The icicle glisten in the soft sunlight, shining from the slowly rising sun in the horizon. With a soft clink, the thin ice broke from the branches of the tree and fell to the ground below, shattering into a thousand pieces. But soon after the icicle fell, a new one formed in it's place as a figure passed by.

It normally doesn't snow much around these parts, but winter had fully descended upon a small area further to the west side of Durem's Cave North, where it is said a pink haired young woman was last seen in an isolated cabin, far away from human civilization. The trees are bare, with hundreds, probably even thousands of icicles hanging on them from the winter rainfall. The sight was something to behold as the icicles glisten in the soft sunlight. But there were also something sinister about the entire scenery, as the bark of the trees were covered in ice, so were the stones on the ground. The entire area within a quarter of a mile radius had frozen solid, and aside from the single entity floating in the middle of ice land, nothing alive can be seen in sight, not even the slightest hint of tree moss.

An eerie chill surrounded the leg-less figure, his skin pale as ice, paler than it had ever been. His eyes an ice cold blue, a bright blue that could almost pierce through one's soul. His wing span so huge and powerful, every strong flap sending chilling air rolling into a distance. The most distinguishable feature of all though, was the smooth ice helm framing his once boyish face, now contorted with hate and rage. The three prong horns at the tip of the helm vaguely resembling a crown.

"Mine..." He whispered softly, his voice sounded slightly ethereal. "...someone that is mine... and mine only." A chilling breath escaped his lips as he spoke. The imagery of one black and red Raevan came into mind as his icy blue eyes looked into the distance, in the direction where the sun is slowly rising. "Gaia..." That is where he would be able to find him... the person that belongs to him, and him only.

Slowly he began to move, inching towards the city in the distance. A trail of ice formed wherever he passed, forming a trail of ice behind the winged figure. "Mine... mine..." The words were repeated like a mantra as he moved, like it was the fuel that keeps his newly awaken anger burning, the fuel that keeps him moving forward. He had a mission, and he will make damn sure that no one will get in his way until it is done. Not Aphismet, not Kyou, and definitely not... Chloe.

Back in the area where he came from, a gust of cold winter wind, made colder by the ice, blew through the frozen trees and the hanging icicles. A few small shards of icicles dropped to the ground with a soft tinkle, the icicles no longer forming back now that the Raevan is gone. A half frozen cabin sat in a small clearing in the area, it's door ajar and frozen in place. The strong wind blew into the cabin, creating an eerie howling sound in the emptiness within. A thin icicle hanging on the door frame shook from the force of the wind, and finally snapped and fell to the wooden floor below. But aside from that, nothing moved inside the cabin. It was like... the life was taken out of the cabin and whoever that used to live within, and what remained was a dead, abandoned cabin, forgotten by time and dismissed by civilization.

A dead body encased in a block of ice floated idly in the dark waters at the port of Gambino. A poor victim of the scorned ice Raevan, just because he was in the way.

Roux had went to the Delaran's house in the Durems Cave North earlier, having stayed there before and remembering the location. But to his dismay the house was emptied and abandoned, not a single soul was in sight. In his rage, he had frozen half of the house and a small portion of the swarm over, trapping a few small swarm creatures in ice.

The only next logical destination he could think of was the Lab, oh yes. Surely the reliable and kind Dr Kyou would have the Delaran's new address, plus... if Kyou were to find out what he was about to do, it wouldn't be very good. He knew what the kind hearted doctor is capable of, he could feel the bronze charm, cold to the touch, still resting against his skin underneath his clothes. In order to achieve his goal, he must first incapacitate the good doctor, getting the trouble out of the way before it becomes a problem. Oh yes, definitely. A crooked smile spread across his cold lips as he delighted himself with the thought, the temperature dropping a few degrees around him.

The night was cold and long, and when Roux finally arrived on Gambino Isle, it was nearly four in the morning. Most of the public transportations had stopped working by now, but that doesn't bother him. He had made it this far on his own after all, what's a few more miles? He remembered the bus route that Chloe took to work every morning, when he would follow along. He just needed to follow that route by recognizing the places that it passed by, and he would be at the Lab soon.

