Unlike when Caedus arrived before, Valhalla was no longer being threatened with death from a crack in his starseed thanks to a failed corruption attempt. He had a mark across his hand that glowed, and other marks on his skin hidden by his outfit. He knew Ganymede was wary of Caedus’ return, but Valhalla looked to this as a new opportunity.
It wasn’t every day that they were able to meet someone they’d previously helped who also just happened to be an alien from another world.
“He looks a lot better than before,” he commented to Ganymede as he stood by her side. He took a note of others who had gathered, recognizing Cybele of course. “Just let me know when I need to call Kyrie,” he half joked, because while he was endeared by his wife’s passion, it was also a bit troublesome at times.

Caedus had next to no type to reply to Hyperborea before Scylla was in his arms; he’d reached out to catch her instinctively, and he gripped her tightly. He held her, and laughed. Even with the momentum she’d built up, it hadn’t been enough to shake him “Scylla,” he greeted, with such a sigh of contentment. He squeezed her but did not hold on. He had never liked physical contact much, but for her he made an exception.
Over her shoulder, he looked at Hyperborea to answer, “I remember you. I remember all of you. I am back because I promised. Everything is very good,” he assured. There were more people arriving, and he met them with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
Cybele, Puck, and Lourdes were close enough, and apparently invested in Scylla’s wellbeing, so he released her and asked, “You have brought friends?”
Which was good, because he felt the energy signature of Ganymede, of a Royal, and immediately scanned the crowd for her.
It was a fleeting look, just to know where she was.
To be prepared.
Meta relevant information mule posts are still scheduled for every 48 hours; Caedus is just interacting while people arrive!
Yomi was out with Aokigahara on his first patrol since his purification. He was really nervous and was happy that Aoki was here with him. Then he felt a strange pull like he needed to head to the outskirts of the city for some reason. "Aoki-nii, do you feel that? What is it? It's like it's call me somewhere."
Yomi looked to the older squire for guidance. "I guess we should check it out." Yomi started making his way to where he felt like the pull was taking him along with Aokigahara.
He found a group of Order fighters mulling around and a blue alien. Yomi had very little experience with aliens and he didn't know this one at all. "Aoki-nii any idea who that is?" He asked hoping the other Saturn Squire would have more information.
Like many others tonight, Ida felt the call of something outside of town. It felt familiar, reminding her of other nights, years ago, when those of Order were called to help strange beings. Ida wasn't particularly... enthused about it, but she went, knowing whatever was happening, she'd want to be apart of it.
The dome, when she arrived, was a little concerning. She hated to feel so mistrustful, but who or what was this, and why had they set up some sort of... structure? A structure meant they intended to stay, at least for long enough to need it, but what did that mean for the city? The eternal slowed as she grew closer, her dark eyes scanning the growing crowd from under her hood.
Ganymede, Scylla... Caedus? She remembered him from that attack on the Negaverse. He'd made that possible, one of their few really definitive blows against their old enemy. Was that... Kepler, and Cybele? She'd met the pair once, separately, but it had been such a long time... and there, Tachibana, one of the Koronis. A bit of a grab bag of people, but there were more arriving, milling about as they waited to hear what this summons was about.
Since Scylla was... occupied, Ida shifted closer to Ganymede, settling into a space comfortably near her without risking getting knocked by an errant wing.
"Did I miss anything?" She asked, her voice measured and her eyes on the dome with the princess.
Hyperborea couldn't help but laugh as Scylla appeared and raced past her to nearly tackle Caedus in a big hug. "oh là là." She said shooting Scylla a sly look. It appeared the Eternal and the Alien had a very close relationship indeed. Hyperborea was happy for Scylla the older woman deserved someone special
She smiled place a hand on her chest relieved at Caedus' words. "I'm glad to hear that. Things are well on your home world I trust." She inquired making polite conversation.
Hyperborea did note all of the other's arriving, most she didn't know but some seemed to be friends of Scylla's. One new arrival that particularly caught her attention was a certain Royal. As the massive aura flared into her enhanced senses it sent Hyperborea for a loop momentarily. "Oh Princess Ganymede, Bosior it's lovely to see you in a calmer moment." Hyperborea said as her aura sense readjusted to the sudden power that it was picking up, she curtsied politely to the Royal, she had only meet her a handful of times and most of that had been in the din of battle so she did not know the woman well and she wasn't even sure if she would remember or recognize her. Still she felt it was only appropriate to greet one of the great powers in Destiny City as she arrived and made herself known.
