The academy student would need only to expend an A-Rank amount of chakra to escape the puppeteer's grip, but that was quite impossible for him. "Let the show begin!" Tetsuhiko said as he flexed his fingers and moved his hands to manipulate Kenny to throw a punch with his right hand at Nabuya's face. His intent with this was to cause mayhem and create a dazzling puppet performance...using the students! Perhaps Kasumi would move in to help his friends as well? Kenny walked away from the situation with the entrance of the puppet man just as Shisui did much earlier, attempting to avoid the disarray of the academy events occurring this fateful day. The entirety of alcohol stench from the two was starting to face, as did Kasumi's apprehension. The only thing tainting the air was the sound of puppet man's choreographed antics. The boy's eyes remained red from tears but he was not going to let emotions interfere with Tetsuhiko's mission that was to unfold.
Kasumi knew that there was no talking sense to Nabuya in order to show any respect to the Uzukage, so he remained silent. The class bell rang, and Nabuya expressed eagerness to not be in class. Opposite or Kasumi's intent, he was to bid farewell to Tetsuhiko until Kenny's body was made into an amusing marionette by strings of chakra. Kenny was helpless compared to the high level of chakra controlling his limbs.
Considering the grief Nabuya has given Kasumi, the little boy would not think about helping such a headache. However without any thought of avoidance towards helping a student rival, Kasumi created a substitution jutsu. The clone ran over to Nabuya to tackle Kenny doll to the ground, holding him down. Kasumi himself cast wooden blades from his hands that shot as small projectiles towards Tetsuhiko. "Get him Toaster!"

With this technique, the user will ‘suggest’ that the victim has mistaken him as somebody else and should carry on with his duties. Another way to use this technique is by making a victim suddenly remember that they have something to do. Another example would be like making a guard recall that they have to check the keys in at the barracks and must return to do so. The limits of this technique are obvious. Actual memories cannot be recreated, only suggestions which would allude to real memories. Landing myself at the academy after some time and getting a general look at the responders to current events I'd have taken the girl in my arms on a wild and some might say unneccessary ride. I could have put the poor gal down at anytime now that we'd arrived but I'd had lacked the sense to do so. I'd only put her down in the event that she'd remind me to do so or if she'd gotten loose of my arms herself on her own accord.
If neither was the case and the girl had remained silent and speechless she'd still be in my arms as we approached Chie. Chie would then be able to witness me effortlessly keeping the girl aloft bridal style at my chest height. She was remarkably light. At least compared to other girls. Well the only other girl I ever carried was likely investigating the happenings going on right now. I would then thusly approach the Chie of the academy with Seiko in tow or with her at my side if she'd freed herself or asked me to put her down since. "So. What's the short end of things. Chie-dono. I was told by..." I'd either look down to Seiko or to the side at Seiko wherever she found herself currently before I absent mindely uttered. "Oh uh...right I never caught your name." She might have told me on the way here and my hard head had tuned it out. In fact she could have said a menagerie of things on the way here like asking me to put her down a multitude of times but my thickness and focus at the time was solely honed on getting her safely back to the academy.

Chie was surprised at the efficiency Chouga was summoned to her. She turned to the man and saw that he carried Seiko in his grasp. She went to question when a Vortex agent appeared in front of her. "Lady Chie. The village is under attack. Your true form is at the gates preparing. I have been instructed to remain here and assist in protecting the students." The agent said. Chie's eyes widened when she was told this. She looked at Chouga as her head turned straight back down to Tetsuhiko training the kids. Her face became tense as she thought out her next actions.
"Knowing me I sent all residents to this area since I have a clone here. We need to get everyone safely secured." She said as she stood up. She turned to Chouga and gestured at his handling of Seiko. "First thing, put down the girl." She said with a sigh. "Second of all, we need all personnel to secure the kids in the basement. I had it built when I restructured the academy." She said sternly. "Take the floor with that and make sure that everyone is situated. Make sure the food rations are secured and that everyone's needs are addressed." She said as the vortex agent moved to rally the academy students and others at the academy. Meanwhile, Chie turned and faced Chouga. "Check the academy rosters to make sure all of the students showed up. If they didn't I want them here faster than a thrown kunai." She said solemnly. Chie purposefully did not give Chouga an order to retreat with the others into the basement.

__Suri cursed in her thoughts so that Rinka couldn't hear it. Despite her sisters best directions she still found herself unable to locate the academy. It was a left at the fork right? Ah DAMN IT ALL. Rinka's hand enfolded in her own Suri drifted from building to building hoping to just stumble on something or someplace to hide through blind luck.

This Jutsu disrupts the user’s brain signals, causing the nerve endings of the user to become less effective. As a result, the user is able to block out pain much easier. However, this dampening of the nerve endings is a double edged sword, as it can make discerning the amount of damage one has taken very difficult, and also greatly hampers the user’s ability to grip his or her own weapon.

