Super DMS Hela
Action: Making a path with her light towards Asuka with Irenaea 4+1 = 150% Success

There were... so many of them but the things seemed so much less angry than the other bugs were. "Where's that friend of yours?" Looking around with her mag light, Hela made her way in the general direction of where she figured she was supposed to go. Luckily the bugs seemed scared of the beam of light and she just ended up gently kicking the things out of the way as she went.

Passing by all sorts of senshi, she kept her pace up to not get noticed even if she had a light. "These things are kinda cute... not as gross as the other ones, right Irenaea?" Turning back to look for a moment as she nudged some more away. They reminded her of roly polys even if they were massive and she really only decided to stomp one when she saw them starting to spew acid at some of the other mirror senshi. "Ick..." Okay maybe they weren't that cute if they still spit gross acid.

Super Corrupt Kafka
Action: 4-1= 3 (100% successful) Trying to use super rank magic to weaken a batch of pods for the Witherite and Beni to Poke

Getting a sight of the Queen, Kafka very much was content with the idea of not coming back to space again. "Oh... merde..." Again cursing he felt some of the kosospods biting at him and one of them had spit acid a his foot. Eating through his boot, he jumped and struggled for a moment before kicking the thing across the floor.

"Mon ange, a little help please?!" Stepping back as more of the angry little things seemed to surround him. Bumping against something he cringed and decided now would be a good time to use his magic.

"Consume." It was a whisper more than anything as he pulled his hands over his mouth and threw them outwards. Hopefully, these little monsters would react just as people normally did, hopefully without causing them to puke more acid up because the skin where his boot had been eaten away hurt and he was hoping they wouldn't hit him in the same place again.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Consume.

Kafka says the name of his attack and pulls his hands towards his mouth before throwing them outwards. Those who are in the area of effect feel a medium-sized drain on their body as if their resources are being used up. This may take the form of shortness of breath, fatigue, hunger, a darkening of vision, or a migraine as if from dehydration. After the magic fades there may or may not be a bit of the effect lingering but it is up to the player.

Targovishte, Squire of Jupiter
Action: Suffering, Trying her best, stomping around...hoping Belmont will be able to just pick her and Connie up and take care of this like the big strong man he is.
Roll:
1

Targovishte wanted to be confident. She wanted to say something to help the pretty girl calm down a little–Connie. She wanted to do a lot of things…but that just…

It wasn’t on the table. In fact. Her remaining on her feet wasn’t on the table as more than should be legal of these…things swarmed her and she ended up flat on her back, with the feeling of awful, terrible little legs on her. That would have been the worst of it, but the fact that one spat right at her and seemed to melt through her sleeve…thankfully she had managed to get her arm up and she gave a scream of terror, disgust and just plain unhappiness. “Maybe…maybe you can give us both that piggyback ride, Belmont…”

Her words were weak as she struggled to get up, summoning her staff and trying to use it to leaver herself. At least she managed to shove it into the soft underbelly of one of the horrible creatures…and seemed to at least deter it from continuing to crawl on her.

Lt. Brassite
currently: 150% success - texting while driving (her foot through some pests)

While her general was thinking positively of Brassite's confident and savvy use of her tablet, the Lieutenant was texting on the device's messenger app. To be fair, her fingers flying across the screen with rapid competence did make it look like she was doing something very smart and technical on it.

Almond was absolutely full of s**t about the whole No Queen thing, huh? Some of the giant bugs were like, circling around her, closer and closer, their antics making them, for a moment, seem more like little pug dogs than giant gross things. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the MEGA QUEEN the size of a ******** bus, she might've just like, taken some kind of pity on them. But as things stood, Brassite was indeed a Florida Girl and she knew a thing or two about infestations of nasty little ********>

The fat buggies may have been seeing her as some sort of potential savior or friend the way they moved toward her, halting and hopeful. Well, she thought, kicking one over with her foot and giving it a precise stomp to the tummy, the least she could do was make it quick. She'd never liked a living creature to have to suffer.

"Don't worry, sirs! I can keep the ones on this side at a distance!" See how great she is, boss? See how awesome your hubby's lieutenant is, Mr. Melp?

Bringing her foot up once more, kosopug guts flying up, she performed the move over and over again, turning it into an activity that vaguely reminded her of school soccer practice.

