Sailor Neptune waited with Sailor Uranus as Usagi walked into the arcade but when she walked out with her arm linked with a pink haired girl. "Who could she be? Looks like we are going to need to go in after her in the cafe. Shall we?" She gestured with her right hand and with a smile.

"Good morning Luna!" She greeted the black kitty as she continued to speak with her. "Yes I thought that would be the best move while the others looked after Usagi-chan. I'm not sure but I thought looking around to see if any samples or clues could be found that might help us figure out who this new enemy could be."
The area in ruins was roped off but there were no cops around so they moved cautious through the ruins to the location the youma was at. "Maybe there is some kind of residue or piece left from the youma when we hit it before someone or something sucked it back up." She suggested to Luna as she started looking around on the ground in the area but also remaining aware of her surroundings as she kept glancing out of the corner of her eyes.
As she continued to look around she thought she saw something shimmer out of the corner of her eye that wasn't the sun reflecting off the glass. "Hey Luna..." She called to the black cat. "...I thought I saw something shimmer over here." She pointed to a general area as she continued to look around for the source of the shine.

She nodded. "We can always send a message to Hotaru. She said she would be over at the ruins looking for samples or clues. She would be the next closest if we needed someone to be on duty for the time being." She suggested to Uranus.
She followed Uranus and jumped down after her and transformed back to her civilian attire a simple sleeveless diagonal striped blue top with a white skirt and a pale pink shawl with a white purse.

She strolled in with Haruka and walked up to the counter with her. After Haruka ordered she replied. "Can I get a medium mocha please?" She told the cashier.
She stopped beside Haruka at Usagi's table. "Fancy seeing you here Usagi-chan." Michiru said with a warm smile like it was a normal everyday day. "Did you meet a new friend on the way to school?" She hinted at why she wasn't in school while Haruka took a more direct approach.

"Good morning, Grandfather Hino."

Grandpa Hino was dressed in his traditional ceremonial Shinto Priest robes, when he saw Mamoru Chiba was awake and dressed in the attire that he had left him. "Ohayo, Mamoru-sama." Followed by his morning greeting, Grandpa Hino provided the young man the bowing of his head in turn. "If you are looking for my granddaughter Rei-san, she's in the kitchen finishing breakfast which shall be served soon." The elder smiled, as he began to pass Mamoru, "I believe that today is going to be a good day." Continuing on down the long stretched out hallway, Grandpa Hino turned to head out into the courtyard.

Meanwhile in the kitchen. .

Rei had finished making breakfast and was in the process of plating everything before moving the covered dishes to the table. When she heard one of the bamboo planks creak under the weight of someone walking.

Lifting her head up and over her shoulder she saw just who had made the noise, "Konnichiwa, Mamoru-san. Did you get plenty of sleep?" She paused slightly, seeing how he was dressed. It wasn't often that they had guests sleep over and when they did, they usually departed the next day in their own clothing. To see Mamoru Chiba dressed in a traditional kimono and hakama attire, caused Rei to blush.

Feeling the heat rise along her cheeks she quickly turned around to finish escorting the covered dishes to the table so that they could eat and get on with the rest of their day. "If you are looking for Hotaru, she left earlier to do some detective work at ground zero. To see if she could make a discovery of... things that might have been overlooked by the enemy."

Purposely distracting herself as she placed the covered dishes on the table. Moving back and forth from the kitchen to the dining area with plates, cups, utensils and cloth napkins. "If you are wondering where Haruka and Michiru are, they went on Scout Duty to keep an eye on Usagi. Taiki had alerted them for when she left the house. I think...? Luna is somewhere here? I'm not for sure. I've been busy trying to get everything in order to make charms for..." feeling movement behind, she froze in place.

