"Exactly. You have to be responsible if you're going to have a small, helpless thing follow you around everywhere." Madla agreed, shrugging her shoulders at the cluelessness of the world.
"I don't normally faze through the wall, like you said, the manager doesn't approve. But I also have less direct fans than you. Most people want your autograph first and I can make my escape that way." she laughed, totally unconcerned by being a background member.
Madla tickled the jelly's tentacles before turning back to Meris. "Well, I asked to imbue a stone recently, so I might have a little Madla soon. I don't know how the whole process works, so I'm a little iffy on the when, but I'm excited."
With his plushies and kitten in tow, Laurel decided to go back to the spinning wheel game. He'd seen a bunch of other prizes lined up on the shelves, maybe he'd get lucky and win another kitten? The man seemed more than happy to spin the wheel for him again and the little Freshling wiggled with excitement as the wheel landed on the number 15. What did that mean? Was it the same prize as five?
"Here you go! One spotted jellyfish! Enjoy!" The man announced, handing a bowl with a brightly colored jellyfish inside to Laurel's waiting arms.
"Ooooh, you're super shiny, aren't you?" Laurel cooed, pressing his face against the glass. "I hope my kitties don't try to eat you!"

Goodness. They really looked like a couple didn't they. Here together, matching outfits, and now dancing? She didn't even have a moment to object before she was pulled on to the dance floor. None the less she danced and laughed with her friend Jaret. He couldn't of been doing this on purpose. He was just a great guy and wanted to thank you for a job well done on their project, or that's what Favrielle was telling herself.
The demon pulled in close and took a moment to lean her head into his chest. It felt really nice to dance with him. Her heart all a flutter as she inhaled whatever wonderful smelling cologne he was wearing. "Jaret you have been such a wonderful partner. Promise we will continue to hang out after this project?"

Cassie made a soft little sound, smiling. "I would love a piece Jezebeth," she informed, accepting the round candy in an outstretched palm. She couldn't help but chuckle some. "Your right, sweets aren't good for you." Cassie popped the piece in her mouth, hanging back with Jezebeth for a moment as she surveyed the room.
One of the other dart game booths had opened again and she turned to Jezebeth. "I'm going to try again," she informed, in a playful mood as she approached the booth and took up the darts. This time, to her amazement, she at least hit one and another glowing necklace was thrust into her hands. Oh well, looked like she was going to be starting a collection. She stuffed it in her pocket as well, looking back to Jezebeth.
Jezebeth was quite happy when Cassie took the offered candy. Now she only needed to find more nightmares to share the entire bag with. After all, she could really only eat on herself, unless she saved it. How long could she keep it? She didn't really know, it'd probably just be better to finish it up as soon as possible. She followed after the older Fallen and was surprised when they stopped at another dart game.
She gave the fallen a little thumbs up for good luck and watched as surprisingly she managed to pop one of the balloons. She claps her hands excitedly as she received her prize. Jezebeth didn't really have an interest in trying a dart game again. So she wandered around until she spoted a game that involved scooping out fish from a little pond. Surprisingly she fished on out on her first try and the booth runner gave her something quite unique indeed a little pet skyfish.
Her first pet! She'd have to figure out exactly how to take care of him but she was sure he or she would be happy! She showed off her prize to Cassie. "I have some studying to do later!"
Jaret smiled and laughed with Favrielle, enjoying being around her as he had for their project. She was so quirky and fun to be around; he was more than happy to have her as a friend... maybe even happier as more. He bit his lip at the thought, yelling at himself to stop the nonsense... they were just friends, right?
The ghostly demon looked down with surprise as she leaned against him. His hands pulled her close, noting how nice she smelt. He gently rested his head on hers; her hair was so soft and smelt of flowers. A faint blush crossed his cheeks as he held her. A smile formed on his lips as he heard her request. "Of course, Favrielle... I'll always be your friend." He promised.
Meris nodded and frowned rising up a finger before quickly running over and scooping something off the ground. Apparently one of those ball things had ended up on the floor and Meris had barely saved it from getting stepped on. He hoped that one of the familiars hadn’t been inside, although his stomach dropped as he realized the ball had holes. Opening it up he was greeted with a Black and white little skyfish that seemed to be shaking. It quickly swam around the air and Joined Con, curling up on his shoulder. “Sorry about that, it looked like the ball was going to be squished. Last two I opened had familiars so…”
“And yeah I see how it is. Throw me to the wolves” Meris rolled his eyes mockingly. However he was known to do somewhat the same thing to Adora, which turned the manager’s hair white. Adora had a thing about signing the weirdest autographs ever. “Seriously they should let me get a stamp. I would sign more if I could just wip the stamp out and stamp things”
“Oh… you get a partially imbued one or just go and do it yourself?” Meris asked. Madla, while a little out there would make a good mom if the way she treated her familiars with respect was any indication, still babies where a bit more work than familiars. “You do know if you bring it to practice that Adora will never let you have it back right?”

