Eyes Long eyelashes and heavy eyeliner frame the beautiful bright violet eyes of this raevan
Hair Long (about waist-length) wavy black hair worn most often in pigtails with longer bangs
Skin Lucia is fairly pale and, other than heavy makeup and a Marilyn Monroe mole, her skin is clean
Ears Lucia has ears that fade from gray to white with long purple fur protecting her ear. . . and of course a few piercings.
Wings Lucia has black and purple bat wings which she took the liberty of adorning with piercings.
Ribbon Lucia's ribbon is, strangely enough, a black belt that ends at a silver buckle.
Identifying marks The wings, ears, and piercings would most likely identify her along with the belt ribbon. She also has some faint scars on her arms, under her arm warmers, from the fights with Zul and Rivener.
Clothing It seems that Lucia likes dressing in a way that is dark, feminine and sexy. Her lace arm warmers are adorned with spiked bracelets. Her black shiny halter top shows off her black lace bra. She also wears a white skull hairpin. She has a variety of necklaces that she adorns, but really likes a bell collar. Her stomach and back are bare showing of sexy muscles. At the beginning of her non-existent hips, Lucia has a large bow meant to show off hip movement when dancing. She also has a garter belt (without the thigh highs) that dangle. Angled up the start of her hips is a lacy fabric. The sigel plans on getting a few more piercings now that she has a belly button to adorn.

Powers Lucia can see, speak with and touch both ghosts and souls of animals and people who have recently died (before they go onto another plane of existence). This could have many implications for soul-catching.
When creatures die they almost always need to do something or have something achieved before they move onto another plane of existence, even if it is just seeing their loved one. This is not to say that they become ghosts. Ghosts are creatures who have many or a significant thing to accomplish. These spirits do not have enough to do before they move on to require becoming a ghost and their tasks are not so difficult that they can't be accomplished as ethereal beings.
Lucia is able to go over to the spirit world, interact, and come back. While she is trying to control it, her curiosity is getting her in trouble.
Her eyes naturally reflect light in the dark and her hearing is amazing.
Additionally, it seems easy for Lucia to be possessed. It is not clear how this works or how Lucia could use it.
Statistics Lucia's intelligence and creativity are definitely her strongest features. While she's more magical than strong, she does not have much endurance nor much of a sense of humor.
Alignment She is chaotic neutral. Rules and laws do not mean much to her. But she is not evil (though she's also not good).
Food Lucia needs to go to a graveyard to eat. She's not sure what refreshes her in graveyards: maybe the actual decaying bodies below the earth, maybe the emotions the mourning on Earth left behind, or something else.

The Birth of a Kitten Frei A-- A--- Ahhhh HKSN!Kyou tried to huddle with his blanket as best he could while holding onto the umbrella that Zavier had left him with after kicking the scientist out of the apartment. Between the rains starting and the fact that Zave heard new raevans could be produced at any minute... the young raevan was agitated that none of the staff was planning on going to greet the new charges. Kyou still wondered how he was stuck with the responsibility of living in the ruins. Regardless, no one was listening to his complaints. Even the ever growing rains of spring didn't seem to care about the hobo scientist's plight. Still...this science was far from perfect. Who knew when a new raevan would emerge from the machines? Pulling the blanket even closer to him, Kyou began to curse the seasonably cold downpours for about the fiftieth time. He had never remembered rains this hard when the lab was still intact. Still, no matter how skilled in the dark arts he was, Kyou could not control the elements. He was glad of one thing though... at least there was no pollen floating around in the damp air this way. Still, he did wish the rain would let up at least for a bit... As if by magic, that moment the rains started to ease up, and the downpour became nothing more than a light mist. It was a build up before something new was to come.... Out of the mist that surrounded the lab, two foreign figures emerged.

