Arden took one of the rings, just continuing to balance his pet and prize in his other arm. He closed an eye, lining up the ring with the bottles. It wasn't a perfect toss, but he made one of them. He paused as he was presented a basket of trinkets to choose from, looking to Sorren. There wasn't a lot of prizes to choose from and he didn't want to take to take another stuffed animal. He decided on a necklace. "Thanks," he offered the booth keeper, pausing for draping it over his Vespercat's head.
He turned to Sorren, grinning a little. "Just what I needed," the Chimera informed, shaking his head as the cat seemed amused by the glowing vial now around it's neck. He looked to her prize, examining it before watching it get sent away. "I think your luck worked out a little better."
"Sacrificing us to your gluttony is a terrible thing, Meris. I am so not going to help you get around the manager; you can deal with them yourself." Madla pointed out with a grin. "As for names...I was thinking something spider-y. I love spider names, and there are some really cute ones."

Sorry! Just realized I haven't replied in forever. OTL
After playing another failed round of ring toss, Laurel decided to scoot over to a bench and sit down for a rest. Boy, his feet were tired, weren't they? Maybe he should think about heading back to the dorms for a nap...

Miss again, hopefully the second throw would get her a prize. She needed a distraction so she could stay in character, in order to ignore the group of nightmares who were back to starring and pointing at her horn. Why couldn't others like her for who she was and not focus on the fact she had a broken horn?!
This time she poured her frustration into the throw, trying to channel it in order to possibly actually hit the tower of bottles.
Kobe smiled brightly as he saw a dart throwing game. He hadn't seen that one before! His tail swished happily as he made his way to the booth. He pulled himself onto the chair and asked if he could play. The nightmare handed him three darts. Kobe took a deep breath and threw the darts at the balloons. He grumbled as missed the balloons.
He pouted a bit, asking to try again. He moved to lean against the booth, sticking his tongue out in concentration. He released the three darts and managed to get the three balloons. He hopped up in day happily, selecting his prize and bolting off!
Victoria was most displeased at her luck in games. Staring unhappily at the attendant, she turned on her heel and walked away, refusing to claim a prize. She wanted a familiar! Not a plush!
Pepper was attracted to the party by the noise, abandoning her homework to scoop up her plush, Babette, and go have a look. Her eyes widened as she saw some of the other nightmares had little glowing necklaces and she looked around to see where she could get one. They were so cute! Excitedly, she spotted a game and went to have a go at it. It was a simple game, one of those Get-the-Ring-around-the-bottle kind. Pursing her lips, she concentrated and tossed the first ring. It went wide, but she still had two left! The next one she threw made it, and then to her surprise so did the last one!
"Oh yay! I can get one of those necklaces Babette!" she squealed. "Oh, but you could get one of these familiars instead little lady," the game master told her, gesturing to a row of sky fish. A pretty purple one caught her eye and she pointed at it, thinking it would make a good companion to Babette. "Here you are little lady," the man said, letting the fish out to float to her. Giggling, she petted the thing, introducing it to her plush. "This is Babette, and you shall be Raffe," she told it.
A party! It was really nice that there's a party for the new headmaster. But all that Auren wanted to do is have fun, maybe even win a prize or two. That sounds like fun for him. Auren toddles through the crown, holding to his plushie tightly in his arms. "Nghn . . ." There are a lot of Nightmares here, now that he realize it.
Hearing the sound of games catch his interest and he looks to see a Freshling playing in a ring toss game. Silently he watches her how she plays it, and smiles seeing that she had one. It was a good toss and she won a sky fish! Now he is excited to play. "Congrats!" He praise her with her victory.
He walked up to play, placing his plush Rory down by his side to give it a try as he was given a set of three rings from the game master. With his first toss, the ring bounce against the bottles. Auren furrow his brows in irritation at that and toss his second ring. The ring also bounce off and it was a miss. "C'mon . . ."He looks at the bottle and tries to aim at least to one particular spot at least as he toss his last ring, and it rings around the bottle. "Yay! Can I . . . have that blue plushie? Please?"And he was given the polka dot plush. "Awesome! I need to think of a name for you now . . ." But that can wait as he hugs both plushes in his arms.
“I am not sacrificing you to my gluttony… I draw the line when I haven’t even seen a hamburger in three months. Then I throw you to the wolves and eat one. I mentioned the whole not a herbivore thing right?” Meris shook his head and grabbed one of the plushies from a tray that was passing by. It was funny how his luck was suddenly going.
“You know I’m starting to see that. Well hopefully the kid likes the name. Then again Kids aren’t supposed to pick their names either." He pondered. Personally spiders slightly disturbed him but whatever floated Madla’s boat.

As Pepper was introducing her pet to her toy, she heard someone nearby tell her congrats. Grinning, she looked up to see a red-head stepping up to play the game. "You can do it!" she encouraged him, watching him play while she hugged Babette to her chest. He missed the first one and she tried to give him encouragement. Another ring, another miss. Just when she didn't think he was going to get anything, he got the last ring around one of the bottles and won one of the cute plushies. "Congrats to you too!" she told him with a smile.
"Are there any other fun games in here?" she asked him, hoping he had been there longer than her. She was pretty intent on winning one of those necklaces, but her cute little fish was nice too! Scooting bit to the side so other nightmares could play, she bounced a bit on the balls of her feet. Parties were great. This was much more fun than the language arts homework she'd been working on.

She watched as his Vespercat played with the necklace. It was so cute, and his cat seemed to love it. When he said that her luck worked out better she shook her head. "No, you just had no luck because I stole all of it." she winked at him with a laugh.
"Do you want to try again? And I promise this time I won't steal any of your luck this time. Or we could go and do something us, it's up to you." She knew there was also the chance that he didn't want to hang out with her anymore, he did have other friends she was sure.

Arden shrugged a little, scratching his cat's head. He really needed to decide on a name for this guy. "Don't worry about it," he informed. While he sort of wanted to try his hand at getting another familiar, he had some reservations.
"Not that I'm too cool for a carnival," he chuckled a little to himself, "But some of these games feel like taking candy from a baby." The Chimera looked to Sorren, just shaking his head a little as he rattling the glowing vial for his pet. He didn't mind continuing to watch though, more than happy to keep company and offer a chat.
That didn't help at all! She had ended up throwing too high, having missed the bottles completely. For sure that group of nightmares watching her had to be laughing at her huge miss, and she just wanted this insecurity to end!
However, her face didn't show this at all, and neither did her body posture. All Candy did was give a shrug, a smirk coming to her face as she acted like it hadn't bothered her ", One last right right?" Taking the last ball in her hands, she decided to just throw it, not caring what the outcome would be. She was going to miss so what did it matter?
Laurel swiveled his legs around to lay on the arm rest of the bench and sighed. Mmm, it seemed it was getting close to nap time... Maybe he should thinking about finding a caretaker to take him back to the dorms? Or should he grab a soda and see if he couldn't wake himself up? He yawned, only to jump when something was dropped on his head.
"Hm?" He gasped, grabbing at the polka dot plushie as it settled on his head. "Hey! Where'd you come from?"
He looked around, confused, and gave the plushie a snuggle. Oh well, looks like he'd found a new friend for his collection!