Eternal Corrupt Beatrix
Action: Punting and stomping 4-1= 100% Effective and the stomping spree begins.

One by one, a group of the things started getting curious, a bit too curious if you asked her. Trying to chew on her heels, she laughed as they seemed to just... suck at it until one of them spit acid at her. Well... that sucks..., for them that is. There wouldn't be another shot for those things to spit acid at her as she started kicking them away.

Looking over at Meissa, she paused for a second and watched her roommate freaking... feeding the things. "Oh, ef that. No, ya don't lil koso....whatevers!" Moving over she full-on punted the thing like she was at one of the mosh pits in her concerts.

"They cannot come to the place, new rule, no space hoovers." Joking as she went about crunching the things with her spectrally armored heel.

She couldn't see Chrys among the mess but hell if she was gonna let these gross things mess with her and Meissa. She had to do a good job, after all, the bossman said so. Even if she still hated taking orders from men, it had come across all the coms so she had to listen. Not that she wasn't about to stop wrecking these things because it was pretty fun if she was being honest. Whooping as she sent one off into the air, she hoped it was going to hit one of those order dicks. "FOUR!"

General Chalcanthite

Action: Whacking them back and away 3 = 100% success

Feeling more than a bit of disgust at the sight of the queen as well as the fact that again, Almadel hadn't checked things fully before deciding to ask for help, Chalcanthite took to smacking the things over with his bow, sending the things back and thoroughly stunned. One by one he battled them back towards Melpomene to stomp on because at least their boots would keep the mess off their skin.

Checking on Brassite, he was glad to see her doing well, honestly maybe a bit too well as if she had experience with such a thing even if he knew it wasn't possible that she'd been to space before. Hearing the message come through on his com, he smiled a bit and had no problems with assisting the dark mirror senshi in this endeavor. Keeping his eyes out for any order senshi or knights that sought to draw closer, he missed one of the kosopods and felt an itch on his leg from where one of them had decided to try making him a snack.

They were, disgusting, and reminded him of some sort of warped lobster or other crustacean. A passing thought went by, the idea that maybe his youma might like one as a snack, he shook his head at the thought of trying to wrangle one. Deciding to just kick that offending one that had bit him, he watched as it skittered across the floor and left a mess behind it and on his shoe. "Absolutely vile... Almadel may need to do more than offer us trinkets for this. The negligence and lack of attention... I swear." Bumping into one of the crates, he had a mind to see if anything interesting might be lying in one but for now he needed to keep an eye on things.

DMS Irenaea - Senshi of Widow Spiders
Action: Trying to watch Asuka's back and failing.

Asuka was just as she remembered her. Full of verve and something that Irenaea was hoping she could emulate in the future. Her gaze took in all the occupants in the room before the sound of skittering seemed to increase the more that Almadel seemed to fiddle with the electronics in order to get a steady light streaming down onto the floor. What sounded like millions of legs tip-tapping away as creatures moved too and fro almost reminded the veiled senshi of what it would sound like if there were a horde of rats living in someone's walls. The sound sent shivers down her spine before chaos literally erupted into the room.

A giant kosopod emerged, bowling over a few unlucky agents of chaos and what also appeared to be a senshi or two as it desperately tried to flee back to the giant nest on the wall. A flash of gold skittered by the veiled senshi only to draw the complete attention of a nearby cat that ... and well, the rest of the room began to either deal out damage or take damage from the horde of creatures that descended over them.

Irenaea was trying to watch where she stepped as kosopods began to idly circle around her and remembering what Asuka had wanted to check out, she began to windmill her arms around a big in order to catch the attention of the creatures that were near her. Maybe her efforts were a little too effective and soon the Senshi of Widow Spiders was completely surrounded. Still, unlike some other individuals who were dealing with the issue at hand, her welcoming committee didn't seem all out inclined to attack. It just sucked that there were so many of them. Tearing off her veil and wrapping her hands up in it as some mild form of protection Irenaea began to individually pick up one kosopod at a time before nimbly flipping them over to rest on their backs. Maybe there'd be a hand from another friend to finish them off while they were upside down. "Hela, this is all too eerily familiar from last year's adventures... eww"

Even as she tried to flip over another kosopod did the back of her right foot come crashing down on a flipped 'pod, causing it to burst open. That did not endear her to the other creatures who could still skitter around. At first she'd been an unknown entity ... now as the hissing increased in volume did a few decide to attack en mass.

