This week's topic is spring. Why do I always forget? D:< The Suites Weekly Art Challenge is a weekly creative outlet for artists of all skill levels. A topic is posted every Wednesday night and artists have an entire week to interpret that topic in whatever way they like. The Suites Weekly Art Challenge is meant to challenge participants creatively. There is no pressure. There is no one judging the outcome. It's just a chance to practice and experiment and have fun with art.
Topics will be chosen from your suggestions. Please feel free to post your suggestions for future topics! Keep in mind that a topic should be very general so that people can interpret it in many creative ways. No avi art or specific things please. x3Rules 1. Post only your own work here. Do not post work done by other artists.
1b. Photos will only be accepted if they are artistic photos taken by the person posting them.
2. Do not steal work that is posted here.
3. Do not critique work that is posted here. If the artist wants critique, he/she can make another thread asking for it.

I was going to draw something, but I can't find my drawing pencils. D:<
But when I was looking for my drawing pencils I found origami supplies, so I decided that origami counted as art and attempted a fold I hadn't done before.
Behold, a bird for spring: (Yes, I took my own pictures.)

I may create something when I get home tomorrow or later tonight, but I'm not certain. ninja I have to pack tonight.
Sal- cute! Took me a minute to see the structure, but once I figured it out it looks neat! I really like the paper you used, too. Makes it look like a blue-jay!

That is cute. X3 And it only matter if you took the picture if the picture itself is the art entry. If it's a physical piece of art that you took a picture of, it only matters that you created the art. x3

To me, spring is the time when you can break out with something new, be a kid, and do whatever you want. Also, nature is a big part of spring for me. I took this picture of my brother today, he's never really climbed a tree, and today he climbed to the top, which fits with my vision of spring.
