Name: Senra
Age: 20
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, in spite of constant accusations of being otherwise. However, she harbors little interest in the world of romance.
Craft: Farmer
Rank: Apprentice
Physical Description: At 5'7, Sen is taller than most women, and Hell, some guys. There's a theory she cleans up good, but as it stands, most men who pass her don't give her a second glance unless they happen to be gay. And, once they realize, 'oh, wow, that's a woman isn't it?' they promptly avert their eyes, too. Should they catch her own brown-eyed gaze, it gets even more awkward!
She weighs somewhere around 140 lbs, and while she doesn't look too hefty it's hard to tell her body type because her choice of wardrobe tends to be baggy. Being a farmer, surprise surprise, she has quite the farmers tan; no pun intended. Her black hair is cut short and uneven and quite frankly it's a total mess. But hey, keeps it out of her face, right? She has a "sort of" big nose, "kind of" thick lips, "a little thin" eyebrows and one of her ears might be a little lower than the other.
Personality: Lead me, follow me or get out of my way.
Words to live by, Sen says. Being in charge is one of her favorite things. At the same time, she is aware of just what she is and isn't suitable for. There is little she enjoys more than stepping up to the theoretical plate, but if someone is more fit to be in it to win it (more words to live by!) she'll dethrone herself and abide by their will, if hesitantly.
Sen wants only a life of excitement and change. She is outgoing, talkative and all around loud. Great sense of humor, but some sneer at the subjects she decides to joke about as with her there is nothing sacred. Her family doesn't find it funny when she opts to grow flowers instead of crop. She can't help it if they're prettier. By the way, that doesn't make her girly. She's not. At all. Alright? Good. Neither does lying about her age. You know, if she did. Which she doesn't, because she really is only nineteen, okay?
Although not intolerant of others beliefs, hobbies or traditions, she can come off as disrespectful of them in the midst of trying to spawn a few laughs. Sometimes, she forgets not everyone is as loose with their laughter as she is. But, really, she wants to understand why everyone thinks the way they do. This curiosity runs so deep that even when she isn't cracking jokes, she might still offend someone by bluntly asking them a question that should either be handled delicately or simply not said at all.
As someone who enjoys taking the opposing side of issue for kicks in debating, she doesn't usually fully realize her limits at the starting line and will push until she finds out what they are. Resulting chaos is by no means unheard of, but her intentions are generally only to rattle cages, not to cause harm. When people get flustered, it's only amusing to her. Issues she fights for because of personal values are few and far between. Things she does see as wrong are things that have negatively effected her somehow. For reasons like those she carries bitterness toward following in the footsteps of parents, claiming it "steals identity" from their kin.
Love her or hate her, Sen is what she is. She makes no plans to change herself or her behavior, even when she acknowledges her actions as wrong. She's very much aware she's bullheaded to the point of being a brat, many times unreasonable in spite of her constant demand for logic, among other things. She simply doesn't care. Life has never brought her any bad consequence for doing whatever she wants. At least, not yet. Only around the few she considers her true friends, and few they are, does she alter her behavior. Slightly.
At the end of the day, she just wants to live, let live and have a lot of laughs.
Tomorrow could never come, so why waste today?
History: Senra has a dull history, but she plans to add plenty of spice to the future. She was born the daughter of farmers. Her grandparents were farmers. Sen was intended to be, you guessed it, a farmer. This was very boring, so somewhere in her mid-teens when a young lad just a wee bit older (or maybe a lot older depending on who you asked) showed up, she jumped on the chance to do anything to annoy her household. Contrary to what the whispers among gossip queens may have said, Sen didn't care much for the man himself as opposed to the excitement he added in her otherwise very boring life.
Sooo, she wasn't particularly crushed to find out he was seeing another young lady her age (because she's only 19, not 20, just like her) and, fortunately, neither was said other female. The girls gave him a good smack, then another. A couple more. It wasn't like they killed the guy and, gosh, he deserved it!
You ever meet someone and feel like you've known them your whole life? That was the feeling the duo seemed to share that day. They became instant friends, almost instant best friends, and from then on were inseparable up until the point she went to "play music or some such", according to Sen. She was too busy "doing farmer things", anyway.
One day, she hopes, they'll be reunited and shooting through the sky blasting Thread whenever the need arises. Work can be fun, too. Sometimes.
