The apothecary is an establishment which produces and dispenses medicinal products for a wide array of ailments. The owner, along with trained slaves, also offers medical advice and an range of treatments to help cure varying conditions.

Please note though this is a business Tahirah strives to keep prices down and as fair as possible. She does NOT welcome hagglers and will ignore any such exchange. Prizes vary due to the nature of each product, her garden is her larder and is still relatively young thus some products she has to buy in hence a higher price i.e. the frankincense resin. Other prices reflect the complexity of the product/preparation. Opium is priced highly due to it's addictive nature and it's possible misuse. Tahirah hopes as the business grows and her garden matures she'll be able to lower the prices and also add new products as her skills develop.
Aloe Vera Lotion: Used in the treatment of burns, it has cooling and soothing properties to ease the pain caused from the skin damage. Directions: Apply to the affected area(s). Cost: 300 stones.
Ginkgo tisane: Golden ginkgo leaves used for stimulation and increasing memory and boosting concentration abilities. Directions: Stew in hot water and drink. Cost: 100 stones.
Chamomile Tisane: Pure Chamomile flowers used for easing digestion and has some calming effects. Directions: Stew in hot water and drink. Cost: 100 stones.
Digestion Tisane: Contains: Caraway, Fennel, Licorice root, ginger. Used to treat mild digestive problems. Directions: Stew in hot water and drink. Cost: 150 stones.
Colocynth fruit: Used as a serve purgative. Directions: Stew a small amount in hot water and drink. Cautions: Do not take in large doses as it can cause intestinal bleeding. Cost: 100 stones.
Frankincense resin: Used in the treatment of various breathing problems, aid in clearing phlegm and help treat throat infections. Directions: Burn as an incense. Cost: 500 stones.
Honey and dressings: Used for dressing wounds and preventing infection. Directions: Smear the honey onto the wound and cover with the dressings. Cost: 200 stones.
Sandalwood soap: Used as a preventative measure but also as a treatment for many skin microbial infections. Directions: Damped, lather and use when washing, applying to the body. It is also okay to use in the genital regions. Cost: 300 stones.
Kyphi: Used as a traditional incense, this is Tahirah's own blend. Directions: Burn as an incense. Cost: 500 stones.
Wintergreen: These leaves are used to treat various rheumatic symptoms, headaches, fevers, sore throat and various aches and pains. Directions: Stew one or two leaves in hot water and drink. Caution: Do not crush or bruise the leaves once in the water, this causes various oils from the plant to be released and may then cause the water to carry a fatal dose. Cost: 100 stones.
Oil of wintergreen: This is a oil distilled from the wintergreen leaves used as a tisane, it is in a diluted form. The oil is used to treat muscle or joint aches and also applied to the surrounding area(s) of a broken or bruised bone to ease the pain and swelling. Directions: Massage a small amount into the affected area(s). Note: If preferred Tahirah can prepare an ointment instead of the oil, this will cost slightly more, please speak to Tahirah about this service. Cost: 400 stones.
Opium resin: Used as a painkiller and also as a sedative. Directions: Resin maybe smoked or soaked in water and drunk. Cost: 400 stones.
Myrrh gargle: Used as an antiseptic and for the treatment of gum disease. Directions: Measure a small amount and use as a gargle in the mouth. Caution: Do NOT swallow, spit out. Cost: 300 stones.
Myrrh ointment: Used as an antiseptic for minor abrasions. Directions: Apply to the affected area(s). Cost: 300 stones.
