Right next to the building permit office lies the office of the house inspector. Upon entering this building the first thing you notice is that it is covered in various papers, all piled haphazardly on top of one another. Once he sees you, Azibo, the resident honey badger and housing inspector gives you a long insidious grunt as he waddles over.
"Want an upgrade, eh? Filed your paper work, eh?" He snorts, irritable that you have bothered his time management of paper sorting. "Got the stones, eh? Don't just stand there, plenty to get done! Let's see, out with them!"

Each Pharaoh Hound has his or her own dwelling in which they employ one or multiple cats. Their house directory can be in the city of their choosing and will include any servants they employ (whether owned by you are not) as well as the size of your dwelling. The houses are fully dependent on a hound's status symbol. They range from cave like dens to large, fancy estates.
Upgraded houses will come with the following perks: ability to employ more slaves, ability to charge more for services rendered, and they improve a dog's status and social standing within the city. Houses may be upgraded after the following stipulations are met (perks are listed as well):
xxxMud Hut: Starting house : no requirements || charge up to 250 stones + 2 slaves owned + roll 1-5 for stats
xxxClay House: Buy Upgrade (5,000 stones) || charge up to 500 stones + 5 slaves owned + roll 1 - 10 for stats
xxxAdobe: Buy Upgrade (10,000 stones) || charge up to 1,000 stones + 10 slaves owned + roll 1 - 15 for stats
xxxEstate: Buy Upgrade (25,000 stones) || charge up to 5,000 stones + 20 slaves owned + roll 1 - 20 for stats
Reminder: You must go from one upgrade to the next! You cannot bypass a previous upgrade!
