Mirzam took in the chaotic scene below them, and gasped, softly, at the wash of light, bright, pure aura that swept over the area.
It was parallel and opposite to what she had felt when she first powered up, int he presence of a General-Sovereign. This, then, must be Order's answer--a Princess.
A soft gasp passed her lips, and she shivered, full body. But there was something more urgent to deal with, and something she and Cleeia could more than handle on their own--a single, lone Senshi, on their level,w ho had come up to their roof, and Mirzam grinned.
"Ooh, look, we've got company!" She said, as brightly as she could manage. The Princess was here, of course, but she wasn't Mirzxam or Cleeia's problem. This pretty thing was.
Cleeia couldn't help it. He turned towards that bright pinpoint, and gaped. This wasn't...they couldn't...no. There were plenty of other people in the Negaverse. He just had to stay close to his sister, and they would be okay.
So he turned, when she spoke, and blinked at the single Senshi who had found her way to them.
"There's two of us and one of you," he pointed out, "so if you wanted to turn and run, that'd be smart."
Oberon paused from banging the desk drawer against whatever he thought would make more noise, drawing youma slowly their way to allow civilians to escape. The Squire of Neptune yelled loud enough to get his, and he was assuming Perdita’s, attention. So the Negaverse planned on luring them into a trap? Typical.
But before he could call out his thanks, it seemed as though the Squire was having some trouble with not just a youma, but an Eternal Corrupt that showed up.
“Ah, man,” he groaned, because he really wasn’t in the mood to watch another ally get hurt. “Hang on, Deets. Gonna help-- oh…”
On his rush over to help the Squire, another Eternal aura drew closer, and managed to use their magic on the youma giving the Squire trouble. Well, that was good. But now they had a Corrupted Eternal to deal with.
“You think he cares if it’s an even match?” Oberon asked as he approached. He hadn’t seen Corrupted Senshi with short hair before, but upon further observation it was clear that he’d cut it at some point before they started their attack. “They planned this, to send out youma and hurt people. And to trap Senshi and Knights to… what, kill us?”
He wasn’t much of a fighter, not like his eldest brother, but he hated how the Negaverse so casually killed whomever they wanted.
“How many people have you killed today?” he asked while both the Squire (Sumner) and Eternal Senshi (Caliban) were there, and Perdita close by as well. Was it unfair to team up against one Eternal Corrupt (Kamacite) and their cephalopod youma? Probably. But if the blood on the Corrupt’s face likely meant they were already in a fight with someone else.
“What were you going to do once you had everyone trapped in that building?”
Their efforts, hastily thought out as they might be, were working. Perdita breathed a sigh of relief as some of the youma seemed to shift their interest to her and Oberon. They could handle youma. They encountered them all the time.
Then a Squire (Sumner) shouted to alert them of the Negaverse’s plan, and Perdita gave the building an entirely different look.
Cautiously, she stepped away from it, glancing around to ensure there were no agents lying in wait for them, ready to drag them inside should they draw too close.
Everything happened quickly, as was always the case during battles like this. There was a Corrupt Senshi (Kamacite), strong at Eternal level, and another Eternal (Caliban) who soon arrived to help the Squire. Oberon ran toward them to offer more assistance, and Perdita followed. The faster they took down these agents, the faster this operation would end in failure.
“Kill us all, most likely,” Perdita answered Oberon’s question, observing the Corrupt Senshi with curiosity.
She didn’t often see them, and while their dark auras gave her the creeps, she couldn’t help but be intrigued by them.
Cymophane came to an abrupt stop in the middle of attempting to usher a Senshi into the building, glancing over first at Taenite, then Jet. The Senshi stopped, too, and swore, so Cymophane, recovering quickly from his shock, hit the Senshi on the head and heaved his unconscious body into the building himself.
Whatever worked, right?