Race: Seems to be human, but shows an odd appreciation for the occult . . . who knows for sure.
Outward Appearance: Yuurei has brown eyes that look like a shade of gold, long blonde hair, and tans without being in the sun often. She always wears glasses (said to be due to some experiment’s fumes having negative ocular effects). Her most prominant feature is her boobs. They're massive. She is normally seen in sexy clothing performing various spells.
Likes: occult, mystery, black cats, Wicca, spells, charms, the unknown
Dislikes: disbelievers, deception, indifference
Personality: Yuurei is bright and funny when she wants to be, but has a corny sense of humor. She is easily annoyed and frustrated. She likes attention, but is content without it. Yuurei is more street and money smart than intelligent. The topics she is familiar with, she could be considered an expert in (Wicca, witchcraft, the occult), but if she’s not familiar with it, she doesn’t have much information. She’s not familiar with raising a child. Her financial situation allow her to support Lucia, but with no previous experience, she’s making a pretty crappy guardian. She can be very superficial and very dense and stubborn about things.
Background: Yuurei’s father was never in the picture, having abandoned her mother when informed of the pregnancy. Her mother became sick soon after Yuurei’s tenth birthday. They moved in with Nana Lucia, her mother’s mother so Mom could have help raising Yuurei and could be cared for by the best doctors in the more ritzy region. When Yuurei’s mother did die ( four years later from cancer) Yuurei was very distraught and began to get in trouble. She would skip school, hang out with the wrong crowd, and generally not be very nice to anyone. Her grandmother decided that something needed to change with her granddaughter. One day, Nana Lucia caught Yuurei sneaking out after her bedtime. Eyes narrowed, the strict fifty-year-old grabbed her granddaughter by the arm and pulled her inside. Then the lecture began. The grandmother paused, reflecting on the fear and sorrow in Yuurei’s eyes, and said that there was a very old family secret that, if Yuurei promised to turn her life around, she would share. Yuurei became Nana Lucia’s protege, apprentice, and helper. When Nana Lucia passed away, Yuurei had her life turned around and, though the similar circumstances of losing the woman she depended on threatened to bring her down again, Lucia had left her granddaughter a special rite: the need to pass along the witchcraft to further generations. Nana Lucia had been left a vast fortune with the deaths of both her father and her husband and their generations of wealth. When she died, her home, her knowledge, and her money passed on to her only granddaughter. While Yuurei went to school and has an MBA, she works when she wants to and enjoys time off when she pleases. Currently, she is taking time off to both work with Wicca and witchcraft and, supposedly, to care for Lucia. Whither thou goest, I will go.

Yuurei lives in classic but updated Victorian house inherited from her mother’s mother in the area West of the Port of Gambino and North of the Great Wall of Gambino.
Foyer: Upon entering the house from the main doorway the most beautiful feature is the large circular staircase as well as the original dark wood of the wideboard floors. Decorated lavishly, the antique rug, vaulted two-story ceiling and large crystal chandelier scream decadency. The dark woods of the floor and stairs contrast highly with the generally white furniture. The foyer contains two white bench seats on either side of the door, various plants, and a small table hugging the wall against the bend of the stairs. The dark wood continues in the two doors seen to the right. Many candelabras decorate the walls along with shelving which holds small ornate trinkets. Turning to look at the entry, the large window at the second story level lets in beautiful sunlight and showcases the old trees which inhabit the yard.
Study: The study is an area which appears to be Yuurei's work area, but is scarcely used. The large desk is made of a dark oak. The dark wood floor has a red antique rug in the middle of the floor. A sitting area with black leather couches is in the southern right corner of the room.
Great Room: The large great room has two sitting areas, one by the fireplace, one by the wall opposite the pantry. The wall opposite the pantry had a hidden TV surrounded by wooden shelving and books.
Kitchen: The kitchen, with silver appliances and granite countertop.
Dining Room: The large solid oak table seat twelve. There is a large crystal chandelier over the table.
Guest Bathroom: The white marble flooring contrasts with the black pedestal sink, shower basin, and toilet.
Yuurei's Room: Black satin sheets and lavender walls surround a birch (whiteish) wood bed, dresser, nightstand.
Yuurei's Bathroom: All dark marble and granite stuff.
Raevan's Room: As of now, all the walls are white with a dark wood floor, but will be updated when Lucia designs her room.
Guest Room: Green walls, white ceiling, green comforter, light wood floor and tan throw rug.
Recreational Area: Sitting area with a large TV.
Library: Every where there is not windows there are filled bookshelves. In the middle there is a large table. (Lucia spends most of her time up here reading and staring out the windows).
If you are wondering where in Gaia their home is located, they are along the Barton coast, owning land to the coast and into the woods.
Death is the golden key that opens the palace of Eternity.