Peeking over her shoulder she saw that he had moved to seat himself. Releasing a breath, she didn't fully understand why she was acting awkward around him then. To help fill the silence surrounding them, "Sadly, there's still no word from the others. I will more than likely head to the arcade later to head to the computer room and help Luna with what I...we can find...." Turning around to join Mamoru who was now seated at the table. "Discovery wise. But that doesn't mean that I have to leave right away if you require assistance, Mamoru?" Pouring a cup of hot tea for Mamoru, "I do still have to go to school too. Just not yet.I will have my communicator on if I am needed at a moment's notice." Feeling as though she needed to mention that to him.

Rei had not mentioned the whereabouts to where the Three Lights were. She figured that he already knew. NOT that she was mind reader and knew what his thoughts were. "Breakfast is served. Please take what you want. Grandfather will join after his prayers. So please, eat while everything is still..." Pausing slightly in her words, as she could feel some kind of pull, calling to her.


Finely tuned in to what she was feeling, Rei never heard her grandfather enter into the dining area asking a question to the last thing she had said, "Rei-san?" Grandfather Hino reached out and touched her arm, which brought Rei back to the present, "You never finished what you were saying. So please, eat while everything is still...?"


"Hot." Rei finally replied. Trading a look between her grandfather and Mamoru briefly wondering if they felt that something felt off. Reaching down her fingertips found the surface of her communicator along her wrist, as her fingertips idly traced the outline of a golden crescent moon, surrounding her crimson and golden star. 'What was that? D-Did they feel that?' Rei had a gut feeling that she would need to skip school today because something was telling her that some unnatural force could be felt. As well as something familiar that she had not felt in quite sometime.

"C-...Chibiusa...Tsukino..." Chibiusa said, answering back to Seiya.
What Taiki and Yaten thought, Seiya was going to ask. "Tsukino? That's a family name... so what relation are you to Odango then?" questions started to rise from the idol, no it was more Star Fighter underneath asking, wanting to protect Usagi from any future threats.

Watching Chibiusa being drawn into the room, Seiya noticed her walking towards the television. Sure it was cute, but Seiya felt like there was more she was hiding.
Seiya walked over to take his plate that had his breakfast on it and leaned on the kitchen bench watching Chibiusa as he ate. "What were those visions I saw from her? Why did I see Neo Queen Serenity?" he thought to himself, maybe it was best he told either Yaten or Taiki about this.

Glancing at Yaten, Seiya spoke very quietly to him "Oi Yaten...I had a vision when I put my hand on Chibiusa's shoulder... I saw Neo Queen Serenity... she looked like she was--"
Stopping what he was about to say, he heard Chibiusa finally speak when the ad break started which drew Seiya's attention back to her. The way she clapped her hands together and her expression was a splitting image of Usagi.
"WOOW!! And they are having a CONCERT?! I wanna gooooo!..........Did you see this?! The--"

The look on Seiya's face showed he was still in thought but had to force some sort of 'typical 'Seiya' reaction out.
Standing up straight from leaning on the bench, he smirked in amusement and answered "You just realized this now, Chibiodango?" as he finished his breakfast, Seiya listened to Taiki answering Chibiusa's question and as he finished, Chibiusa asked another one.

"But... your songs seem so sad... why?"
"We wrote those songs a few years ago, we... at the time, were wanting to reach out to a few people."

"...Wait a minute... why is Usagi friends with three famous people?"

Seiya had to explain again, this time he felt like she was going to listen now that she was a lot calmer. "Like I said..."

Glancing at the couch, he took a running step, placing one hand on the top part of the couch frame and jumped over the top of the couch to sit next to Taiki. Yes, he could of just walked around it like a normal person, but Seiya liked to be that much extra and show off a little.
Landing next to Taiki, now being much closer to Chibiusa again, he continued to speak.



"Odango went to school with us. We were in her class, you can ask us anything about our time with her as we all have some funny stories"
Seiya's expression changed slightly as he thought to himself "....And some really sad ones..."
He even went further and spoke about her friends. "We know Rei, we actually saw her last night and said hello." not telling the full details as to why they even saw her.
Looking over at Yaten, he had been staring at Seiya, trying to get his attention, Yaten turned his back to Chibiusa and moved one hand to his wrist, showing the communicator for a moment. Seiya's cheerful expression slowly changed as his eyes went back to Chibiusa. "Say, Chibiodango... we'll leave now but I don't think we should leave the door unlocked. Do you know if there's a spare key somewhere?" trying to see if Chibiusa knew her way around the house, but also to get her away so he could speak briefly to Taiki and Yaten.