"Oh and Ida too, it's great to see you again old friend." She was glad to see the older woman doing well. She had sadly fallen out of contact with her. She would have to make a mental note to do better about trying to reach out to old friends.

Transcendent Squire Pendour
Pendour had experienced many kinds of summons in the years she'd spend as a Knight. Sometimes, they were simple things, like auras, just a hint that there might be something in a certain direction. Sometimes they were violent, and odd, and she found herself pulled through dimensions into an awful plane full of mist and strange monsters.
This one wasn't violent, but it was powerful. It felt like a tug on her very heart, and without thinking too much about it, she followed.
It seemed others had followed, too. There was quite a gathering on this hillside at the edge of town. As Pendour looked from face to face, it was a nice surprise that there were more familiar faces there than unfamiliar ones. Several of the faces she recognized from the tea party she'd hosted a few weeks ago, which had really been such a success.
Although there was one face that was not familiar, not at all. He didn't even look human.
He might not have been a stranger to everyone, though. Some of the tea party faces seemed very enthusiastic about greeting him. Scylla was just jumping into his arms.
Pendour decided to give them a little space. She headed towards a small group of senshi, instead. Kepler from the tea party was there, as well as Athalia, who'd she'd met once, long ago. They hadn't agreed on things back then, but he'd at least seemed like the kind of person who stayed on top of things.
"Hi," she said now, her voice soft as ever. "Do either you know what this is about?"
Tachibana was just looking awkward as everyone seemed to end up in a group but there was no one that she knew. Then Ida arrived, thank goodness someone she knew and could trust. The 12 year old senshi made her way over to the Eternal rushing forward to wrap her arms around the older woman's mid section in a hug. "Ida-nee! I missed you its been too long." She said letting go of the woman. "Do you know what's going on? Who that is?" She asked motioning to the alien.
Then she noticed the princess and a transcended knight who looked a like a Viking. "Oh wow a Princess." Tachibana was very impressed by the woman with pure white wings and it seemed like she might be a friend of Ida which was great.
She was not the same confused little squire he'd seen before. She was a knight, with convictions and resolute morals. She'd been in this war long enough now that she'd settled that her goal was to not let civilians come under fire from either side. Andronicus pushed her hood back as she crossed the barrier into the large gathering of members of Order.
And the alien in the middle.
"Caedus..." she said, weaving through the crowd and eyeing the young man - or ancient young man, really - impassively. Her eyes trailed to Scylla and Ganymede, especially, who'd appeared in her Princess form. Some were ecstatic to see Caedus, but if this war had taught her anything it was that nothing good came from gatherings like this. Or Caedus' appearance himself. "You look well. Nothing like a Rift hobo anymore I see."
The Knight of Uranus's aspect flared for a moment reflexively before she got it under control. She wouldn't make any judgement calls, not yet. Yet she was not exactly... pleased to see him. It only meant one thing.
“Woah, Caedus really is back,” Oberon said mostly to himself as he paused to catch his breath upon arriving at the outskirts of where everyone was gathering. He could already see Ganymede in her Princess dress, and Valhalla, and Cybele, and a number of others, but the strange dome and Caedus.
He didn’t have a chance to really get to know Caedus during his time there, but he had dropped off some lasagna and chocolate milk for him. He was definitely excited to see him, if only because why would he be there? It had to be something important.
Not that he expected to get close. There were others who were already crowding him. Oberon had definitely grown since the last time they saw each other, so he wouldn’t be too surprised if Caedus didn’t remember him, although he claimed to remember all of them.
Sessrumnir got Ganymede’s message and made himself get up and trudge out into the night, to the hill from before. Against his chest was the strange necklace that he got from Almadel, having made the conscious decision to remove it from around his neck before powering up and putting it back on, almost like a compulsion.