“So…” he began, once the nameless Senshi was sprawled out somewhere out of the way. (At least Cymophane was kind enough to put him somewhere he shouldn’t be trampled upon.) “Do we do anything about the Princess situation, or…?”
He didn’t look forward to it. That blazing aura made him a bit sick to his stomach.
Someone needed to tell that girl to tone it down a bit.
Kamacite was grateful for Squiddy’s company, if nothing else. He watched over his shoulder as the youma followed him and even helped with trying to restrain the Squire, at least temporarily.
But there was a convening of other White Moon, and soon there were at least three Senshi and the Squire against him and Faustite’s youma.
He lifted his hand to wipe at his bloody nose again, really wishing he still had his robes with him. While he didn’t care what anyone in the White Moon thought of him, it was bad enough that he was obviously not a fighter. He was thin and hid most of his absence of muscle under his robes. And while he wasn’t short these others were taller than him, or at least close to the same height. He used his assumed weaknesses to his advantage, but that didn't mean it made him feel any better about himself.
One Eternal commented on how the fight between himself and the Squire was more even with the other youma gone, and the new Eternal was asking what the Negaverse was planning once they had everyone in the building.
“Well,” he frowned, taking a purposeful step back as though trying to back down from them drawing closer. “First… Shock Breakout!” Kamacite shouted his attack once all four White Moon (Caliban, Sumner, Oberon, and Perdita) were in range, and then dove to grab Squiddy and teleported away, closer to the auras of the Generals and Princess.
While it was probably not a good idea to get closer to the Princess, there were at least a number of other Negaverse officers around, and he would need the extra support because after using two attacks and teleporting a number of times, Kamacite was starting to feel the effects of his energy running low.
“Thank you,” he said quietly to the youma between heavy breaths once they were out of the vicinity of the four White Moon, quickly checking to make sure the youma hadn’t been too injured by his attack. He wasn't even sure if youma could be injured by his attacks. And Squiddy was mostly behind the Squire… “Are you okay?”

Quote:
Eternal Sailor Attack: Shock Breakout There is a brilliant flash of light causing temporary but immediate disorientation and blindness that fades into horribly spotty vision; can last upwards of forty-five seconds. In addition to the previous issues with electrical and battery charged devices, the heat of the flash causes the sensation of moderate to severe burns, as well as the sensation of clothing and armor being heated to uncomfortable levels. There is also biochemical damage caused by the electromagnetic surge in the form of nausea, dizziness, headaches, and/or a decreased level of consciousness depending on the opponent. The potential for actual sunburns or lasting physical or biochemical damage is up to player discretion and, if desired, may require extended time to heal. Has an effect radius of 12 feet (although the flash can be seen as one would see any flash), and can be used once, twice as a last resort.

Sailor Makhaon + Super Sailor Sadachbia
The second Makhaon laid eyes on the Dark Mirror Senshi proclaiming that she had nothing to do with this incident, she darted forward with a head full of misguided justice. "Nonsense! What else would you being doing here, you Chaos-"
She was yanked back by Sadachbia grabbing her by the back of her collar hard. "This is not the time for your antics," she said. "The Dark Mirror Senshi aren't the same as the Negaverse. If she's helping get people out, then that's the most important part."
"Yeah, but-" Makhaon sighed heavily, making that "I've got my eyes on you" gesture at Varda. "Fine. We'll hash this out later, Chaos Senshi."
"I literally just said she's called a Dark Mirror Senshi," Sadachbia muttered, shaking her head. She looked Varda's way. "Do you know how many more are in the building or near it? I wonder if we ought to focus on getting the ones who are out of the building to safety instead of getting everyone who's in out. I'm wary of going in the building completely, because I bet the head honcho is in there."
Sailor Fomalhaut
Having a decent sense of timing for once, Fomalhaut managed to end up near the building before it was too late. There was already a duo of somewhat familiar senshi near the building’s entrance (she remembered, they were from that training event), and they were near another somewhat familiar face. “Excuse me, Varda, right?” she called out to the Dark Mirror Senshi. “Do you know anything about what’s going on? The current situation, if not the Negaverse’s plan?”