Captain Nagyágite
Dice Roll: 2 - 1 = 1; aggressive kosopods
Action: Getting yote by the Queen and swarmed by aggressive kosopods; attempting to spit poison to....very little success.

Shining a light had not been a good idea.

Nagyágite had that realization all at once, in dawning horror, right as what had to be some sort of hive queen kosopod came barrelling towards and through him. He was slow to dodge, something that he would have berated himself for if the situation weren't rapidly getting very, very bad; he went off his feet and ended up sprawled on the ground like some kind of idiot with zero grace. At least he'd managed to avoid knocking into any artifacts.

Naturally, it got worse.

He'd pulled himself into a sitting position, but not quite off the ground, when the smaller kosopods arrived.

And they did not look happy to see him.

"Ah, s**t," he said, and that seemed like the understatement of the evening. When one lunged for his leg, he kicked it, and striking it in its underbelly seemed to work to knock it away--stunned or killed, he didn't really care, ******** these stupid things, and he was so glad their orders from General-King Jet were to kill the stupid bastards--but it absolutely did not discourage the others that came to swarm and bite.

Nagyágite hissed, hood flaring out, a threat display of the snake-beast he'd become thanks to General Rajadrohite's stupid, shitty, shortsighted methods, and while he scrambled backwartd,s forcing himself to his feet to get away, he hissed and spat poison of his own at the little ******** that it seemed nearly as effective as the acid splash that hit him in the leg, which had him hissing i pain and immediately reaching down to yank off his boot before it spread much further.

He hissed a string of colorful Telugu curses under his breath, including a couple of suggestions regarding the honor and piety of the queen kosopod--not that he thought they'd understand, but it helped him vent his frustrations.

[1st Dice Niflhel, 2nd Dice Byakko, 3rd Dice Tea]
[Niflhel, Knight of Saturn x]
Action: Wangling Kosopods with his chain and punching them (150% success); looking to see if anyone needs/wants help.
Previous Dice: 67
Current Dice: 4

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Niflhel was caught by surprise when the kosopods actually showed themselves and there was a fairly large gathering of them indeed. The whole room was in chaos....

The amount of chaos from the kosopods and the people fighting them caused Niflhel a little bit of anxiety, this still screamed trap. He heard Almadel call he almost had the lights fixed from somewhere. This was not Niflhel's idea of fun but he decided the best course of action was probably to try and blend into the shadows and take out as many of the kosopods as he could.

The group that approached him seemed very curious and was pushing each other out of the way to get to him, the occasional one spitting poison which he managed to dodge some but not all catching the tails of his coat and he watched the jacket start to be eaten. "Oh boy I'm going to have to watch out for that..." He muttered.

He aimed his chain at one of the more excited and jumpy looking of the bugs snatching them up once his chain wrapped around it he then aimed a punch to see what kind of damage he was able to do, the first one wasn't really successful beyond sending it flying though it didn't seem to like his chain. The second one he caught it's underbelly and he seemed to think . . . compared to the first one that felt rather soft there, sooo he decided aiming for the underbelly would be his new course.

He continued to snatch up the kosopods and punch them as he looked around to see if there was anyone who might need help. He did unfortunately manage to get some of the acid on his sleeve. "Oh.... this sucks." He muttered as he felt a little bit of it starting to get to his skin. 3 layers of clothing obviously wasn't enough.

Quote:
4: 150% success (Not only do you achieve your goal easily, you are able to work miracles; whatever you are attempting to do this round, you see great success! You can still choose to be inconvenienced or harmed by Kosopods.)

Quote:
♱ Knight Weapon - Thin chain, this can magically bind/redirect the target, however they won't latch if the target is out of range (more than 10 feet). This takes a lot of Niflhel's concentration for the shackles not to break, if he loses concentration they release the target. Also if the shackles are held too long (around 1 minute) or Niflhel gets tired they are easy to break free of. This attack slows/hinders most movement, Niflhel could also try to move/throw someone. However, this actually depends on how he's progressed since being a knight. It could be possible for Nifhel to move/displace/throw others around, this depends heavily on their current power stage as well as a few other factors (since Azzo isn't a weight lifter he might find throwing a big foot youma weighing 300 lbs a bit hard... this works best with anyone under Nifhel's current level). Throwing people/youma the chains unlatched as soon as they're thrown most of the time letting go when the mass is in mid-air.

