02.07.2005 - Puzzle ok.. the Puzzle for the week is back, only this time, I will be setting it up.. Shiruberu, is extremely busy with her RL stuff.. she said she will be back later on.. sweatdrop there for.. here is the question it is black's turn .. Where should black go if it wants to servive.. Ok, black has to play at B.
Now to try and explain why (the part I am bad at). If black plays at B, then white's eyes won't do them any good. Unless white fills in one of the eyes, then black would take half of them, of course then all of the white stones are dead anyway. Argh, ok, I am horrible at explaining things, let's see...
Basically, if black plays there, white is dead unless black ends up making a stupid mistake. I'm not sure how better to explain it. Sorry! sweatdrop

I don't think that's necessary, actually. At this point, if I were playing white, I would give up on this group and go try to make another territory, one that I have a chance with. Anyway,
White plays F5 to try and get some safe stones out of this whole cursed affair, but black plays at G5 to block them off. White plays at A8 to create some kind of defensive eye, and black plays A4. White can play A5 to try and fend off the attack, and black can leave it there for a while. Black plays A9 instead, and since we've decided White has to play in this area forever, they play the one move that won't kill them, B6. Black plays A7 and takes that group. Even though all of this part was completely unecessary for white and just lost them stones.