"Sister?" Taiki thought, but her words and actions screamed that was a lie. Making eye contact with Seiya and Yaten, Taiki didn't really know how to respond.
While overhearing Seiya tell Yaten about the vision, it was something they would definitely talk about later.
Suddenly, Taiki felt the couch move for a few seconds then Seiya landed beside him. "Such a show off..." Taiki thought, then listened into the conversation.


This was code for "We need to talk" as Taiki watched Chibiusa hesitantly leave the room, then stop at the stairs. It was the second time he noticed her holding onto that locket.
Finally, she was upstairs, and the three could now openly talk.
"Leader? If she's Tsukino-san's relative then what you saw might actually be something to be concerned about, it could be anything and the Princess could be in danger again."
Looking at Yaten, he then spoke in regards to the communicator "I think contacting the Senshi right now would distract them, it's better to bring Chibiusa to them without causing any sort of panic, we don't know exactly what their relationship is really like, it's best to be cautious and we have the control and back up if anything were to happen."

Taiki used his communicator to send Usagi's location to his phone, seeing where she was now he added. "Tsukino-san is.. now at the cafe... why isn't she going to school yet?" Taiki couldn't understand Usagi in some ways, as he enjoyed being at school and academically challenging himself with others.

Sitting there thinking about Usagi, Taiki glanced at Seiya and spoke. "Going back to your vision, when you were asleep this morning... for a moment I saw Tsukino-san... I guess glowing? she was radiating for a second, and I saw Neo Queen Serenity in place of her watching over you, so I can't help but feel like this is no coincidence with what you saw." looking over at Yaten, he questioned "...And have you seen anything?" wondering if Yaten had anything similar happen.

"Ohayo, Mamoru-sama."

"If you are looking for my granddaughter Rei-san, she's in the kitchen finishing breakfast which shall be served soon. I believe that today is going to be a good day."

Waiting for Grandfather Hino to depart as Mamoru closed his eyes in thought, 'Is it going to be a good day?' He couldn't help but wonder what exactly was in store for everyone. Walking down the hallway, Mamoru couldn't help but notice that everything was quiet. Not that it bothered him, it was actually nice and refreshing for a change. Definitely different from waking up hearing road traffic outside of his apartment downtown. Smiling to himself as he rounded the corner. The quiet was soon ended at the cheerful greeting he received from Rei Hino.

Her greeting took him by surprise, as he stood there with a stunned expression. Realizing also that he was not used to seeing Rei dressed as a shrine maiden either for that matter.

"Konnichiwa, Mamoru-san. Did you get plenty of sleep?"

She looked different. Not in a bad way, he wasn't used to seeing her in something so formal, then again she is a Miko. Mamoru was used to seeing Rei with Usagi, Minako, Makoto and Ami in their school uniforms as well as when they're all hang out in casual attire on the weekends. Usagi and the others might be accustomed to seeing Rei as a shrine maiden. Seeing this side of Rei Hino, was... interesting. Lively. Rei seemed more vibrant and full of life...here at the shrine. A nice change from the every day appearance.

Realization set in when he noticed her blush. "Gomen! Hai! Ohayou-gozaimasu Rei-chan!" Clearing his throat slightly as he chuckled slightly under his breath, not meaning for their greeting to feel odd.



Noticing that Rei immediately turned her back to him, busing herself with setting the table. Wondering what that was all about? She went from being friendly straight to business in an awkward manner. Tilting his head to the side in curiosity he listened to what she had to say, while observing how she was acting.