As servants of the planet of death, the ghost-like demeanor of Saturn Knights is incredibly fitting. They always appear somewhat cast in shadow and their movements are completely silent, making them masters of stealth.

[Sailor Byakko, Senshi of the West x]
Byakko's Action: Using her attack to damage kosopods (100% success) There's a brief wind from the west blowing.
Baykko's Previous Dice: 66
Byakko's Current Dice: 3

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Checking out the display cases didn't last long as Byakko noticed the kosopods had showed themselves, "Aw.... s**t." She muttered as she watched the Chaos break out.

She moved and suddenly her sister was gone and they were separated from each other. Byakko frowned heavily she hoped Tea would be okay. She found herself approached by the kosopods they were cautious but still shoving their way to her. She wasn't sure if she could frown any harder but this was very concerning and almost over whelming.

She called her attack hoping it worked okay in the building, "Tiger Stalks from the west!" The wind started to blow and she managed to hit one of the larger kosopods with the attack and she made a small whine not realizing this wasn't a great attack to try to use since it didn't have an area of effect. The senshi started kicking the rest of the little kosopods that weren't hit by the wind and magical leaves.

"I'm going to have to file a complaint to someone about this magic. . . or lack there of it's rather unimpressive." She mused. She was trying to avoid punting the little critters into the glass cases when one of them spit acid on her shoes she squeaked. Oh this wasn't good!

Quote:
3: 100% success (you achieve your goal without much hardship; you may choose to be inconvenienced by Kosopods or harmed by them, but you should find yourself proud of what you are able to accomplish)

Sailor Senshi Attack: Tiger Stalks from the West

Byakko summons her attack and a soft crisp wind starts to blow from the west, billowing up small sized leaves around her. Slowly the wind starts to kick up and Byakko throws her arms forward hands held out like claws and the wind whips in the direction towards her target causing the leaves to hit them. The leaves can leave up to really shallow cuts, much like paper cuts.

For this attack Byakko can only hit one person. The attack lasts about 30 seconds and causes light damage. She can use it twice per battle.

[WIP]

[Sailor Chibi Tea, Senshi of Mice x]
Tea's Action: Trying to kick off bugs with her ballet flats (75% successful) and looking to see if anyone needs healing. Checking on Coco.
Tea's Previous Dice: 17
Tea's Current Dice: 3 - 1 = 2

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Tea's question about the Kosopods not being that big was answered fairly quickly with the chaos that broke out into the room.

She hadn't noticed but in the chaos she'd wondered from her sister and suddenly she'd lost Byakko "Hey Byakko, do you think this was a ba---" She paused as she looked towards where she thought she'd last seen her sister and realized the older senshi wasn't there.

The chibi pouted but it didn't last long as the Kosopods that came up to her were aggressive and making attempts to grab her feet and the tail on her costume. Tea was moving quickly trying to out pace the kosopods when she encountered a cat person who was on the ground, "OHMYGOSHAREYOUOKAY!?" She ignored the kosopods long enough to offer her hand to Coco "Wanna team up?" She asked as she finally kicked at one with her ballet flat aiming for what she thought was the eye to try and keep them away from the cat person.

She looked around trying to find somewhere to go, the teen - still chibi senshi was clearly stressed out about the kosopods as they kept trying to attack her and the Mauvian. "We need somewhere we can limit which side they can be around us, if you want to partner with me?" There was one kosopod that decided to start eating the tail of her fuku and made tea whine trying to get it off of her. She managed to kick another kosopod in the eye but was so far unable to dislodge the one chewing on her fabric tail.

Quote:
2: 75% success (you do not have to fail but you are having some difficulties; this might mean that you are burdened by a large number of Kosopods attacking and have to work harder to meet your goal. Character: Lieutenant Vesuvianite
Action: screaming, flailing, etc

Vesuvianite felt awkward when Ilmari waved him over, but he came over anyway, trying to pay attention, trying to be serious, because he was part of a Group now and this wasn't some stupid high school group project where he'd end up with all the work—this was deadly serious work and he needed to make sure he paid attention, because the others would actually have good ideas, especially the ones who'd definitely been here much longer than he himself had. They'd have a better idea of how to handle whatever was going on here.

