Senra: Former Farmer / CandidateExtended
About: Sen likes laughing, and likes it more when people join in with her. It's incredibly rare to find her in a bad mood, and in her company there is never a dull moment. She's a natural born leader (or at least she thinks so), easily excited over close to anything (That cloud looks like a dragon! Did you see that cloud?!), and she loves to debate more than she even realizes. She'll often start questioning people about every little detail of a plan, for example. Very, very, very social, and actively seeks out company. Doesn't matter if you look mean, nervous or outgoing as her.
Noteworthy other stuff:
- Sen is an apprentice farmer from a long line of other farmers. Her parents were caused much grief due to her extreme interest in flowers. If you even have one near you, expect her to approach. Or if you're another farmer, she'll also come looking for you.
- Sen loves food. Really loves food. She tries her best to get on the good side of any sort of cook (or just someone who has food in general). You know that friend in high school you could give five dollars to eat almost anything? Yeah. That's her.
- Sen hopes to be the rider of a green. She's fond of their "bursts of energy", meaning the fact they can go really fast and swift but have low stamina (because she gets lazy sometimes). She will gravitate toward green riders, question them about their dragon like mad / admire said dragon. On the flip side, she seems the least interested in gold/bronze riders and their dragons.
- Like a lot of the women around the Weyr, Sen can be easily mistaken for a man because her hair is so short and because even in hot weather she's usually dressed in baggy clothes when in public.
Looking / Ideas / Plots:
- Need a guy from her past to be the former boyfriend of both her and Chibi's soon-to-come candidate girl. He can be older or younger so long as he's around their age (19 and 20 respectively). The story is he was basically two-timing the duo, got caught and instead of being like those girls on Maury who rip each other apart, they beat him up and became BFF instead. Doesn't matter if the guy was a jerk and isn't anymore. Has to be someone who grew in a Hold or was at least around one long enough. Sen was a farmer and Chibi's girl will be a former Harper.
- Friends from the past? (See above.)
- A roommate to bunk with her and Chibi's girl. Likely to be (playfully) harassed if they're shy, and drug into all sorts of things if they're not.
- Any greenrider that has time for an ambush of questions and starry eyes at their dragon.
- Any chefs / cooks / bakers / anyone who formerly or currently works / worked with food of any kind in the Weyr. She will kiss up to try and get recipes or meals. Hell, the character can just be carrying food for whatever reason.
- Someone who mistakes her for a guy would be lulz. She won't correct them either, so this could lead to quite a few different situations and could possibly go on for a while.
- Might also be amusing for someone to mistake her as a lesbian and try to set her up with a girl (or even mistake her as a guy and try to set her up with a girl).
- Any sort of scheme or prank. Count her in. She doesn't even have to know you. "Hey, I'm gonna throw this at that guy, wanna watch?" would be enough.

About: Balin is grumpy, but not mean. In fact, he has a huge weakness for all things cute or heart wrenching. Baby dragons, crying girls, crying baby girl dragons; he yield to them all. He's a very competent and no-nonsense guy. Contrary to what some may expect, he doesn't look down on other people, just seems unsure of how to handle those who aren't like him or a bratty younger male (due to his brotherly experience).
He doesn't like playing a leadership role, but if no one else does or the current one in charge is hesitant, he will step up as a secondhand or take the lead. Very calm during crisis and always open to listening to things that might prove better than a theory / method / idea he has. Spends most of his free time off thinking or quietly observing.
Noteworthy other stuff:
- Balin is a big baby about heights. He's scared of being up high and obviously of flying. It's a weird relationship with his fear, because he denies it, yet acknowledges it enough to mark it as something he needs to overcome. It's not so much a phobia it interferes with his daily life, he's just somewhat uncomfortable / nervous about it.
- Balin is sort of a jack of all trades, master of none type of guy. He's good at a variety of things required to run a house hold (cooking, sewing, etc.), but only to the minimum that was required to help raise his two younger brothers. So, he's not really a "crafter", per say.
- Was often a go-to-guy for minor inconveniences back in the hold for people not intimidated by him. A girl might approach him to help tend to a rip in her dress for example.
- Very, very uncomfortable around women. The less like one they look / act, the more easygoing he will be. (Note he is in fact 100% heterosexual, just nervous around the opposing gender.)
Wanted / Ideas / Plots:
- A middle brother. The youngest is a soon-to-be candidate by Kaelyndra. It'd just drive him out of his mind to think he finally got away from them only to have both of them there. Or if someone can make it work, he can have a brother already there.
- Anyone who might know him from the past. They wouldn't be from anything dramatic like an affair or something. At most he might have helped them up once and managed a conversation or something like that.
- Some funny moments in regards to his fear of heights. He will not admit this to anyone (not even himself really), so he'd either need to somehow be roped into a situation where it's made obvious or somehow otherwise cornered about it.
- Moar friends. Especially characters who will talk him out of his shell / make him srsly uncomfortable. That sort of thing.
- Love interest maybe? Can be one-sided from either end or not. This would be a very subtle crush if it were him, and he wouldn't say / act on it. At least, not for a looong time. His type of girl would be one who could balance him out, so if they're shy, it wouldn't work.