With a mighty flap of his wings, he lifted himself higher from the ground and started to follow the bus route. Cold blue eyes scouring his surroundings for familiar locations and signs. Right turning here, the Italian restaurant around the corner, the old bookstore that Chloe likes, the casino in the distance, and of course, the Market street that he sometimes visit with Chloe. A flicker of something flashed in his cold eyes as the numerous memories of Chloe surfaced in his mind, like a hint of sadness. But it quickly disappeared as he spotted the building beyond the Market street. Ah, that familiar form, how nostalgic. Quietly he landed a small distance from the Lab's main entrance, folding his wings neatly on his back as he looked up at the building.

"This would be fun." He whispered coldly as a crooked smile twisted his features.

"Good morning Gambino, my name is Ellen Boaz and you are watching Gambino flash news. A bizarre scene had emerged over night on the western edge of Gambino Isle. A building which is widely known as the "Lab 305" by the locals was frozen into an ice castle overnight. There are currently a few speculations, but as of now, there weren't any solid explanation to how such a bizarre thing could happen in such a short amount of time. It is believe that there are two individuals that resides in the building, their fates are currently unknown. Officials had been trying their best to break through the thick ice layer surrounding the building, but work had proven to be difficult in this cold weather. And reports are saying that somehow, the hot water sprays that the firemen were using to attempt to melt the ice had somehow frozen upon contact as well. It is as if there is an ethereal force that caused this strange scene, and they are not ready to let go yet."

"Well I'll be damned, the young man living in that building frequents this cafe a lot." The elderly barista said as he poured a cup of espresso for the young businessman sitting nearest to the television. "He likes my espresso a lot, and the chocolate mousse cakes too." His face crinkled into a fond chuckle at the memories. Oh yes for a good long while, the dark haired man will visit his cafe at least once a week for cake. The smile on his face faded though as he watched the video imagery of the frozen building on the television. "I hope he's still alive in there..." Slowly he shifted the focus of his old blue eyes a little, and looked beyond the television set. From his view, he could spot the edge of the frozen building a little in the distance, which is located in just a walking distance away from his cafe on Market street. What he could not see was the curious crowd gathering outside the frozen building, and the culprit who just flew off from the roof of the structure.

Of all nights, he chose this particular night to sleep. On average Lazarus sleeps once a week, because for one he doesn't really need it as long as he feeds, and secondly he doesn't like to sleep because his horns are always in the way. However, he would still rest to pass the time quicker on occasion.

Still, he chose to rest on this particular fated night.

Lazarus did not notice what had happened until it was too late, until the ice had already crept under his door and along his walls. Being huddled up under layers of blanket to keep himself warm in the season of winter, his body wasn't as responsive to his surrounding's temperature change. It wasn't until he heard a crack as the ice crawl over his window that he woke up. His eyes were wide as he stare at the source of the sound - the glass window, slowly freezing over in ice. The glass gave way to the intense cold and cracked. Crimson eyes followed the trail of the ice along the walls like spider web as his breath comes out in faint puffs of fog. Subconsciously, he wrapped the blankets around him tighter as his gaze finally settled on the door, where the freezing was apparently the worst. It almost looked like a waterfall just froze over his room.

"What the hell..." Was the only words that he could form in his stunned state. This all looked like a dream, is he dreaming? To test that theory out, he slapped himself experimentally on the face. "OW!!" Okay, maybe a bit too hard. But the pain proves that this is real... right? If that is so... this is truly Lazarus's nightmare come true.

---------------------------------------------------------------

A few hours had passed since Lazarus woke up from his slumber. A hint of sunlight can be seen from the windows, but the ice was so thick, inside and out, that only a small amount of light could penetrate through, leaving the room in semi-darkness. The clocks in the room was frozen over as well, so Lazarus had no idea how long had it been since he was trapped in his room, although it felt like forever.

At least the ice seemed to had stopped growing thankfully.

Partially worried over Kyou's safety, but more motivated to get out of here himself, he had tried a few different attempts to break through the ice wall. The first one was to melt the ice. Since he couldn't set ice on fire, he had chosen to set fire on some of his magazines that were untouched and even a blanket or two, then burning them near the ice. Unfortunately, the melted parts just seemed to freeze up again within seconds. Plus it just seemed like it would take forever for him to melt his way through.

The second way was to chip through the ice. With limited tools available, Lazarus had opted to use a metal ruler and a hard cover book as makeshift ice pick and hammer. Although the ice did not reform over the chipped areas, Lazarus had given up when he chipped merely 2 inches into the ice. It was taking forever, and the metal ruler is not taking the hammering very well, looking slightly bent. Red eyes trailed to the remainder of the ice warily, it looks like a good 3 feet left towards the door, and that is just to the door knob, how long it will take for him to clear the entire door?

