((..... wtf Ialo got teargassed.))
((And yes, Ophi did notice Lin was gone.))
((IIiiii have no idea what to post. So I won't. Well, I sorta know. I know Ophi would see the commotion from the belltower. And Ialo, naturally, is FREAKING THE ******** OUT. But I don't feel like putting a coherent post together tonight, lol.))
((Hmmm, what will Setsuka do?))

Mitsuki10191 ((...I got nothin.)) "Ah, I'll be teaching the 'Mystical Creatures' course starting at the beginning of next week. I'm afraid there's no class to distract or teach at the moment." She said on a little laugh. ((Well, that's something I suppose.)) ((No problem! I just wished there was a sudden attack on the school as a filler, and then Eylios can have enough time to bring in the next arc.)) Kan-Shin smiled "Oh so it wasn't that long ago then!" Kan-Shin sighed "I don't care what I teach in this institution! As long as I get to teach something, I am alright with it! Besides I only stayed here for such a short time that I regret graduating early!"

((Right... to lazy to read everything I missed. <.< Sorry I've been gone so long. >.< I'll be time running the Tower to the next day in a bit so that it's not quite... frozen. And, Love & Doom might actually do something for a change.))
James laid in bed, keeping his eyes shut as he started to wake up. He didn't want to move... his body was completely sore, like he'd just finished running a mile with weights in his hands... and his mouth. He felt his shoulders crack as he moved in the bed, making a vague attempt to get his limbs to move... but they didn't seem to want to. It was almost like someone was sitting right on top of him, keeping him from getting up. That was sort of ridiculous though... who would want to do that? And there wasn't any pressure on him that would signify that someone was doing.
A pillow over his face he could probably understand, there were plenty of people that didn't like him.
Now now, you have to stop thinking like that.
James' eyes shot open as he heard the voice... but there wasn't anyone around, there wasn't anyone that could've said it... was there? It didn't sound like one of the spirits. Those were usually a little more vague... whispery, like they were just barely in the same room that he was. This one was deeper... darker... more commanding and forceful. One of the school's telepaths maybe?
At the foot of the bed, he saw the souls beginning to spin around each other, merging together into a single body. It had shoulder length blood red hair, purple eyes, ghostly white skin, and armor so black it seemed to drain the color from everything around it. It's lips began to move, but it was blatantly obvious, to James at least, that the form wasn't talking, but its voice was somehow... in his head.
Took you long enough to wake up. Not to mention break the first seal on the power of the scythe... not that I can blame you, you are more terrified of your own power than you are just about anything else.
James stared at the figure, not quite sure what was going on in the slightest. He started to move off the bed, finding the ability to stand up again. He found his scythe and sketchpad sitting next to his bed as he got up. He watched a soul wander through a wall and become a part of the... creature that was standing at the foot of the bed. "I don't know who... or what you are... but leave me alone."
Well that's unexpected...
The creature seemed to be ignoring James entirely now and he started to slink away, trying to make it down the hallway before he got the... thing's attention again.
Now now, no trying to slip away now James. You and I need to have a serious talk... but maybe it would be better somewhere more private. If you insist on actually talking with me like I know you will, you will look a touch insane talking to something that is not there.
James looked confused as the thing had vanished, and he spun around on his heel, looking out into the hallway and around the room. It wasn't anywhere to be seen... he couldn't even see the souls anymore. And he could always see the souls.
They listen to me, James. Your spirits can't come near you if I don't want them to. In time you will be able to do it yourself, but for now I shall do it for you. Also, stop calling me a thing. Call me... Reaper.
"Real... creative name," James muttered, moving more quickly in the direction of his room, praying he didn't bump into anymore disembodied voices. Seeing the dead was fine... hearing voices not so much. Maybe he belonged locked up in a mental institution instead of in a school for magic.
Now now... what did I tell you about thinking like that?
((Only James can hear Reaper, his thoughts are in James' mind. Even if you read James' mind, you won't hear him.))