She hadn’t lollygagged per se, but she tended to take her time when going from place to place, and she wanted to make sure she hadn’t missed anything about the situation that could harm more than help.
Megrez didn't catch the allusion that the Page caught instead, but she had an objection ready: almost everyone was too steeped in blood to pull back. That was why everyone was still fighting. Then Benitoite showed up, and she grimaced at her memories of him. "You little s**t," she muttered, because any General that was around her height and swinging a spear around like that was definitely a little s**t.
When Ganymede instructed her to protect the Page, she nodded solemnly. "Absolutely." However, her poker face dissolved into wonder when Ganymede flourished into her Princess form, and even though she didn't, she absolutely wanted to squeal with glee. To witness this glorious unveiling made her heart race. Now things were really, really about to reach a head.
As if to give her mood whiplash, Cybele swung a half-hearted fist at Megrez, and sensing an opportunity, Megrez caught it. It was then she noticed the tears, and her face fell. It was all she could do to keep from crying herself at the sight. "Why...?" she asked. "Why are you crying? Is... there something of you left in there after all?"
She wasn't sure which was worse: having her friend completely gone, or having just enough of a shred left dangling to instill hope that she might someday return.
Mundilfari, in his typical way of being very, very bad at being powered, had only powered up because all hell was breaking loose, and he wanted to be prepared if someone bum rushed him. He still wasn't in the mood to deal with some of the seriously wacked-out youma he was seeing, so he ran off the second one even so much as looked at him. He ended up in a certain alley with an out-of-place couch that appeared otherwise vacant. Huffing and puffing, he flopped onto the very couch that Tiffany was hiding under, fanning himself dramatically.
Something wasn't quite right, though. "This couch sucks. Totally uncomfy," he muttered to no one in particular. On a whim, he looked down, and he thought he saw a human gaze under the couch. "Uh... hello? You know, aren't you supposed to sit on top of couches, and not under them?"

He's late, but he's here!
Lieutenant Cafetite
Cafetite felt something bonk into her leg, then heard a strange... growl? And then a masculine voice yelled at her and demanded answers. She looked around, expecting a senshi or a Knight, but then she looked downward near her leg, and there was definitely a cat there. Well, a Mauvian, obviously. One very pissed off Mauvian.
Cafetite shrugged nonchalantly. "I wish I knew who set this up. My Captain didn't tell me anything until we all got here." That was true, really. Paracelsian had only showed up and brought her because of a summons, and he seemed unclear on the details.
The aura washed over her, bright as bright. It was as strong as Camelot's, but different enough that Pendour could tell that this must be the Princess. Her gaze remained steely as she glanced in that direction, but she at least managed a deep breath before murmuring, "Oh. There she is."
She readjusted the woman in her arms. "I have a friend who's a Royal, but I'm not sure what their abilities are, really, especially the senshi. Her aura seems to be getting attention, though."
She could feel a few others moving in that direction. Her stomach twisted at the thought of the violence that was likely happening, but that was outside of her control.
"If that's what people are watching, we can look for the injured, maybe, and a place to protect them? I saw youma chasing people earlier, I don't want to leave anyone vulnerable." She glanced back towards the main street and started heading in that direction. "Um. You said you were in school for healthcare, didn't you? Do you know any field medicine?"
With her thumb, she tapped a heart shaped ring next to her signet. "I can heal people with this, but only a little."
One of the good things about his outfit was that he was mostly covered, so all of the ink that had been squirted at him luckily only landed on his clothes. It still felt a bit hot though but he was glad to have the layers. Still didn't make up for it looking so silly though.
He heard a voice and turned to see who it was. Apparently some Senshi that looked like a boyscout. Awesome.