Calcifer: Cal is the Octopuss (or Catopuss as Lucia usually calls him) that Lucia won at the 2010 Summer Beach Party in the seashell contest. He loves clinging to Lucia as she floats around. Only needing a bath once a day - to keep his body hydrated - Calcifer has taken on mostly cat-like characteristics.
 
Sammy: An energetic little butterflox, Sammy is constantly jumping up and down when around people. She loves meeting new people, smelling new smells, and playing. When excited she is often seen flying around Yuurei’s house – in one room and out another. She got along well with Yuurei’s black cat familiar, Omen when he was alive, and enjoys the strange smells that often spill from the kitchen and Yuurei’s study. Her favorite times are when Yuurei has people over and when Yuurei takes her out to the park. Sammy has stayed out of the kitchen since her first night in Yuure's house, but otherwise is a welcome constant companion of Yuurei's. She, however, is too hyperactive and annoying for Lucia's tastes. Often, pushed or shoed out of the raevan's room, Lucia much prefers Calcifer. Calcifer and Sammy, however, get along well.

outward appearance; Ty is 5’11” and has a fairly muscular build. His skin tone is his father’s slightly lighter than Yuurei, but still tan. He has bright green eyes and blonde hair that almost looks like he bleached it - but he’ll swear up and down it’s not - worn a little long. His hair looks good no matter how he does it and he likes to screw around with it occasionally. He’s quite a tattoo buff and has tattoo sleeves on both of his arms and a large tattoo on his lower left leg. His right arm is a scene of anime girls with “big tits and tight asses”. His left arm has a whole zombie scene. And his calf is an image of a snake fighting with a bird. He normally dresses casually in ripped jeans and shirts with graphic prints on them. His favorite shirt shows Darwin’s evolution of humans from the ape to an upright human to a human standing in front of a classic video arcade game with “INSERT COIN” underneath.

It’s a very intense first person shooter RPG with a fantasy sci-fi theme.
history; Ty is Yuurei’s half-brother through her father. Ty grew up with both his father and mother – something that Yuurei is inwardly upset about. His dad joined the air force after Yuurei’s mother told him she was pregnant. While abroad he met Ty’s mother and, when he was honorably discharged, he lived with them and worked as a pilot for a major airline. Ty had a stable childhood, did well in school until high school where the typical teenage obsession with girls and partying dropped his grades into the C range. When he was a teenager his dad taught him how to fly and he has been doing that ever since. In high school he joined the wrestling team, and continues to keep up with the weight lifting to stay in shape. Since he was a kid he played video games – starting with Atari, Nintendo, and on the computer. He went to college for games design, but in the meantime began working as a tester. He got his degree and stalled in his game design for a while, but getting back into it last year, he started on this new game.

YUUREI’S SISTER

description; Ashli is Yuurei’s older sister who left home when Yuurei was 8 before their mom got sick. Yuu was visiting her when Lucia was born. She has her own family and a successful career. She’s often out of touch with Yuurei because they’re both so busy. She was cut out of her grandmother's will because of her refusal to return to see her mother before she died, or even come to the funeral. While it was a cause of tension between the girls, the issue has long since been put aside. It was actually part of the reason why Yuurei was away when Lucia was born.
 While Lucia is obviously friendly with a lot of people, there are some who she is very close to:
- Zul is really one of the best things to happen to Lucia. She cares a lot for him and they're not afraid to be themselves around each other. She can depend on him for anything, but also loves being around him.
- Pasha is Lucia's other favorite person. She things the older raevan is beautiful, and the girls are very sweet with each other. They're caring and Lucia really cares for her.
- Delia is a very good friend of Lucia's. They get along, despite Lucia's attempted homicide.
- Vyn was Lucia's best friend before Lu attacked her. They're still close, but for Lucia it's not the same. However, she does care for Vyn a lot. Just not enough to try to kill her again.
