Event Items - Were You Surprised?

Hello! To those that have claimed the event items for this celebration,
were you surprised about the direction that GaiaOnline took for the
colours and design? I must admit that I wasn't expecting wintery items.

Don't misunderstand! I think this years Valentine event items are very cute.
I especially loved the stringed lights and the windowed background. emotion_kirakira heart

It just wasn't what I pictured in my mind, I suppose!

~I wasn't surprised, but these are also just recolors of last year's v-day prizes, too. In the US, Valentine's falls during Winter, so it's fitting for a "cozy love" theme.
I also love the background items the most!~

I heard that they're just flairs you get. Nothing real special.

I've been a huge fan of the switch to background items in events, like floors and objects. Especially when it's nearly impossible to win in the Runway with a background. Makes them more accessible.