Brushing off whatever that was about, Mamoru moved behind Rei cautiously not to bump into her to sit down at the table. His eyes following Rei as she paced across the floor from the kitchen to the dining room. Smiling quite amused in how she was talking and carrying on. He could gather from Rei's body language that she was trying to be chill and casual, however he could tell that there was some form of anxiety perhaps? Or was it something else that he sensed? Resting his right hand along side his face, remaining quiet as he allowed her to finish.


"Sadly, there's still no word from the others. I will more than likely head to the arcade later to head to the computer room and help Luna with what I...we can find...."

Remaining quiet, as he lifted his gaze up towards Rei providing a smile as she filled his cup with tea. "Rei? You don't need to wait on me hand and foot. I do appreciate everything that you and your grandfather have done for me. Along with everyone else. I can assure you that I am more than capable in handling what may come my way."

"I do still have to go to school too. Just not yet.I will have my communicator on if I am needed at a moment's notice."

"Of course. Please don't let me stop you from attending your studies. I understand how important it is to attend school." Speaking with her casually, hoping that she would relax. He was still amused with how she was acting around him. Noticing that she pointed out her communication device, he nodded his head towards her acknowledging that she was wearing her watch. "You and the others always did manage to have your communication devices on hand. Trying to get Usagi to.." Mamoru stopped in completing his sentence. Just saying Usagi's name caused his throat to tighten. A pained expression started to emerge but he withheld the feeling. Not wanting to worry Rei, let alone crush the cheerful demeanor he was experiencing from her then.

"Breakfast is served. Please take what you want. Grandfather will join after his prayers. So please, eat while everything is still..."

Mamoru noticed a slight change in Rei then, as she looked away from him. Glancing off to the side to see if he could witness whatever it was she was looking at. No one was there. His smile faded as his expression became serious, taking Rei's reaction as a hint that something was amiss. "Rei?" He questioned. She didn't respond to him. Frowning slightly. He noticed by that point Grandfather Hino had joined them.
"Rei-san?"

'Where was she?' Rei was there one minute then the next? Rei didn't respond to him nor her grandfather then. Something was definitely wrong, for Rei to suddenly ignore them both! It was when Grandfather Hino reached out and touched Rei that she seemed to acknowledge that they were still present. 'How unusual.' Mamoru thought to himself then, watching the interaction between Rei and her grandfather then.

"You never finished what you were saying. So please, eat while everything is still...?"
"Hot."


Watching Rei finally respond even though she was acting distant towards them. Seeing her hand drop to her communication band, where Rei's fingertips traced the outline of the symbol. Mamoru's heart began to race as he stood up from where he had been seated. "Rei? What's going on?" He asked in concern, a sternness to his tone. It was apparent that she was completely entuned to whatever she sensed or quite possibly saw.

Seiya couldn't help but laugh under his breath. "Are you jealous you didn't see her, Yaten?" Seiya teased, referring to any sort of vision. Yaten was already mad but deep down, Seiya was relieved to see he was so protective over Usagi, that the events last night only made Yaten feel stronger.

Meanwhile, Haruka watched how Usagi's interaction went as she introduced Rin, and then asked why they were there. Getting the feeling that Usagi was right, Michiru and her were looking over Usagi today made Haruka think of something. "We were picking up something for Hotaru, and stopped by to grab a coffee... we won't bother you anymore though... nice to meet you Rin, see you later, Bunhead." flashing a smile, Haruka nudged Michiru and the two walked a few booths over and placed the table number on the table.
"As much as I'd hate to ask for their help... while we are in here we need backup, I am getting a strange vibe from that girl Usagi is with." Haruka said quietly to Michiru. "I'll go and make that call... I'll be back." Haruka said, walking away from Michiru and Usagi's table, making sure no one was around and she rolled up her sleeve and spoke into her watch device.

"Are you listening to yourself, Taiki? Not contacting them and just showing up, might exactly cause panic! If not irritation, a not-so-friendly reminder will erupt from a certain Sailor Scout that practically threatened Seiya if we didn't inform them of something that involved their Princess. Did you ever think of that?? Listen, I know that Seiya can handle himself and has proven that from time to time."