Ialo stared dumbfoundedly as Silas smiled, and left with Isaac. "... What the hell was that all about?" He couldn't help but to be nervous, drumming his fingers on Seven's case. "What do I do, what do I do? What in the world just happened?"
"What is that...?" Ophiuchus leaned out the belltower and and almost choked on nothing but air when he saw a helicopter and a swarm of police converge near where Ialo's office was. "..... Oh, he's a goner. Danni, stay put, or YOU'LL be a toad."
Ten minutes later, Ialo still wasn't sure what had happened, but he was getting a pretty good idea. It involved police, and guns, and tear gas - oh lord, the tear gas. Even if he was effectively blinded by the attack, at least his ability to sense auras was intact. Hence, the officer behind him who got knocked flat to the floor by a dragon tail. And the one to his right who got a fist in the face - the guy was damn lucky he was wearing a gas mask, otherwise he would have had a broken nose. Of course, the officers were equally displeased. There were easier things in the world than trying to take down a dragon that was more than willing to fight back.
While doing his damnedest to stay put in his office, Ialo also sensed that Ophi was reaching out to him, about to say something telepathically, most likely. Ialo screamed at him first.
"NO! Stay out of this! I need you HERE!" The dragon realized that Seven was there on the desk still, in laptop form. Hell, if Silas wanted to take over the school, just for money's sake..... Ialo suddenly realized where he had heard that name before. Not in school, no, he didn't remember that. But, another company. Oh hell, another company. Another company with a branch on electronics - there was no way Silas was getting his paws in Seven - or Zero. Those two were machines Ialo built as personal projects, and they utilized technology in manners that was far, far above what Enlil Corp. put on the market. Seven, and Zero, and the whole Blue Storm series could not ever, ever.... it just couldn't.
"Stay low," Ialo commanded Seven and Zero telepathically. His thoughts were hectic, but they were at least coherent. "Clean up after I'm gone, and hide!"
Ophiuchus winced, Ialo's mental voice was so loud. "Yes, fine, I'll stay here...." He was right, it would be better that way. Police were taking Ialo away... on what charges? It must have had to do with the man and limousine minutes earlier. That was most certainly suspicious. In any case, Ophi had to stay and protect the school. Even a lower-level healing god like him was a force to be reckoned with. "But not right here!" He teleported directly to the clinic, after shooting Danni with a threatening glare.
At the clinic - well, only one other person was there, Athena. "Athena!" Ophi practically barked. "Don't you dare leave that cot!" The healer grit his teeth and scowled. The Headmaster was being taken away by force, and one of the Serpent's patients was AWOL. "Where did James go?!" And for that matter, where the hell was Lin? After her outburst last night, Ophiuchus wasn't entirely surprised when he felt her aura disappear from the school grounds. But where was she now?
It didn't matter. Ophiuchus didn't need her. Lin was helpful, but the White Serpent had worked alone for far longer than she was alive, and would continue to work alone if that was all he had to rely on.

"Wait, what? What the hell are you doing? Or going?" She demanded, and would've gone after him if her stomach hadn't jerked, and she staggered back a step as Ophi left.
"Fine, leave me. I'll just...hatch my spirit spawn alone." She muttered, and wished fervently for some antacid as her heart seemed to squeeze and burn.
"Nasty little b*****d." She muttered at her stomach, and sank into her chair again as her stomach twisted and her heart pounded. But nasty little b*****d or not, apparently this was part of her punishment. So apparently she deserved it. So she'd keep her mouth shut...In public.

((oh jam! a glimpse into some of the s**t Riser gets into when he's not with the group))
"...and when that day arises, you shall wish that you meant something to this world, to these people, to-"
"That is a lie! How dare you patronize me!"
"I'll remind you, Sun' Rai, that you stand accused of plotting a genocidal campaign against humanity, and that-"
"I am the first, and I will be the last. How often do you envision your death Chancellor? How often have you thought about the very moment where your existence forever crosses to the other side?"
A figure across the chamber stood up and sharply slammed it's fist against the wall before screaming, "Relevance!"
The Dark One quickly answered this interruption with a single bolt of energy as black as pitch. Had the figure anything more to contribute, the steaming hole in it's chest would assure it could not. "Denied. Chancellor, I stand before you and the entirety of The Esteemed Last Council of the Gods with but one thing to say," He paused momentarily, looking carefully at his right hand as all in the chamber began to lean in in anticipation of what he might say next. "When the smoke clears you can see the sky again, There will be the chopped off heads of Leviathan."
"What foolishness is thi-" Before he could finish, a massive, spiked tentacle had found its way straight through the chest cavity of this Chancellor of the Gods, each spike multiplying within to wreak as much havoc as possible, leaving the body in a state of uncontrollable hemorrhage.
He turned his back to them, and as he did, each one fell with a revealing thud. None beyond the council were harmed in this volley of blows, and as he went, he turned to them and spoke. "Never again shall they see the sky, a sky stained black under my rule! Let all who hath seen my fury, go forth, and spread the fear. Spread the fear of your god! Until all corners of the wind shake with terror at my approach!"
He pushed open the heavy stone doors, and stepped outside.