Sense: Chakra // -- →→Base Duration // Upkeep: 1 Post // 20 Chakra →→Source: The user hums and everyone in hearing range is affected →→Description: This technique is quite powerful even for this stage of learning, but has certain drawbacks which help convey both its seriousness and fallouts. Using the necessary amount of the seals, the user begins to hum as if in meditation. This sound carries out across the field of a battle and affects everyone in its vicinity; including allies. Once activated, the Jutsu inhibits certain extents of rational thought by portraying the target as overly skillful. This, in turn, causes them to become overly brash and confident. And though this doesn’t necessarily improve combat effectiveness, it does block out certain skills from a victim's memory. In short, it makes them ‘forget’ to use certain techniques and only allows to them use more simple ones. In allies, this works exactly the same. Blocks B-ranked and higher defensive Jutsu from being thought about.
• Kenbou [ Forgetfulness ] →→Rank: B →→P/S. Sense: // →→Base Duration // Upkeep: - // - →→Source: Physical Contact →→Description: A somewhat whimsical and fanciful technique, this one is most often familiarized with mind control but is very much different. Using only a pre-designated seal as the focal point, the user is able to alter their Chakra to affect memories to a very basic extent by creating new ones which replace or block out anything current. For example, an enemy might come up to the user and try to interrogate their purpose. With this technique, the user will ‘suggest’ that the victim has mistaken him as somebody else and should carry on with his duties. Another way to use this technique is by making a victim suddenly remember that they have something to do. Another example would be like making a guard recall that they have to check the keys in at the barracks and must return to do so. The limits of this technique are obvious. Actual memories cannot be recreated, only suggestions which would allude to real memories. Also, these memories can be so false that a victim will realize immediately that there is something the matter and will see this as a sign of provocation. Not for combat use, but you can try!

Sense: Sense of Choice // - →→Base Duration // Upkeep: 3 Posts // 30 Chakra →→Source: Original →→Description: In this Jutsu, the user is able to tap into the mindsets of their allies and not only clear them but also protect them. Acting as a mental form of Kai, it also sets a lingering defense which aids in blocking opposing Genjutsu from affecting one out of five of the person’s senses. However, if the user is currently under the effect of an opposing Genjutsu, then they cannot use this technique. Cancels and blocks C-ranked & lower genjutsus for both the user & the target for one sense only.

__ No sooner than accepting Tetsuhiko's challenge did he get blinded by the Uzukage's cheap tricks again! "Agh! Sonuvagun! M'eyes!" He was in the midst of trying to see again after being blinded by the brief flash of fire when he heard Kenny then the Butterball, Kasumi, shouting one thing or another in his vicinity. Then there was a sharp pain in his face as he got hit full-on by the kugutsu-orchestrated punch from Tetsu and rolled back over himself a few times. "Nnggh.... ugh..." He grunted and rubbed at his eyes to try and refocus normal vision again. "Alright. Cool. No big deal!" Nabu wiped some blood from his nose with the same back of his wrist and overheard the Uzukage whining about people needing to be safely secured and throwing all the students around here in a dark and musty basement. Nabuya picked himself up the rest of the way off the ground and growled, "What the crap's goin' on now?!" He shouted, unsure of what he was actually supposed to be doing now. The damn leadership couldn't seem to make up their mind around here.