Caliban couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "I'm guessing sarcasm isn't a strong point of yours." He said in reply. As if any Corrupted Eternals would care about an even fight. He was about to help the Squire and use another attack when suddenly the Corrupt yelled and he saw a great flash and his vision became spotty. That wasn't the problem though.
His uniform had become hotter and he realized that it had most likely caught on fire! He started to roll on the ground, only hoping that such a thing might be able to stop what was essentially an oil fire. He doubted it would though and so he decided to do the next best thing and rip off the part of the uniform that had caught on fire, which was quite easy with his Eternal strength. Still, he did look even dumber now with one of his sleeves having been ripped off.
He sighed but felt the rumbling of his phone in his uniform pocket on the inside of his jacket and felt a very powerful Order Aura. "Well, looks like this will probably end soon." He said as he turned to all of the others. "We either stay here and make sure we get anyone else out of the building or go to where the distress signal is. Whatever you guys want to do." He wanted to power down so that he could power up again and look only slightly less silly, but it wasn't an option right now, even in front of allies. He had a headache from the attack, but was sure it would go away soon.
Just when he thought he was going to have to run away, there suddenly appeared to be three more Senshi, one even taking care of the Youma that was attacking him and asking if the Eternal cared about something. He wasn't sure, all he knew was that he had to dodge the attack from the Squid Youma that had suddenly floated over and only just managed to do it.
Then the two other Senshi were there and before they could even try to attack the Eternal Corrupt, the Corrupt Senshi yelled something out and immediately he felt a wave of nausea and spots in his eyes, and it was all he could do to sit down and make sure he didn't fall and hit his head. He was already feeling sore from having been knocked down before. When the spots started to go away he felt like he could talk again, at least with the nausea calming down a little. "If anyone wants a boost in a fight I can help you. My magic can't do much else, but you'll get a boost to your defense at least." It had taken some practice, but eventually he had learned what the effects of his magic had been.
"Just... let me ride this out and I'll go with whomever."
Unfortunately, it appeared that his brilliant plan was bust. Most of the Youma had been dusted and it appeared that Order were gaining the upper hand. He cursed but stayed inside of the building to make sure that he caught any Order who were dumb enough to still come inside. Still, what he had suggested didn't work.
He turned the communicator on again. "Faustite, it doesn't appear that this will be working." And then he felt the Order aura which was more powerful than any he had felt before. Yep, definitely not working. "There aren't enough Youma to continue and from the auras around here, it appears that the Order finally brought in enough reinforcements. You want us to take the next step?"
Well, at least one of the Senshi believed her, but she wasn't above fighting them if she had to. 3 vs 1 seemed like it would be fun, even if she was more likely to be beaten up. It wasn't until another showed up that she realized that she had met her before. But she was glad that she wouldn't be beaten up too much today.
She shook her head. "Wish I could say that I knew more, but I've just seen people running out, Youma chasing after them, some Agents draining but now..." She looked around to see that most if not all of the civilians appeared to have scattered and it was just the magical war battle taking place. "I don't know what they were trying to do, but the building just seems kind of suspicious you know?" She said with a shrug, until she felt a very powerful Order aura.
She was sure she had felt it before... A Prince or Princess? It felt like the same type of power level as Remarque, only Order. "Wow, haven't felt that before, but it looks like you guys just got some powerful backup. Can't tell you where to go though, I've felt Agents everywhere, I think even from the building." She wasn't sure what she was going to do next either. She didn't feel too comfortable getting mixed up in all of this... not yet at least. If she were a Super perhaps she would feel like she could do more, but for now, her best bet was getting people out of there. "If you need any help, my powers are pretty much an adrenaline boost." She didn't really care if people knew. It's not like they could dodge an attack she used on herself most of the time.
Kami felt surprised at the sudden powerful Order aura that he felt and Pendour even commented that it was her. So that's what that powerful aura felt like then. He wished that he could get to that level, but he was quite happy being an Eternal as well. He probably wouldn't have been able to do much at that level anyway if he really wanted to be a good surgeon.
