Boris_Badenov n o i r i s t Boris_Badenov I found out last night that one of my favorite teachers died of cancer, and I'm really sad. She was nice and awesome, and she cared about her students. I'm gong to be thinking of something to write. I'm sorry, Boris. sad I'm sure you can write something nice in her memory. I wrote something, but I feel like there's more that can be said, but I can't write anything else Teacher MemoirI just went and read, it was very nice Boris. Also, I added you on there, I hope you don't mind?

Got bored. sweatdrop
...I now have obtained a 19" Sony SDM-HS94P non-widescreen (standard 5:4) LCD monitor and a nVidia GeForce 8400GS PCI graphics card. Had to get one of my no longer used CPU heatsink fans to install into this card, as the original one had issues, according to the previous owner. I am actually testing it right now! Will replace it with an OEM fan someday. For the monitor, it is excellent. It's so big compared to my 19" widescreen (16:9) Samsung 920BW monitor. Now I can replace the bulky Dell CRT monitor in my room!
Edit: How could I forget the fact that Sissy and Mom freaked out over the size of this monitor? lol Especially Mom. She made a beeline to the kitchen (mainly oblivious at this time), got what she wanted (this took three minutes), left the kitchen to the dining room, finally noticed it, and said, "What the heck?" Lol.

Reinstalled Windows XP Professional SP3 on the Tyan build, but this time, instead of Retail, it's VLK. ninja
Had some crashing fits: once during installation and once after the Windows desktop showed up. Possibly graphics card related at one point.

I sure hope the coding geniuses (?) get the Towns 2 coding ironed out before the next Towns related event. If the next event derps as bad as this one, I might not even participate.

Me: Would you like to poke me now?
Him: No, later. Doing handyman stuff. (Note: He was installing a lock for his bedroom door.)
Me: Oh? What tool are you going to use?
Him: *ignores me at first while he picks up a tool, reads* Hm. Phillips Screwdr-- *realizes what I said* Really?
Me: rofl
Later, after he installs it...
Him: Now he can't pick it if he ever comes back! Can't be picked, can't be hammered, can't be screwdrivered!
Me: Did someone put a layer of protection over my hoo-ha, then?
Him: *sputters*