Whether or not it was the intention, it did well with helping him stay grounded. He had something to focus on, other than the chaos of the world around him. Not that he let anyone see the small orb with the glowing golden lights, having tucked it under his shirt, but he knew it was there.
He’d arrived with Oberon, although he wasn’t as out of breath. He spared a glance at Ganymede and Valhalla, and the people around them, and then over at Pendour, but didn’t say anything. He was okay with standing back and listening to what had to be said.

"Given that our own kind are treating him favourably I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now," he agreed. Kepler's observation was correct and despite his own suspicions, in the grand scheme of things this genuinely could have been a social call. Though he was more inclined to believe the grand conspiracies when it came to anything powered nowadays, he did at least try to temper it with some of the optimism he used to have... Sometimes he missed being completely oblivious to this whole epic.
"The feeling however is mutual in regards to meeting people in a more pleasant secretary," he chuckled. He wasn't much for pleasant gatherings and had mostly loitered on the outskirts of at least one (including the tea party), but that didn't mean that it didn't bring some warmth to know there were others out there.
...Even Pendour who may have tried his patience with her pacifism the first time they'd met, but that didn't mean she wasn't entitled to respect.
"As for whether one person can fool several, or masses," his expression was grim for moment. "Forgive my cynicism but I do very much believe that one individual can possess that ability, even though I would like to remain on the more pleasant train of thought for this one," he reassured Kepler before turning his gaze to Pendour.
"I'll be entirely honest with you, I haven't got a notion," he offered and shook his head. "I was summoned here, walked through a shimmering barrier and now I'm in the presence of an alien," he continued and offered a warm smile. He didn't look quite as sharp in more pleasant and less hostile environments.
"Not the weirdest thing I've seen in recent years but there you go. Both Kepler and I have concluded that he has a name beginning with 'Cae' and at this point I'm sorely tempted to text the only person in my phone that may be able to enlighten me," he pulled it out and examined it.
"Do you think he would take offence if I took a picture?" He mused and then blinked.
"Actually scratch that," he muttered sheepishly. Metis couldn't see, what use would a bloody picture be to her? He really should have known better.
"All we can confirm is that there are several who seem to know him and they all seem to regard him favourably, not the most useful of information but it's something for now, no?"
When Pendour came toward them to ask if they knew what was happening, Kepler could only helplessly shrug. "I haven't got a clue. I've never seen him before."
Then Athalia's question made Keper laugh. Would he? She wanted to snap a picture of him on the senshi phone. Biting down on her lip, Kepler toyed with the idea before drawing her phone out and trying to take a completely inconspicuous picture of this alien man. He ....might be a little odd looking but he wasn't bad looking.
"Hello again, though, Pendour! How've you been?" That was the first familiar face she'd seen.
Athalia wasn't wrong. For now, she would watch and wait. Keep an ear to the ground, so to speak, to figure out if this would go south. She hoped not. It would be really fun to have more alien friends. The cats were so good to the humans, so she wondered if these would be to. Help them in the war, maybe?
With her phone shoved in her skirt pockets, Kepler looked down and brushed invisible dust off the poofy fabric.
"My thoughts on this are... similar. I'll keep a distance, but not treat him like the enemy. There are so many here, that I think we can handle something, should it go haywire."

Transcended Eternal Scylla, Senshi of The Kraken
Her friend's laugh was rich in her ear as he squeezed her carefully before letting her go. The blue-skinned man had more and more people arriving, and she could not monopolize his attention, not right now. So she tried to straighten her face and her hair, wrinkling her nose with a grin at Hyperborea as the knight called her out on her enthusiasm with an oh là là.
"I did bring friends, it seems," Scylla said brightly, gesturing to those who had gathered. "Caedus, meet Cybele, Puck, and the squire Lourdes." So far she recognized most of those gathered from one event or another, if not by name then by face. Stepping back, she beamed at the trio, reaching out to pat each of them on the arm with nervous, excited greeting. She needed something to do with her hands, to keep her from trying to hug her old friend again, so she just kept tapping them against whichever of the three would let her, unless they grabbed her hands and stilled them.
"I've known Caedus for a while, though he's been gone a few years now.", Scylla assured Lourdes, "He has been a good friend to me." she turned her attention to his face, taking in the new clothes., and... well. All the things she had ignored about him in the blind delight of recognition. A uniform, the crystals, the lack of the cape he had sometimes let drape over her shoulders when she was particularly distressed or cold.