He put a hand on her shoulder, smiling under his mask though she couldn't see it. "I'm sure they'll be fine. They have a Princess on their side and if the Generals and other Agents are smart enough they'll back down." He said, taking a look around and then realized that Pendour had started towards the main street. He caught up to her. "Yes, basic first aid and other ways to treat wound. I can't say I know a whole lot, but hopefully if there is anyone who is very injured I can at least keep them alive till they get to a hospital." If there was one nice thing about going to school to eventually get to pre-med, it was that they focused a lot more on Medicine and treatments than anything else, even if there were some other liberal arts requirements required. They had to do at least one class a semester focusing on physical treatments at least.

I'm just going to pretend that's what DCU does >_>
Unfortunately the adrenaline boost from the energy was starting to wear off a little. It hadn't even been that long and yet it was gone already. He was pretty sure those hour-energy products were big fat lies as well. The aura still surprised him, and he knew that the Princess had years of experience over all of them, even if Beni knew some of them. And the Senshi seemed to be focusing on the egg-themed Eternal. He had caught a glimpse of something much more colorful which had brought attention to his sleep-drained mind and he teleported behind the Page before she could go much further.
He took a look at her, before deciding that he really didn't have the energy to do this. If the other two needed his help he would provide it, but even to fight a Page full on, his brain wasn't up for it. If he needed to, he would summon his weapon, but for now he didn't. "You're going to be in the way if you don't fight. I either suggest you try, or you get away from here and see if you can't help anyone else." The Page most likely had been hanging around the Princess, they were probably close, at least enough to be friends. "If you don't, you could easily become a... distraction." Honestly it probably would have been a horrible idea to do that. He had no idea how powerful the Princess was, and pissing her off seemed to be a very bad idea. He was just trying to scare the Page off for now though. And if she didn't take it well... he would probably just go and fight the Princess anyway.
Guine
Look he is just too tired for this lol, probably not a good idea for him to be teleporting then >_>
Auras were everywhere. Order, Chaos, all intersected to the point that the battlefield was an auric amalgam. Pavo sprinted in a direction that was away from the corrupt Super (Miyamoto), but the direction she picked only led her into two more Chaotic senshi. She slid to a halt as far from them as she could get, found no reason to brook their words, and turned to run back the other direction.
She was running out of places to go, however — that Super was still on her trail, and there weren't many other buildings she could jump to now. Most of rest were covered in youma, or a fight that was above her paygrade.
So she did the next best thing she could think of — heart pounding, Pavo leapt up as high as she could, and tried to sail straight over the pair that she confronted by accident. "Coming through!" She called breathlessly.
There had to be somewhere else she could go, before the Negaverse caught up with her.
"Gonna rip your ******** starseed out and feed it to my youma…" The cindered General seethed as he stalked his way to the stairs. Awkward as it was to open the door with his left hand, he compensated by leaping down to the next landing. One more leap and he was through the door before Puck had let it shut entirely. So they reached the second floor — fine for sealing off the area and burning the first.
Puck played a game with him, he knew, and Faustite leveraged the minutes he'd bought with his operation for as long as he played this game. As much as he wanted to strangle the mangy ********, he wasn't yet deprived of thought.
Faustite approached the middle of the floor's width, surmounted a desk, and spread his cinders in a wilting conflagration. There were only a smattering of sparks to preface it; Puck wouldn't get much warning if he lacked a line of sight, and Faustite banked on it. With his flames burst from his core and licking out near both walls, he sprinted over the obstacle course of cubicles and chairs to cook Puck from his hiding spot.
Better that he suffered for his stupid ******** taunts.

Meltdown ;; Range: 10' radius around user Duration: Up to 30 seconds Use Count: Up to 2x Miss Chance: Escaping range at or before the buildup stage Effect: By expending some of his core, Faustite can whip up a firestorm on a local area, prefaced by dancing cinders seconds before the burst. Inferno gusts orbit clockwise, burning anyone caught in their whorl. Friendly fire possible.
