Mickenzie Logs 4.28.11 - It's been a time living with twin boys. Considering the other parent is my own twin? It often gets confusing with we have company over. But, Logan is so smart... When he applies himself. I'm afraid he might have ADD, but it's way to early to tell. He's only a kid and they always have short attention spans. The other day, Logan almost swallowed a marble. Talk about a panic attack. Leaned was screaming, Logan was turning read, and me and Matthew were freaking out. I patted his back and tried to help him dislodge it. He ended up hacking it up and I had to take my tranq for my heart, I think Matt did, too. Logan scraped his knees and fell. He was hovering, something he recently discovered he could do, when he was scared by Leander screaming about something or other, and he fell right on his knees and face. I can honestly say, it's never boring at our place. 6.1.11 - I'm going on vacation with Matt for a couple of days. Just us two. We've hired a nanny/sitter while we're gone, but I'm still going to worry. I hope the trip turns out OK... I hope the boys are OK with us leaving. They haven't been separated from us since we brought them home. 9.2.11 - The vacation went wonderful and then life got hectic. I almost lost my internet company, and I somehow managed to take care of it without my brother noticing. Mainly because of late night phone calls and the fact I almost completely ignored him at night. Logan is doing wonderfully. He's starting to act less snooty and more like his brother. Not only personality but look wise. His wings are getting bigger, and he's getting a lot taller, too. He's such a great kid. I'm glad he's settling down. He seems a lot happier. I found a letter from the place I adopted the boys from in the mail box.... Matthew had one as well, and well.. It seems the boys are fixing to hit a big growth spurt. I filled out everything and sent it back. Matthew insisted on writing an actual letter, but that seems a bit weird to me. Then again, nothing about us is exactly normal.

This.... this was not going to be an easy task for Kenzie. He didn't know how to teach, but he supposed he could. Biting on his lip, he looked to his twin and other son, who were busy learning away and then back to Logan, who was sleeping. Logan looked so adorable when he was sleeping, or eating, well.... awake, anyway. Logan was adorable all the time. Running his pale hand through Logan's soft hair, he waited for the boy to wake up.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He settled down on the couch in their loft apartment and sighed. Logan had just woken up form his nap, had a snack and was sitting with him on the couch with a sippy cup full of juice.
"OK, Logan," Mickenzie said, clearing his throat a bit as he took out some big, white cards with letters, numbers, and a colorful picture of something on them. Learning flash cards. Maybe since Logan was stronger than most, he'd be smarter too! He had no idea how genes worked. "Logan, we're I'm going to show you these cards, OK? I want you to say what I say."
Holding up the first card, it had a red number 1 on the front next to a kitten. "Look, Logan."
The boy wasn't really interested. He was tired and happy with his juice, wings flicking as he looked around for his twin and other dad. "'ander?"
"No, Leander's with Papa Matt. Look, see the kitten?"
"Kitten!" he giggled and looked at the card, head tilting to the side. "Kitty!"
"That's right, it's a kitty! Now, how many kittens are on this card?" He paused, looking to Logan like he held the answer. ".....Right. OK, there is one kitten. One. Say it, too, Logan! One."
"Kitty." He giggled and reached for the card.
Mickenzie had to sigh at that and rubbed his face. Naturally the cards were kept away from him, but if this was what it was going to be like learning the basics... "One."
"Wuuuuuun." Logan giggled and let his wings flutter, eyes getting wider.
"Very good! See this card? How many turtles are on it?" Again he paused and snorted. "There are two turtles, Logan. Two. Say two?"
"Two! Tuhtles. Two tuhtles."
"Turtles."
"T-UH-tles."
".....close enough."
This was the pace for a whole month. Every day for an hour, he sat down with Logan, teaching him the alphabet and his numbers, even the basic colors. It was a headache and both, parent and child, was exhausted at the end of each lesson.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mickenzie came home one day, from a day of office meetings to find Logan sitting there with Leander, both of them singing the alphabet like he taught him. It made Mickenzie's heart burst and a proud feeling swept over him.
That night, all four of them went out for pizza and ice cream.

It would be on a Saturday that you open your mail box (if you have one) and notice there is a rather thick envelope stuffed in there. There is no postage stamp and a very vague return address. But you recognize the font and the company's name. 'Seven of Seven Inc' scrawled in majestic font across the upper left hand corner. As you open it, you may strangely find yourself drawn to the letter, there is a mass of notes inside. They read as follows:
Letter Congratulations! You have managed to succeed in raising your child. (IE: Not killing him or her or getting killed yourself. Haha we kid of course.) We would like an update from you on the following: Guardians Name: Child's Name: Sin: Virtue: Gender: Current Attitude: Likes: Dislikes: Any abnormal growths: (if any, example: Feathers molting, horns growing larger, scars ) Current hair style: Current clothing preferences: Dominant celestial trait: (The sin or virtue) Please summarize in your own words how difficult or easy it was taking care of your child. Did you manage to care for them in a kindly fashion? Or were you forced to discipline them? As well do not be alarmed if you suddenly find your child achieving a massive growth spurt in the next little while. We are finding that the children from our facility have strange growing patterns and are rather unpredictable. Although please let us know if anything unexpected occurs. Sincerely the technicians from Seven of Seven Inc. Ps. Please just leave your letter back in your mail box one you have completed it our courier will pick it up. Thank you.
You would notice the letter seems overly friendly...strange since the scientist were so ...cold before.
(Just take the from Guardians name to Dominant Celestial trait and pm it to the mule, the summarization doesn't have to be long just have fun with it.)