Throwing the metal ruler and book to a side, he tried to think of any other ways to get through. The bed had gotten cold and partially frozen by this time, which means he wouldn't be going to bed anytime soon.

Right now, the only other way he could think of was using his other power - Spontaneous Combustion. With his blanket torn and wrapped around him as a makeshift jacket, since he couldn't access his closet at the moment, he wrapped his arms around himself and looked at the ice worriedly. He hadn't used this power of his since... the Lab's explosion. It was always one of his more unstable powers, when he was still a Frei he had made a lot of things explode without meaning to, and the Lab... that was the worse. Lazarus had refrained himself from using it ever since. But perhaps... just perhaps, he could control it better now that he had been a Sigel for nearly three years, surely all those years of experience was not for naught.

Determined, he went to get a few magazines that he doesn't want to keep first. He hadn't used this particular power for a long long time, he would definitely need to practice a little before using it on the ice. Holding one old magazine in his hand, he summoned the power (with some restrain) and watched it as he poofed into little burned paper shreds. "Alright, that was more or less the correct size." He whispered to himself. Taking a few more magazines, he did the same and managed to make nearly three magazines explode into shreds, with one more still sort of intact, although it was nearly torn in half as well. Being cautious, he practiced on another stack of magazines before he was sure of his abilities. Floating over to the wall of ice, he rubbed his hands on his arms as he attempts to warm up to the task. To blow up this amount of ice, he would probably need a stronger combustion. Warily he placed his hands on the ice, hissing at the freezing coldness assaulting his nerves. Concentrating onto the ice he was touching, he summoned his powers to blow it up.

A deafening bang, a puff of smoke fading quickly in the cold air, and painful ice cold shards stabbed into and grazed his skin. "ARGH!!!" He cried as he stumbled backwards, his left hand clutched to his right arm. Now that was stupid. That explosion was a little too strong, and he failed to consider that perhaps the ice shards would fly towards him during the explosion. Groaning in pain, he checked his wounds. The ice shard that stabbed into his skin had already melted from his body heat, but that didn't stop the bleeding much, probably made it look worse. "s**t." His arms, particularly his right one, got the most damage, grazes and shallow stab wounds everywhere. There was blood on his face as well as a shard grazed his cheek, same with his neck. His palms looked like he just dipped his hands into a pool of blood - his own blood. "Argh!!!" He groaned as his hands tense up from the pain.

The good news though? He created a crater about 3 feet wide and 1 foot deep in the wall of ice, although he is no where near freedom yet. "ARGH!!!!" The fire Sigel cried again, this time more in frustration than in pain. When will he be able to get out of this nightmare?