Alasia: Journeywoman CobblerExtended
About: Alasia sometimes makes a bad first impression because she's loud and at times more aggressive than a situation calls for. This is normally with other women, but if she wants to, she's good at selling herself to either gender (not literally, but this is another common mistake).
Likely a result of never having many, she has a very poor grasp of problems and how to deal with them. The concept of "it's not that simple" is lost on her, because she thinks it is.
She has a strong sense of "justice", what's "right" and "wrong", and will never do anything she views as the latter. Very obsessed with status as well.
Noteworthy other stuff:
- Alasia will never lie to anyone for any reason.
- She's a pretty thing, and plays the part. If a single strand of hair falls out of place, she will stop whatever she's doing to fix it. She wears 'pretty' clothes, too.
- In the past, Alasia was searched, but refused her invitation as a candidate. She doesn't hate or fear dragons, she's just not particularly comfortable with how big they are or the concept of being in danger. When one is around, she'll probably pay them no mind. The exception to this is golds, which she'll coo over and compliment for as long as they'll let her.
- Obsessed with fashion, but especially shoes. I do mean obsessed. She has a pair for every day of the week at least, and some even claim they've never seen her wear the same pair more than once.
- Specializes in making "designer" shoes of good quality; from boots to casual wear to everything in between. Currently, she's hard at work replacing anything the mysterious thief might have taken.
Wanted / Ideas / Plots:
- Guy from her past she had a big thing for, supposedly one-sided. As the story goes, he was searched and left without telling her (this can be because he didn't have the chance, didn't want to or simply forgot) after she herself had turned the opportunity down. He can be older or younger than her, but if younger must presently be at least 18. He can have any personality and she may not have played much of a significant role in his life. Probably would have started crushing on him after some seemingly simple encounter when they were younger. Very open on this one!
- Anyone to make / design / fix shoes for. Her current task is mostly replacing any that were stolen by the thief, but she'll also stop to repair or fix other pairs.
- Partners in crime to give fashion advice, or someone to critique. Her forte is shoes, but she has an eye for all things fashion. She especially likes to badger other women who don't dress as feminine as her to let her give them a make over.
- RP with any goldriders and their dragons I think would be interesting. Note that anything Alasia makes is good quality, but a goldrider's would be extremely well crafted and custom designed. She'll also shamelessly smother the dragon in praise and compliments. Status = win.
- Anything else. Friends, crushes, whatever.

Razaphon: Journeyman Ceramic ArtistExtended
About: Razaphon is a cliche well-meaning old timer of nearly 63. He shares his sweets with children, steers anyone who seeks his advice on the right path and always encourages the youngins to try their best to reach their dreams, but not give up if it just doesn't happen. It didn't for him, after all.
In his youth, he wanted to be a dragonrider more than anything, but alas, he never impressed and returned to his craft after he became too old to try any longer. He was bummed for a while, but didn't stay down too long, and instead expressed his continuing love for dragons through his work.
Noteworthy other stuff:
- Razaphon's old, in pretty good shape for his age, and not very good looking. He's balding, has a sort of beer belly, and more wrinkles than he can shake a stick at before he uses it to chase kids off his lawn. Not that he would.
- Razaphon makes ceramic statues of dragons via comission, and they're very good, as well as colored. They're mostly a small size so they're easily transported / stored, but he can / will make bigger ones.
- Is known to give greenriders free statues out of admiration for the underdog dragons themselves.
- Will sometimes make dragon themed plates, pots and bowls too, but this is rare.
- Likes him some beer and wine, yes he does. Dragon poker, too!
Wanted / Ideas / Plots:
- Anyone who could have stumbled upon one of his statues in the windows and suggested he color them. This person is listed as being a dyeing-heavy crafter, but I wouldn't be opposed to changing it as someone with a dyer relative / friend, or even just a non-dye person with a suggestion. They'd have been relatively young when this happened, though. Around 12-ish, give or take.
- People to commission him for statues, or attempt to commission for other things (plates, bowls, etc.)
- RP with anyone he'd already know for any reason. Could be they were neighbors, he may have known their parents through his work or from when he was a candidate.
- Not opposed to him having grandchildren. I'm not sure where his wife would be. I guess she's dead since my characters seem to be writing like Disney movies lately. They can have any history in regard to their parents, any gender, personality, etc.
- Drinking buddies and people to play poker with him. Again, any gender / age / etc. He could have even played with their parents and now plays with them. Just needs someone to have some lulz with.
- Whatever else. I'm out of ideas.