He was the baby here, practically, which suddenly became violently reinforced when the Kosopods finally made their appearance. Them... and their horrifying Queen.

No. Nope. Hell to the ******** of the no, absolutely not. This was not his scene, bugs were not his thing, and he wanted to go home right now, immediately. Alas, this was not meant to be, because he was right in the Queen's line of fire. He was right in the Queen's path, but before he could move, perhaps before he could even blink, someone's tentacle magic grabbed him and pulled him away, narrowly dodging getting run over, but definitely tripping over his own feet and falling directly into the senshi's (Albite's) chest.

Embarrassed, he blushed bright red, coughed, and righted himself. "Ah. Thank you. I, uh—"

Skittering. A cluster of pissed off Kosopods. He did not shriek, thank you very much, because it was actually a very manly scream, and he drew his weapon to start clobbering the one nearest him. The others buzzed closer, threatening to overwhelm him, and he felt at a loss for what to do.

Lanting, Squire of Ida
Dice Roll: 2 + 1 = 3; 100% success
Currently: Desires to make friends with his timid kosopods, but focused on helping Corvina!

"It's fine, I'm fine," Lanting said, and there was a hint of amusement in his voice--and maybe he liked that Corvina was so loudly declaring that he wanted to protect him. Maybe that was something that made him feel good and wanted, and maybe he wanted to feel more of that.

But he kept investigating--even if he was very careful about it.

It seemed that Lanting's care was paying off. The kosopods that skittered out from under the case to approach him seemed timid, afraid--and he hesitated to want to do anything to hurt them. The poor little things really were just living, and surely there had to be a solution that didn't involve slaughtering a bunch of isopod-cute critters. But that probably wasn't realistic, and if he knew anything about bugs, leaving any behind would just mean more problems later.

And worse, it seemed Corvina wasn't so lucky--and so Lanting ignored his own cluster of kosopods (and his discomfort at knowing that Dunnottar was close by, because if he pretended that it wasn't happening, maybe Dunnottar would go away and Lanting wouldn't have to hear more about his weird decision to blame Shuangxu for Zhiheng's maybe-crimes) (which, by the way, Corvina apparently thought Zhiheng was incapable of, so score one for "maybe there was a dramatic misinterpretation," thank you) (but that wasn't particularly relevant at the moment) to pick up his cane and turn his attention to the ones swarming Corvina, which seemed far, far more aggressive.

"Leave him alone," he said, and he swatted at one with the end of his cane--and was surprised when that worked to flip it over and leave it seemingly stunned. Another one leapt to bite, and Lanting whacked it right in its squishy underbelly, and flashed Corvina a pleased smile.

"I've got your back," he promised. Whatever else happened--he had Corvina's back.

Character: Super Monoceros, White Moon Senshi of Porcupines
Action: helping Nagyágite by killing his kosopod group

Monoceros wasn't quite sure what to do, especially when the group of Kosopods that eventually approached him didn't seem to... want to try to hurt him? Which was fine by him, actually. He almost wanted to try to pet one—they could be kind of cute, under the right circumstances... But since he wasn't in the middle of being attacked, he looked around himself, and just near him, an officer—Nagyágite, he realized, and felt a pang go through him, indistinct—was being attacked by a much more aggressive group. He skirted around his own group of nervous little buggies and stepped over to the ones attacking Nagyágite.

"Leave him alone," he said quietly, almost growled, as he kicked the closest one away as hard as he could. It sailed through the air, landed upside down, and seemed pretty dead to him—looking at the state of his boot, he could see he'd managed to get right into that soft underbelly. Hey, thanks, flat feet.

Feeling invigorated, he kicked a few more of them away as they focused on him instead of Nagyágite. Quickly enough, it seemed like he'd sent the aggressive group scurrying, and he offered Nagyágite a quick smile.

"Hey, sorry I don't have any, um, healing magic or anything," he said, nodding towards Nagyágite's foot, bootless for the moment. "Or any spare shoes. You okay, though? I do have water, if you need to splash it. Or something."