Ebony Shade
Solo Journal Entry
(Response to Frozen Lab)

~~~~~~
Among the massive crowd gathered outside Lab 305, Cordelia stared up in awe of what her birthplace had become. The way the light shimmered off the ice like crystals made for a hauntingly beautiful spectacle and yet the basilisk couldn’t fully appreciate its magnificent. She worried about whom could be trapped inside, for the news had reported it a good possibility. After all, Ebby had said that the good doctor and Lazarus lived there as well as worked. But that was something that bothered her greatly. Drawing from one of her earliest memories of the demon, Delia knew he was a fire conjurer. And if knowledge served her right, fire melted ice. So then why, if Lazarus was indeed trapped inside, hadn’t he been able to melt his way out by now?
The wind picked up then and the snake shivered, her three layers of warm clothing doing little next to the frosted giant before her. Drawing in on herself and floating further back from the crowded police line, Delia had another thought. Zul and Alex worked at the lab too and Zul was like Lazarus. Surely if either of them or better yet, both demonic Raevans were inside (or even outside) they’d have made a puddle out of this ice castle…right? It worried her, thinking something horrible might have befallen either of her friends. It was a little inconceivable for her to think there was something more powerful out there than the two boys.
With a heavy heart and sigh, Cordelia floated away from the scene, not able to take anymore of the cold. If only it weren’t ice, she’d be able to do something to help. At least she thought she could help though wasn’t sure what she’d do exactly, but anything had to be better than standing around and just waiting for new news. Yet that’s all she could do. That and hope that anyone who was trapped inside would be able to get out okay.
Atmadja
Meta Solo: Understatements
"Mon Dieu," said Vivi, eyebrows raised, as she bent over the morning paper. Beside her, Shepard all but sank into his first cup of far-too-early coffee and made a herculean attempt to appear interested. Shadows had sunk under his eyes like smears of eyeblack and his hair refused to pick a direction in which to rebel. The thin cotton of his t-shirt hung off his slouched shoulders with as much disinterest as the look he now gave the flattened newspaper under Vivi's hands.
She, bathrobed and ponytailed and fresh-faced, continued reading the front-page story and left Shepard to his beverage, letting the silence stretch until she finished the article and repeated: "Mon Dieu."
"Hmm?" Coffee hadn't yet given him verbiage, but he could manage a noncommittal sound.
"Lab 305," Vivi murmured, turning a page in the paper. "It has been frozen over."
"Mm." That made sense. It had been cold recently.
No, wait, what?
Shepard blinked, pressing the heel of one hand into his eyes as he leaned over the table to get a look at the article. "Frozen over?"
Vivi seemed just faintly concerned and curious as she folded the pages over again, orienting them to Shepard's view. "It is not a very informative article. Unmeltable ice seems to have grown over the building somehow, with people within. It must be a Raevan -- perhaps being born? Or becoming a Sigel?" She shrugged lightly, combing her fingers through her bangs.
"Weird..." Shepard offered, squinting at the text. "They probably have something in place for this kind of thing, right? Dr. Kyou, or whatever his name is."
"Mm." Vivi nodded, turning her attention to the state of her tea and brioche. "I am certain it is not serious. Mssr. Zeke would probably have rung us if there was a problem with our tanks, n'est pas?"
"Pro--bably." Shepard spoke through a jaw-splitting yawn, sinking deep into his chair and stretching his long legs beneath the table. He set down the paper and reached for his coffee mug, peering inside and making a face when he saw that it was empty. He rose with it and ambled slowly, imprecisely, to the coffee maker and poured another cup.
Silence fell, punctuated by the soft thin sound of turning pages as Vivi immersed herself in another article. Shepard shook out the sports section and sat, draining his cup and processing scores, schedules.
"Hey," he said, still half-absorbed in his reading. "You don't think ours'll do something like that when it's born, do you?" He looked up, the faded green of his eyes meeting Vivi's. "Like freezing over the building."
Vivi smiled then, her own gaze becoming warm, affectionate.
"Well. If you wake up one morning to the most achingly brilliant of dawns," she said, "I suppose we will know."
Aphismet
:: The Return of the Prince - One ::
One message, over every other. No matter the phase of the moon, one sentence resounded. However Rivener tried to block it out, the Stars all but yelled it at him.
The Return of the Prince
The Return of the Prince
The REtuRN of The PRinCE
THE RETURN OF THE PRINCE
The Cold - The Ice - The End!
Beware Beware Beware Beware Beware Beware Be-
Rivener slammed the windows shut and drew the curtains closed, something chilling him to the core. ...What did it all mean? Why was it so insistent?
Aphismet
:: The Return of the Prince - Two ::
The yelling from downstairs jarred Rivener out of sleep. He inhaled sharply and sat bolt upright before he was even fully awake, disoriented and feeling a block of lead settling in his stomach. It sounded like non-sense at first to the drowsy Sigel, but the screams soon coalesced into something from Rivener’s nightmares. Aphismet, yelling for him over and over, sounding so incredibly distraught that it instantly set the Scorpion on edge, eyes wild. He jumped out of bed, throwing the blankets half-way across the room, and didn’t even bother grabbing his clothes before he zoomed down the stairs at breakneck speeds, his belts clanking together softly.