She wheezed a laugh, covered as a cough, as Andronicus so bluntly shared her opinion of his former garb. "She's right, you know. You look much less like a 'rift hobo'." the agreement was cheerful. "Your fortunes seem much changed. And it looks like you come with better news than the first time we met you?" she nodded to the barrier behind him, the slight, soft distortion of the dome.
Transcendent Eternal Encke, Senshi of Plasma & Viatrix, Guardian Cat
The lure of the energy signature was unmistakable and pulled Encke from everything he was doing. He shot a glance to Basiluzzo, murmuring that this could potentially be something worth checking out -- likely something bad, considering recent history, but since Caedus' recent call, Encke had been on a hopeful alert that something that didn't feel quite chaotic might have been the return he was promised.
The return he hoped for.
Perhaps that was what had kept him a bit bouncy and jittery all the way until they found the source of the press, the source of the press that completely broke Encke's current modus operandi and caused a mildly worried expression to break out into a wide grin. No way. No way. "Caedus!"
Without acknowledgment of those he was walking with, he burst ahead of Viatrix and Basiluzzo, leaving the guardian cat mildly baffled in his dust as he broke the distance and realized, with some amusement, that there were quite a few people already surrounding his friend. It left him sheepish, for a moment, wondering if he was intruding, but he lifted a hand to wave and offered a bright, "Good to see you outside of a screen, Caedus!"
'Yes, I think I might like to embrace you when we see each other again.'
Were his eyes a little misty? - Aw, who was he kidding, of course they were -
If Caedus allowed it, Encke broke the distance and offered a hug.
Viatrix glanced up at Basiluzzo, blinking as Encke ran off ahead of the both of them. "So, uh, that's Caedus," she murmured, as if she was trying to keep a secret, settling quite happily in his arms as if she expected him to carry her over there. "Would match the description of tall blue mysterious alien -- uh, we should probably catch up with him, right?"

Sorry, he's excited - Viatrix is giving Basi the opportunity to hang back or take her over if he wants!
Sparta did not know this uncannily human looking person. He was, though, now used to the pull and push in a direction towards something supernatural. Whether it was his own internal radar or the universe literally pulling me across space and time, he was getting used to it. Sorta. It was weird, and he always kept worrying Ezra would kill him for it. But someone had to answer the call, right? Right?
He stepped through the barrier to find a large group of senshi and knights around said alien. Someone hugged him, others chatted around him. There was-- was that a Princess?! First off, how. Second off, how did she move in that outfit. It was incredibly impressive. He'd never seen a princess before. Like. Ever.
Man Ezra would be jealous. He really should like... let him know. That he was here. And all the stuff going on. Sparta pulled out his phone from the weird little subspace pocket he always put it in when he went on patrol and sent a quick text.

Ezbby missing all the fun outside of town. A royal AND an alien!
He spotted Athalia in the crowd and trotted over, waving. "Athalia! Good to see ya again man!" Sparta grinned and made to fist bump him, if he was receptive. "Who's the drow everyone's fawning over?"
Caer was, to say the least, nervous. A strange call--after her near-corruption, it felt like a risk to go to a large gathering. But that was what had saved her, wasn't it? The arrival of so many people on their side?
Besides, as she got closer, she felt a powerfully bright aura--stronger than ay she had felt before--and it made her pick up her pace.
When she arrive,d she had to pause for a moment and gasp. There was a woman, absolutely radiant, with bright white wings and a beautiful ballgown. This...this had to be what people were talking about when they spoke of a Senshi Princess.
"Oh," Caer said, voice soft, but she only paused for a moment, lest she be spotted in undignified staring. Her goal was Hyperborea, and the stranger she was talking to--
A very inhuman stranger, and one that many people seemed happy to see. There was someone else there she recognized--one of the Eternals that had helped cover her escape from the Negaverse.
"Ah, hello," she said, and she moved next to Hype, putting a hand on her arm. "Hype, who's this? Someone you know?"
A real alien, it seemed, from somewhere far away--how exciting!