Another game, another bust. Oh well. Opting to take a break for a little while, Starlet returned to the snack table to get a few more sweets, then retreated to a corner of the room to observe for a while. Ah, Sorren was here... perhaps he should say hello or something.
Wandering a little aimlessly Zahneel tried random games just for fun. Granted, she didn't win, but it was fun. THough, she had to admit that she'd been hoping to see more of her own kind around. Still, there was plenty of time to try and hunt out other Grimm. And there were a lot of people milling around. Maybe she just wasn't looking hard enough.
Sighing a little, the young grimm moved for the edges of the room, thinking that she'd have a better chance of seeing or scenting someone she knew that way.

Cassie appreciated the enthusiasm, smiling softly yet. Jezebeth was good company despite the fact they had only met that morning. She wandered after, keeping a loose eye on Jezebeth as they walked, the room starting to get a bit jam-packed with Nightmares.
"Look at it's little snout!" Cassie beamed, enamored with the Skyfish. "You sure do," she agreed, not knowing much about the familiar herself. Her whisp was very easy to care for, and it often times just floated about her room, sometimes getting stuck in places it didn't belong. "What are you going to name it?" she asked, stepping aside to the outside edge of the room where there was a bit more room to converse.
Jezebeth seemed to be deep in thought, pondering the question Cassie had posed to her. She had never had a pet before, an while she might have named a plushie or two she had never named a living thing before. She wandered absentmindedly as she pondered.
"I might call them Gypso...." Finally having settled on a name, she was roped into playing another game. It was a game of 'skee ball' and involved rolling balls up a little slope and into different point slots . Her first two rolls weren't impressive, but as she got the hang of how the game worked she managed to wrack up a decent amount of point. Enough to be rewarded with yet another new Skyfish.
"I...I have two new pets now..." She might have been a little overwhelmed. She was only one person! She swore she would new her best, try her best, to raise them.

For a second she was going to leave the booth, she seemed to have better luck the first time she tried at each of them, but this one was a lot of fun. Just like the time before she won on the last shot and was given a prize that wasn't a familiar. She picked a cute teal stuffed animal that she would be able to give her daughter once she was born. With a thank you to the man who was in charge of the booth Sorren headed away from the booth to another one, hoping her beginners luck would hold true again.
She stood up and decided to go and get a drink, it was getting pretty warm in here. She ordered a Orange Juice and sipped it delicately.
Edit: She noticed someone she recognised standing close, she walked over and tapped Laurel on the shoulder, Crouching down she smiled at him. "Hi! Do you maybe remember me?"
Ash was as excited as one could be as she finally entered the hall. She and her 'sister' absolutely loved celebrations, especially ones where you could win pretty trinkets or new familiars. She'd seen a few students walk around with glowing pendants, and that made her want one as well, so bad. Maybe she'd get lucky?
With trembling claws, she picked up a set of dice, shaking them for a moment before dropping them on the tray set upon the table. Bummer. Her ears drooped when she saw her numbers were in fact not the lucky ones, but the lady on the other side of the table encouragingly told Ash to try the other games a little later. After all, the celebration would continue for a while, still.
Victoria was so excited to finally be back to the academy for the celebration. A celebration meant time to meet new people and friends! Looking through all the items for the celebration, she happened upon a game! Doing her best, she ended up with a bag of colorful candy! She squealed happily and hugged it tight, grinning ear to ear as she pranced off.