He took a few deep breaths, trying to stay steady. This was dangerous. So dangerous. He'd just sworn not too long ago that he would avoid the Negaverse at all costs, and yet here he was, helping one of them out. He recalled the glare from Andesine—he'd sensed eyes boring into his back, however brief it had been, and caught her eye as she looked away.

Guilt. He'd abandoned a friend, abandoned a boyfriend. Now he was too scared, or thought he'd been too scared, to try to help someone in need. Wasn't this how he'd gotten into that mess in the first place? Trying to reconnect with his shithead brother? He didn't want to think about it anymore. Didn't want to think at all.

He doubted Nagyagite would hurt him. He just wanted to help. That was his job. He could do that.

Roll: 3 + 1 = 4; 150% success
Currently: Backing up Irenaea and Hela, since her own kosopods are timid little bbs; kicking some bugs!

Well. There wasn't much time to explore the museum--not with the infestation upon them.

"Ugh, Jesus, gross," Asuka said, in her best "why is this happening to me" voice. Though, if she was honest, this might make a fun story to tell on Youtube...if she could find a way to relocate it to the city, of course. And sanitize out all the magic shenanigans. But a stranger leading people to a strange museum, and abandoning them to do his pest control? Yeah, that totally sounded like a destiny City horror story.

At least the ones that skittered towards her seemed as startled by her as she was by them, and okay, sure, she yelped and kicked one over, which sent the others into a very frightened frenzy, but that was pretty useful--they certainly weren't attacking her, and when she saw a bunch of them converge on Irenaea, she picked up one kosopod, wriggling unhappily in her grip, and tossed it at the mass around her friend, a weirdly successful strategy that seemed to stun the ones she hit.

"Hey, you!" She called to Hela, and she wished she knew her name because "hey, you" felt kinda rude, "you okay?" She flipped another kosopod over with her foot and stepped on it, because no, she was not just stunning the stupid things. They could all get squished, especially if they were spitting acid at her friends. "None of them got you too bad, did they?"

Character: Dunnottar, Page of Lysithea
Action: destroying kosopods

Dunnottar didn't care for whatever stupid thing Corvina clearly thought he was donig by speaking loudly and in Dunnottar's direction—this wasn't something he needed to focus on right now (or possibly ever).

Not when these Kosopods were scurrying around. One tried to spit acid on him and he reflexively jumped away, and then the next one tried, but when it reared up to do so, he kicked it as fast as he could.

Good. He began to batter them, dodging acid spit left and right, decimating the ones nearest him.

Deep Space Eternal Sailor Daedalus
Roll: 1: 50% success
Currently: Stunning some kosopods; bundling them up in his jacket; getting bit in the process

Well. That certainly looked like a kosopod queen to Daedalus; how unfortunate for Almadel that one seemed to have settled into his museum. But there were plenty of people handling it, and he had a little clutter of kosopods approaching him. They seemed curious, but not yet aggressive--good.

An idea struck him, all at once--Surtur was right, he absolutely could take these to his homeworld, release them, and let them go in on the remaining pollutants there. And he needed a way to get them there--and it seemed so obvious.

He took off his jacket, dropping it on the floor and letting it attract the kosopods' attention--and when a few had crawled onto it and were nibbling at the fabric, he flipped it, hard, spilling them onto their backs. Unfortunately, that attracted the ire of the ones that hadn't gotten onto his jacket yet, and he hissed as little bug teeth sank into his leg, kicking hard to fling it across the room. It splatted onto the floor, and Daedalus winced.

What a waste.

And it wasn't alone--while Daedalus went to get at the kosopods he'd managed to knock over, more of them bit at his ankles and his arms, and one even spat acid at his side.

Well. That was unpleasant. At least the way it ate through his clothes meant he could get a good grip to rip the affected part of his shirt off, and then he discarded his glove, too; better to not risk kosopod acid burns. Bites were bad enough, and Daedalus's ankles and calves ached from little buggy teeth.

But he had a few with their bellies exposed, and he could smack them there, just hard enough to stun them, and bundle them up into his jacket.

Sure, it was only three or four little bugs--but they'd multiply, and they would absolutely find garbage and oil and slime in the water delicious.