Rivener! RIVENER!!! Shrill from panic, Aphismet’s eyes snapped up the instant his Raevan burst into the kitchen. Rivener was dishevelled and wild-looking, wings flared and eyes flashing. The white-haired man was gripping his cell phone in one hand, and crumpling the living daylights out of the newspaper in the other.
“What’s the matter? Oh my god, did someone die? Please tell me someone didn’t die! Where’s Isi? Eiry? What is it??” Riv held back from rushing up to shake the answers out of Aphismet simply because the chef looked on the verge of tears, already trembling more than enough on his own. Instead of answering, Aphismet shoved the newspaper at Rivener. The Sigel snatched the daily edition of Gambino Isle News and smoothed out the rumpled paper as much as he could, reading the headline…
The Lab? Encased in Ice? Rivener’s eyes snapped open and his lungs stopped working.
“She won’t pick up,” Aphismet had begun mumbling, wringing the cell phone in his hands and drawing worrisome squeaking sounds from the fragile plastic casing. ”She won’t pick up, I called her cell and her house and the lab and the lines are down, I only get voicemail if I get through at all, she won’t pick up…”
Aphismet must mean-… “Zul!” Rivener instantly breathed out the name, something cold and electric suddenly compressing his heart.
The clawed hands dropped the newspaper and Rivener launched himself on the nearest phone, dialing Zul’s number… It took some searching, but Neil did have the proper number and Rivener did manage to reach Zul. The moment that voice said his name, Rivener felt himself relax a slight bit, though learning that the Demon-Frei didn’t know the whereabouts of his Guardian put a giant damper on that relief… When Rivener hung up, he spun to find Aphismet staring at him hopefully, the cell phone smothered in his hands.
“Is she okay?” His voice wavered so badly, his dark eyes glistened with tears, his face was pale as a sheet. Aphismet was worrying himself sick. “Was she with Zul?”
Rivener felt like he was bringing an axe down on Aphismet’s prone neck when he replied: “She wasn’t with him. He doesn’t know where she is or if she’s okay.”
Dark brown eyes slowly opened wider, almost bugging out of Aphismet’s head. He opened his mouth and tried to breathe, but he couldn’t. Limp fingers dropped the cell phone, a loud clatter breaking the silence a split second before Aphismet himself buckled at the knees, eyes rolling into his head. Rivener caught him before he fell to the floor, just barely.
So clammy and cold… Rivener flapped his wings and shifted Aphi’s weight before his bad arm gave out and he dropped the chef. The Sigel carried his comatose Guardian into the living room, then called Isi and Eiry, wherever they were… Someone needed to take Aphi to a doctor or something!
Even as he kept himself busy, Rivener felt a wary tickle at the back of his mind… This had to have something to do with what the Stars had said. It had to! The Cold, the Ice, the End… What in the name of hell was going on?!
A few hours had already passed, and the little light that managed to get through the ice covered window seemed to dim as evening slowly approaches. Having not given up hope yet, Lazarus had wrapped his injured hands with a few torn blankets and resumed thawing the ice, slowly this time by blowing off little bits and pieces instead of large chunks like what he initially did. He had also chosen to work on the door going into the bathroom instead of the hallway, since there is a door that leads to the hallway there as well. Plus the ice there seemed a little thinner than the one to the front door, in which he assumed and hoped that the bathroom was not in a worse condition than his room is.
His hands are numb from the pain and cold by the time the ice was thin enough, he had already thawed off almost all the ice on the surface of the door. Drawing in a deep breath and grabbing onto the knob, he gave it a hopeful twist. But of course, it did not budge at all. Frustrated, he tried to slam his body into the door, and to his surprise the door did budge a little this time. His face immediately lighten up with hope as he continued to slam into the door, harder and harder this time, practically throwing his weary body at the door. Only one thought was on his mind at this moment, and that was the prospect of getting out of his hell hole. It took a bit of a slamming as there was a coating of ice on the other side as well, but it was much thinner than in Lazarus's room. However, it finally gave way with a loud crack, the door swung open when the ice cracked. Like finding freedom finally, Lazarus cheered out loud as he quickly made his way into the bathroom through the half broken door.
Just as he suspected, the freezing here was not as bad as his bedroom, this is good. There are some ice at the bottom and top slit of the door leading into the hallway, but compared to the ice in his room, this is very mild. Quickly setting to work, he pressed his numb fingers onto the ice and blow off small chunks carefully. Only adrenaline is driving his body at the moment, as he lost a lot of blood and had not fed since the ordeal started. His body shuddered from the cold and his rune flickered slightly but he did not notice, because his concentration is wholly on thawing off the ice.