Well, for Senra I have Quinnel and Green Winath [x]. As long as they're not stupid questions - "Does she eat meat? :B" - she'd be pretty tolerant; that's assuming, of course, that Senra isn't put off by Quinnel's quirks.
For Alasia I have Mella and Blue Cresth [x]. Mella is a former runner and like most runners she often made her own shoes. Despite now being a Rider she still seems to prefer wearing hand-made shoes or no shoes at all. Also, Mella values practical clothes over girly ones.
Finally, for Razaphon, I have considered making Quinnel's little sister, Iantha. She would be a (future) artist in need of someone to study under, so if Razaphon would be willing to have a semi-permanent tag-along... Also, Quinnel's Green is an underdog of underdogs, so there might be something there too.

I'd be up for all those RPs! :3 Probably start with Sen and Quin just to keep things organized. Is there any specific reason you see them interacting or should it just be a random meet-and-greet.
And Razaphon is totally the kind of guy to take on an apprentice, though he might be somewhat amazed someone would want to see he's a very modest kind of guy. XD

Hm, I'd say it would probably be a random meet-and-greet. The only way I can see it being non-random would be using Quinnel's Flitt, Mud, who has a tendency to nick food from people. Perhaps Mud could steal Senra's food and lead her on a merry chase to Quinnel? o.O;

If you and Cheebs want, I haven't ICly stated who Kesslan's rooming with, so it could be them. She's been a candidate for a long while, so theoretically, she could be frequently roomed with newer candidates, sort of a 'welcome to the weyr' tourguide and 'I haven't impressed, that's why there's rotating space in my sleeping area' combo.
She makes a pretty good shenanagins companion as she has a healthy sense of humor and keeps her mouth shut.
Also, I'm down for any RP with Razaphon. Kess has yet to impress as well, though she keeps quiet about any disappointments, she's also the type to enjoy a good round of cards. We can invent any sort of history between them that you like, as she's weyr born and raised.

@ Holy - That works. <3 I'm an annoying kind of busy right now where I'm around but can't dedicate the time to actually sit down and make an RP post. XD I'll hopefully be free tomorrow, and if not, I'll start this up after the hatching is finished.
@ Indu - Fine with me. I'll have to check with Chibi but I'm sure she'll be okay with it. As for Raz, fo' sure. Card partner for the win. I'd assume if Kess has been around she's 14, Razaphon would probably be sort of rooting for her since he tried from the age he first could and onward to impress. After so many he'd have probably started making his little figures and such to cheer her up. Even if she's quiet about it (which he was as well), he knows the disappointment well. XD If that works for you. ~

She'd definitely have caught his eye, being in awe of the dragons since she was a wee child [probably loved his figurines, as well!], plus this being her fifth IC standing, as she's due to hit 18 now.
That is an awesome suggestion, and will help color her RPs from now on, as I'm sure she keeps his gifts in her sleeping area. As for him as a mentor/older companion character, I'd like that, seeing as her mother is a busy dragon rider and her father is a travelling journeyman leatherworker.

If you're still looking for RP stuffs (after the Hatching, of course), I have Ferris, a Candidate who lacks a filter on her mouth, who could be thrown at Balin (friend RP? getting him out of his shell? she's definitely a talker o_o; ) or Razaphon (not sure what for, but she's probably seen his little dragon figurines). I also have Molli, a healer journeywoman who is very nice and loves some conversation when she's not working, who could also be thrown at Razaphon or any other character. (same goes for Ferris).