((Well yeah, but I have no clue what the little spirit spawn feels like coming out, so I'm just going for it. Like I'm going to do now. If there's anything wrong with it, just let me know and I'll change it.))
Danni blinked, cursed when she felt something practically tearing out of her heart, and the spot over her heart seemed almost to glow.
"Oh, s**t..." She muttered the words moments before a blinding flash had her slapping her hands over her eyes, scowling.
"Bloody frigging hell!" She scrubbed at her eyes, but as the blinding light began to fade, she heard a little giggle, and what sounded suspiciously like little feet padding across the wood floor.
Slowly, reluctantly, Danni spread her fingers, peeked through them. And jolted back in her chair with a shout when she found an impish face dominated by huge gray eyes only inches from hers. Off balance, her chair toppled backwards, and she went with it. Her head cracked painfully against wood, and she was cursing even as she reached up to rub the knot that had formed on her head.
"You gets a boo-boo, Mama?" The voice was high, and with a silent oath, Danni risked opening one eye. And wished Ialo to hell. Standing in front of her was a short little toddler, a boy despite his high voice. Those gray eyes really did swallow up his face, and he'd been speaking around his thumb, which was stuck securely in his mouth.
His hair was auburn, curly and flying every which way, a few curls falling over his eyes. He was dressed in nothing but a pair of dark denim overalls, and one of the straps had fallen half way down his arm. Under his arm was tucked a Raggedy Andy doll that looked as though it had been dragged many a time through the mud.
"Mama?" He spoke again, and with a groan she dragged herself up, getting to her feet and pulling the chair up with her until it was back on all four legs once more.
Shaking her head, sure she was having a psychotic episode, she rubbed her hands over her face, and froze when she felt a tug on her pant leg.
Dropping her hands again, she looked down to see the toddler's little fist gripped around her jeans, tugging as he stared up at her, his lips curved around his thumb.
"Let Poopsie kiss your boo boo better, Mama!" He said, and to her terror, puckered up his lips, slipping his thumb out and tipping his face up.
Oh, Jesus Christ. This wasn't happening. This was NOT HAPPENING. There was NOT a small child standing in front of her, and he was NOT calling her MAMA.
"Um...First off, not your mama. Not even close. Second...No touching. Ever." She said firmly, and stepped back. And her blood froze in abject horror when those puckered lips trembled and his eyes filled with tears. His arm seemed to strangle the poor rag doll.
"Ok, ok, stop that. Stop that now...What's your name?" She asked in desperation. God, she wasn't cruel. She was just...going to kill Ialo with her bare hands.
"P-Poopsie." He said, and though tears still threatened, his lips were no longering trembling. She merely blinked, her eyes blank.
"No, seriously. What's your name?" She asked, and when he repeated what he'd just said, she thought fondly of banging her head against a wall.
"Um...Ok...Poopsie..." Yeah, that definitely had to go. "How'd you like to be called...Pete...or...Paul?" She asked, but he shook his head, popping his thumb back in his mouth.
"No, I Poopsie. I'm Mama's Poopsie Poo. Can't I kiss your boo boo, Mama?" He asked, and she did the only thing she could think of when the boy took a step forward. She went into full retreat.

Athena blinked at Ophiuchus. "Yeah, oka--wait, what? Why? What if I have to pee? Oh, right, he went... um... this hand's right, right? Then he went left--who was that guy, anyway? James?" She furrowed her eyebrows, slumping in her cot. She recognized the guy and the name, but the puzzle pieces just didn't want to click. She probably just needed to wait a while. She'd been asleep after all. Maybe in... a couple hours, she'd figure it out. She was smart, after all, no matter how much other people wanted to deny that.

Ophiuchus almost sighed, but he held it in. Athena had likely just woken up, he couldn't exactly expect the most coherent response from her. "Alright, if you really have to go, you can use the bathroom in here." He didn't feel like washing bedpans anyways, even if it only took a second with the right spell. He was too worried about other things. James was one of them. Oh, Ophi was confident that if the boy had enough energy to get up and leave the clinic, he was probably fine. But still, Ophi was the type of man who often also thought of his patients as his children. At MFHS, they were, in a sense.
Wherever James had gone, Ophi would see him again soon. And, demand the student return to the clinic for a check-up.