Licking his cracked lips, he blew off the last bit of ice and tried to push the door again. It didn't budge this time. "Come on!" He muttered as he begin slamming his body into the door again. It proved to be more difficult than he thought, as the door only budge a little even if he slammed his whole body weight into it. "I'm not giving up now!" He cried, as if cheering himself on and giving himself motivation. Again and again, he throw his weary and torn body at the door, until he finally heard a crack from outside. "Yes!!" Lazarus did not know what made that sound, but it almost sounded like a sweet melody to him, giving him renewed energy to continue on. Harder and harder, he slammed his body into the door, until the wooden door actually cracked itself. A few more slams proved that the cracked part is a weak spot. With his hands this time, he punched and slammed into the crack until he made a hole that he could see through to the outside. Like a view to freedom. Fervently he started to make the hole bigger until he could fit through the hole, finally escaping his room.
But only to find that he is trapped within more layers of ice. As he floated there with his bloodied hands, his breath creating thin puffs of fog, and a hole in his door, his crimson eyes stared almost hopelessly at the layers of ice surrounding him in the room, and in the hallway.
No... he mustn't give up hope now. Right now, his first task is to find Kyou, to make sure he is alright. And he hoped that he would not stumble upon the creature or being that made the Lab this way. Looking at the amount of ice in front of his bedroom door, he was glad that he chose to escape through the bathroom door instead. No way in hell he was going to get out that way. Now... he just need to thaw his way through the nearly frozen over hallway. Shouldn't be as bad though, as there are not as solid as the one in his bedroom, with large gaps and holes everywhere.
He swear, the first thing he will do after this whole ordeal, was to take a warm bath, preferably somewhere not inside this building.
The grand finale. And something shocking happened to Zul!
Just like how it started, it ended abruptly. The ice prince's reign was short-lived, shattered along with the prince's shattered soul.
Kyou was found alongside with Alex, both holed up in Kyou's bedroom trapped inside the ice. Thanks to Kyou's magical abilities, he was able to keep the ice at bay as much as possible, so they could still have a dry and relatively warm bed to stay on. But there was nothing much he could do to the ice, as they were too malice to battle, even for himself. The relief he felt when Zul broke through the doors was quickly replaced by worry as he noticed the lifeless form the newborn Sigel was holding. Lazarus... Despite the fire Sigel's dire situation and broken body, Kyou was relieved to find that he is still alive.
Arrangements were quickly made when they got out of the thawing Lab, Lazarus was to be sent to Hazeline's place for recovery, as Xiu was already readily waiting outside the Lab when they got out, eager to help. Although still worried, Kyou knew he had to let Lazarus go as he had other matters to attend to. Gold eyes that was once bright now shadowed as he looked up at the ice fortress that was beginning to fall apart. It will probably take a couple more days, maybe even a week for it to thaw, and even longer after that to clean up and undo all the damages. Drying and patching the walls, replace broken furniture, checking through all the equipments, drying out all the paperwork and much, much more. First and foremost, he would still need to make frequent checks for the tanks in the Lab, just to make sure everything was alright. There is a lot of work laid out for him, but he is sure that in time, the Lab will be how it used to be again.
However, whether the Raevans involved will ever be the same again, is another matter. Zul was quickly whisked away on a holiday the moment Alex had food in her stomach and access to the internet. One moment she was still stuffing herself at a diner nearby, the next she was already on a plane to some far away tropical country. Kyou did not have a chance to ask the Sigel what really happened.
Rivener was also not much help, his situation was as bad as Lazarus's. Aphismet was at the Lab within minutes when he received the call from Kyou, apparently running every red light along the way. Where he was taken to later was unknown to Kyou. Perhaps to a hospital nearby, or maybe just back home for recovery, he do not know. But he knew deep inside that everything will be alright, and he look forward to seeing Rivener up and about again.
The scientist was actually more worried about Melisande. Just as he was surprised by the sudden icey assault on the Lab, he was equally surprised to see her alongside Zul when the latter broke through the door. The muse was completely silent throughout the entire period, looking troubled and distracted. She left as soon as they got out of the Lab, her clothes stained with Rivener's blood. Whatever that happened in the Lab, he was afraid that Melisande is perhaps the only one who witnessed everything up until the end. Perhaps he should talk with her later...
And then, there was Roux... Although Kyou does not know the details, but he was quite sure that this was all the Raevan's doing. All this while, he could feel the ice Raevan's presence through the ice, the malice that emanates through them. But moments before Zul breaking through that door, he felt that presence vanished, and the ice just turned into normal ice. Although he does not know what happened between the Raevans, one thing he knew for certain... Roux is dead. One visit to the upper level of the building much later confirmed his suspicions as he found the hamsa necklace that he had given to Roux a long time ago for protection, laying in a pool of water on the ground. The magical trinket had lost all it's powers as there was a large crack in the middle. Although sadden by the undeniable fact, he was at least glad that perhaps the Raevan had gotten peace at last.
Yes, may you rest in peace Roux...