Squiddy had gone for a ride that it wasn't expecting. The Squire (Sumner) jettisoned forward and away from its arms, then Kamacite exploded the area with a frankly horrible attack, and the squid blinked several times over to clear its vision. The Squire still being in the way blocked the brunt of the flash, but it swayed with a wooziness that it lacked before. Then it was caught up by the selfsame Eternal and they were gone from one place, only to reappear in the next — close enough to the Princess (Ganymede) to unsettle the youma.
Squiddy wibbled its jelly arms while Kamacite held onto it, then blew a few dribbly bubbles in answer to him. There wasn't much to translate between the arm waving and the squelching noises, but were Faustite around, he would say the squid was basically fine.
Then the communicator in one of Squiddy's arms crackled in with Chambersite's sullen report. Squiddy wasn't sure what to do with this information — Chambersite was looking for Faustite — and the cephalopod youma thought cleverly to act as Faustite's answering machine by opening the channel and burbling into the microphone. What was supposed to be Faustite isn't here right now, this is his youma. He'll be back later sounded like the last pitiful remnants of a ketchup packet being squirted out.
Now it was Squiddy's turn to pay back Kamacite's favor in bailing them out of that mess. They were surrounded by Generals now (Benitoite, Arsenopyrite, Aquamarine, basically Cybele), and the collection emboldened the General's youma enough that it saw fit to break their stalemate. With a few pumps of its legs, the squid positioned itself between the Order group and Kamacite, aimed high, and tried to shower the lot of them (Ganymede, Paradise, Megrez) with gasolink.

Ability ;; The youma squirts a clear 'ink' substance up to 6 feet away that clings to the target. It does not penetrate clothing unless the fabric is thin or the person gets thoroughly soaked. If the substance reaches the skin, it produces a mild itching and chemical burning sensation (like getting a diluted bleach mixture on one's skin). Lasting damage is defender's choice. If the ink comes in contact with Faustite's Dispersion or Cinefaction attacks, the ink will combust. This fire burns itself out after 20 seconds unless more ink is applied. Once started, only magic may ameliorate its effects. The youma can squirt ink twice per battle.[
Puck had been planning on leading Faustite on a merry chase through the office -- but the General moved so much faster than he could have imagined! He barely had the time to secrete himself in a cubicle near the enormous glass wall-windows before Faustite was in the office, looking for him. Tucking himself down as tightly as he could, he suddenly smelled smoke.
What was Faustite made of? Fire.
"s**t…"
Peeking around the side of the cubicle, Puck saw that the office was becoming engulfed in flames, with Faustite dancing from desktop to desktop in the midst of it, trying to ferret him out of his hiding place. He looked around for another way out -- and there wasn't one. With gritted teeth he realized he was well and truly ********. The best he could do was make a mad dash past/through the flames for the exit.
He charged out from behind the cubicle and ran as fast as he could across the desktops, hoping against hope he beat the General, but not counting on it.
The sprinkler heads hindered its spread, but his fire whipped through cubicle after flimsy cubicle well enough. Papers buffeted and caught, spreading ash and cinder all over the office space. If Puck still breathed, Faustite would hear him coughing and pin him on sound alone.
But it wouldn't come to that. Just as he leapt to a desk toward the end of a cubicle set, rain-soaked and livid, Puck had dashed before him down the stretch between quadrants. Faustite teleported the short distance to head him off, then leapt with legs folded and aimed for his chest.
He struck, knees to shoulders, and Faustite's greater inertia won over, sending the pair to the ground. With flame licking wild and dying down, the firestorm of a General steadied himself. One hand pressed to Puck's throat, the other reached for the unseen cavity behind a cage of bone and sinew. "No more Pucks, not another one. Just what you deserve." He snarled, volume left at intimate.