Putting a gloved hand against the leather binding of a book Plague let out an almost inaudible sigh. There had been more than a little commotion going on about the entire village and she wasn't entirely sure why. Having been on her way to the Caldera Lake to pick some herbs to study, Plague had been ushered into the Academy despite her small protests. Now she had not only been delayed from an important study session, but she was also shoved into a basement with nearly every student in the Academy. The Uzukage herself had made sure they were all safe and secure with everything they would need. It obviously wasn't a drill of some sort as she motioned to other shinobi to make sure they had supplies. Even going so far to make sure the students wouldn't leave. Normally Plague would have nothing to do with this particular room. It was dark, though there was light in the rooms it was not enough to calm her. Plague didn't handle the dark very well. In fact she was shaking slightly with the fear of it. It was at times like this she was grateful for her veil and, though none could see it at the moment, the mask she wore beneath. It kept otherwise from catching onto her fear. Not unless they could catch the minuscule amount of shaking.
Opening the leather book she held in her hands Plague quickly jotted down a quick question. She looked back up glancing around the room at all the other students. Searching for one she could ask her question too. There were many around her that she recognized from her own class, but she knew better to ask them. Most of them didn't speak to her anyways. There were quite a few she didn't recognize though. It was possible she could ask them her question should she need too. Namely it was one of the louder ones in the bunch. He looked a bit younger although he was as loud and rambunctious as most of the other students. Momentarily forgetting her question and fear of the dark, Plague stepped close to the brown haired boy and touched his shoulder lightly to gain his attention. She took a mental note that he was a bit shorter than herself as she took a half step back from him. As she waited to see if he would notice her touch she wrote down a simple question. She held up her book so that he could read it. 'Are you okay?' it read. Her hand writing neat with a bit of an extra curve to to the y's. Above that question, though it was generally meant for this boy at the time there was written 'Have you seen a boy with dark red hair named Shuusui?'
"Right"I'd put the girl down if she hadn't already gotten herself loose. I must have shaken the poor gal I brought with me unable to catch her name before receiving order. A dang shame but seeing the situation I needed to get a move on. In a rather blasé fashion I'd receive what I could only consider a copy of what could be considered an 'attendance' sheet from on of the operatives currently aiding in redirection. "Hey, ain't no kiddos gunna die today on my watch you hear." I'd place my hand on Chie's solemn shoulder before whipping my head back to the several sheeted pages with the other hand returning from her shoulder to flip through. Alphabetically it seemed the list had been gone over at least partially. "Daisuke Seto!" My voice would ring out as names were called and bodies coraled. {Finding Kids Complete}
As I read over the list on those present, a select few names more familiar than others. However, now was not the time for pleasantries...but to say I didn't spend a little extra time providing them reassurances would have been a lie. That's when I came across a name and photo in particular. Suri. Reminded me of Rinka. Though seemed a bit mature aesthetically despite the listed age. It was like polar opposites when I compared the two red-skinned kids in my head. Mm, but enough dilly dally business was necessary. "Hey I'm gonna go patrol the grounds. We're missing one." A nod of affirmation from one of the vortex, before I snapped the book of attendance listings shut.
Fortunately didn't take long. I only had to move bout two blocks over building tops for I ended up seeing a dame that fit the bill takin a moment ta get a good look round her for something. One look at the photo again n I was certain. Little red seemed ta be with her. She wasn't on my list, but just the same they seemed a might bit lost. "Hup" one big meaty leap later and I'd land in front of the lost big red. Crackin my neck I'd seem more imposing than friendly at first glance. Dark eye makeup tends to do that. Though the headband round my neck would assure that I was no bad guy. "Suri, right, if I've got the right face. Chit'n n Chat'n later. Let's get ya secure n academy bound."
Hesitance wasn't something I did often but casually hauling two bodies like I did Seiko wasn't something I could do here. At least, not conventionally. I'd yet to 'see' Rinka's impairment. "Right then up n addum." No time for questions if they were bein asked I'd flicker myself behind the two crimson ladies and with big meaty expanding palms grab em n go like a pair a dolls or that tubed yogurt. Didn't take long to get back to the academy the duo was after all almost insultingly close that one could kick themselves for getting lost. I'd then release and drop the two red ladies once their feet touched the ground. "Sorry for the man handlin, state of alert n urgency all that. Basements over yonder thattaway. Best be takin cover there with the rest of the youths and get some book learnin while things blow over n the adults get a handle on things." I'd direct this message primarily to big red after having set her and little red down. Now with the matter of out absentee missing and found. The question was what next. If big red, n little red didn't have anythin else worth sayin ta me I'd head over an report to Chie less she came to me first. {Recover Kiddos Done}

__Running along the streets Suri's frantic search started to increasingly frustrate her. What the hell was wrong with this place?! Why did it have to have to many turns and buildings DAMN IT. Once she started learning how to demolish things the first thing that she was going to do was wreck every building in this good for nothing village. Right after she got Rinka out of course.
Speaking of defending Rinka it looks like that's what she was going to have to do when a man crashed down in front of them. Not one of these village bunnies either but a real muscled warrior, although for some strange reason he had dark circles under his eyes. Jesus how little sleep does he got to get them THAT black? This is bad though. I can't let him hurt Rinka. He can get his own sister for damned sake! Leaving her sis to stand on her own Suri started to move in front of her before the man zipped in behind the both of them and heaved them up no worse for wear than when Suri used catch swamp rats. "" The initial shock of being carted around in such a defenseless and exposed manner left her face pink with embarrassment. Not that one could tell the difference in color anyway unless they were right close up.
Pride so deeply injured Suri made it a point to struggle the entire way to the academy. She knew it was useless against his strength but like hell she was going to let anyone think he was okay with being carried off anytime someone damned well please! The moment feet hit the ground she kicked up dirt at her captor. Even if he was only doing it to help the both of them Suri was never the grateful type. Plus she was fully capable of taking care of herself! Refusing to say a word to the man Suri touched Rinka's arm to help lead her into the academy's basement safely.

__ When the emergency situation began its announcement Tetsuhiko felt a spike of fear. Suddenly, a VORTEX operative appeared next to Tetsuhiko. "Jounin Hanzo, we require your assistance at the gates." He immediately shook his head vigorously. "Did you not receive the news?! I'm only a Chuunin now, I can't help!" He was suddenly now accepting of his demotion and then ran away from the danger while waving his arms in the air. In the process, he severed his strings attached to Kenny. When he found his way into the academy he shoved several children out of his way. The teachers rolled their eyes and directed him to the bunker. He jumped into the cellar and covered his beautiful face.