"Geez, thanks Yaten." Seiya mumbled as Yaten was still talking.

"Sailor Uranus has said on more than one occasion within recent time as a reminder to keep them informed. That's all I am saying. The backlash that we will deal with in not informing them could prove to cause more harm than good at a later date. Keep that in mind Taiki! I want what's best for Usagi, you know this."

Putting a hand on Yaten's shoulder, he tried to calm down his bandmate and spoke. "Yaten, I completely get where you're coming from. I really do. Listening to both your reasons, they are both valid. But Taiki... Yaten is right, we made a promise, I don't want to cause any conflict that would stress Usagi more than she already is."

Speaking of, the timing was perfect, drawing his attention to his watch, the voice was very quiet.

"Sailor Starlights..." as voice transmission to just the three communicators. "Usagi has skipped school again, she made friends with a girl which... which I'm a bit unsure about. Both Michiru and I are in the cafe a few booths down, we just need to keep a close eye on her and Usagi." The familiar voice uttered quietly. "We had to revert back to keep Usagi close by, can you henshin yo here in place of us for a bit?"

There it was, the call from Haruka. Her voice was already hesitant in asking for help, Seiya's expression changed as his whole attitude became serious. "Of course, but we have encountered a small issue though..." waiting for Haruka to ask what it is. ".... What issue?" she asked, sounding irritated.
"A pink-haired girl called Chibiusa walked in, shes--" "Chibiusa?! Since when? Where is she now?" Haruka snapped, but had to keep her voice down.
"She's in Usagi's room... who is she? we all can sense something from her." Seiya asked, Haruka gave out orders to him before explaining why.
"Bring her to the cafe, Chibiusa is also a Senshi. She'll understand if you tell her who you are, please let her know we will be here for her when she comes."
Haruka's voice sounded urgent and alarming. Seiya looked at Yaten and then Taiki. Haruka added "We'll explain everything when you get here, whatever you do don't let her out of your sight." Still remaining eye contact, Seiya gave a nod "We'll see you soon."

Looking towards the staircase, the idol thought "Chibiusa is a Senshi?" Seiya thought, turning around, Seiya walked to the stairs and spoke "I'll go and confront her." feeling a little nervous deep down, he wondered how a child would handle this sort of news.

Approaching the door, knocking on it, and pushing it open. "Chibiodango?" smiling at her, he noticed she looked upset. "Hey... can I talk to you for a moment?" he didn't want to go in telling her all their secrets but wanted to approach it gently.
Walking over and sitting on the bed, he wondered if the other two were going to come in. "That's a pretty locket... it reminds me of Usagi's one. You know, we can be completely open to one another, right? We know you're a Sailor Senshi, Haruka told us." Seiya pulled up his sleeve and revealed his communicator. Smiling, he wanted her to trust him.
"You asked us before who our songs were for... a few years ago our Planet was in a lot of trouble and our Princess needed us to save her but we didn't know where she went. We came to the planet earth and that's when we had to take up our own identities. We thought if we could sing, she might hear us, and she did. We went through a lot of good times, but there have been a lot of bad times too." Seiya went a bit further and spoke about Usagi. "We know Usagi is Sailor Moon, and she means the world to us, we all fought along side her and the Inners and Outer Senshi too. Any friend of Usagi's is our friend too, especially one that is also a Senshi." Thinking to himself "This is a lot for a kid to take in..." Seiya glanced at the door for a moment, then back at Chibiusa. "Did you find the spare key? Come on, I'll take you to Usagi now."

After that phone call, Haruka approached Michiru and sat down, her expression seemed very bothered as she whispered "Chibiusa is back... she's currently at Usagi's place, I asked the Starlights to bring her to the cafe. For now, let's just keep an eye on Usagi until they arrive." not trying to cause a scene, Haruka wanted Usagi not to worry and hopefully she will eat something before being landed in a mess of a situation.
