profile provided (including the prompt). After that, you PM your entry to the mule. If you're chosen as the winner, you pay the fee to the mule in a trade. - Punani chans

Anozurr question that is probably stupid: for the flatsales of master/butler, is it possible to have one person be the human and a friend to be the butler, or would that be too complicated since I know you guys look down upon hit and runs that might happen due to separation of the partnership? No. Unless it is a partner prompt, one person has to play the master and butler. - Punani chans

When it comes to the human from a master/butler angle, are they to be upper class? Or is it okay to keep them at middle/working class, even with a butler?
...If that makes sense. orzThat's fine. You can be any class! - Punani chans

How do you guys feel about the idea of possession? Like..not from the demon butler themselves, but other 'evil spirits'... and before a human gets their butler/partner. /Curiosity killed the Mattie!Kitty. o 3oWhatever paranormal experience you wish to input is fine, we're generally more concerned on how you execute them. It doesn't matter what kind of paranormal encounter anyone wishes to use for their entries or human quests as long as they are well written and well explained. Personally, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a few proficient writers proofread your idea before you submit. Superstition is a complex, yet interesting subject to write about and use as a concept--but if written poorly, will be hard for us to empathize with. Just be sure to be thorough and sensible about it! (: - Pistolsys

Are companion characters generally supposed to be belonging to the same owner (such as in the demon/master case, in which it seems to be absolutely necessary) or are there rare instances where companions can belong to different people, or are the cases about even? Also, with a co-owned pet, is it possible for one person to play the demon and one person to play the human in human/demon contracts? If this is the case, does this count toward the two-character limit, or could two people co-own two pets and play one side of each pair? EDIT: I just saw that it was mentioned earlier that the same person has to play the master and butler, but then how are pets co-owned in this shop? I believe I saw that co-ownership was allowed. Is it or is it not possible to somehow obtain a female shinigami? I know Punani chans mentioned in her reply to my last question that 'we do not know if there are any female shinigami at all or the nature of their birth'. However, in the Shinigami FAQ, it mentioned 'his/her' implying that shinigami can be female in this shop. Is that true? Also, when Ronald mentioned talking to girls at the office who gave him his title, doesn't that imply that there are female shinigami, even if they do not exist in the YML world? And lastly, while the anime didn't mention much about Shinigami, I understand that there was a musical called The Most Beautiful Death in the World where they introduced two more male shinigami with a regular saw and a modern scythe. As William has a pruning pole, Grell has a chainsaw, and Ronald has a lawnmower, do all shinigami weapons in the YML have to be gardening tools to fit with the theme? It seemed to say in the Kuroshitsuji wiki that all death scythes are gardening tools of some form or other because scythes themselves were originally gardening tools. Also, what are the restrictions for death scythes, such as the restrictions that Grell evidently overstepped? While things like lawnmowers and chainsaws weren't appropriate for the time period, you wouldn't allow things like lazer cutters, would you? What are the limits on that, both for regulated death scythes and anti-scythes of corrupt shinigami that are no longer with the offices? Sorry, more questions. Shinigami sidekicks. You can only get them if you have no companions and you are a shinigami mentor, right? Does that mean you cannot reach the shinigami mentor stage with a companion and then gain a sidekick? What if the shinigami's companion does not belong to you but the sidekick does? Does that count toward the two-character limit, even if the shinigami now essentially has two companions - a main companion and a sidekick? Does your shinigami's sidekick have to belong to you? Can only shinigami sidekicks become enlightened? HMSS members are presumed to have prior knowledge of paranormal beings even if they aren't partnered with one themselves, correct? Why is this? Can members of other factions like the Chessboard Society also have certain prior knowledge of the beings even if they have no proof to show the public? What if they do have proof? Can they show it at the risk of being arrested by HMSS? I don't believe we said anywhere that co-ownership was allowed unless otherwise stated. Again, we do not know. Even if Ronald mentioned girls at the office, there hasn't been visual proof of a female shinigami, so until we see evidence otherwise, we aren't going to allow them. Shinigami scythes are based upon the shinigami's human occupation. They do not only have to be based upon gardening tools. Obviously there aren't any jobs involving chainsaws or laser cutters (that couldn't be accomplished with a different tool), so there wouldn't be any scythes like that. You can only gain a sidekick after reaching mentor stage and killing off your companion. Yes, your shinigami sidekick has to belong to you and only they can become enlightened. Yes that is correct, the HMSS wouldn't recruit you otherwise. Other faction members can have knowledge as well. I wouldn't advise showing off this proof since yes, it would result in an arrest and coverup by the HMSS. - Punani chans
