Basically, yes. There's a small group that must not be allowed to connect or white will have two eyes, a larger one with an eye of its own, and all the area of the puzzle is surrounded by Black to make the puzzle easier.

Yay! New one! New one that isn't an old one! Well, it looks to me as if starting at B5 would be Black's best bet, keeping alive its stone at B7. White has a couple of options to try and prevent Black from making its eyes. First, it could play at A5 (like an idiot), but then Black plays A4 and it's got its eyes. Second, it could play C4 (like an idiot) and Black will play B4. Third, white could play B4, but then Black plays A4 and it has a set of the ugliest pair of eyes I ever saw that still work fine. Last, white could play A4, but Black would play B4 and it's alive.

Appears as though White playing at B6 would indeed ruin my play. (which is not what you said, but I figured it out anyway.) Instead, if Black plays B4, there's nothing for White to do. If White plays B6, then Black plays A5. Now, whether White plays B7 or B5, Black takes the other one and it's protected. If White plays A5 in response, Black plays B6 to get its eyes. Those two are the only potentially beneficial moves for White.

What, do you want Black to take B6 and B4, and be totally boring and orthodox with it? That's no fun at all, however safe it may be.

Black plays B6. Because its large eye has five spaces, there's no effective way for White to invade. Any move it makes is one Black can counter before it fills the eye. There.

Nope, changed my mind. This will be my second guess, but the first one was wrong so I scratched it. sweatdrop
Black's first move should be at B4. Then, no matter where white plays, black will always be able to make two eyes. Do you need more than that? Just not sure how to elaborate, I guess, except for going through all of white's options. Let me know if you need more!
