Plot for Death x Human Girl

My idea is the human girl had either suffered a lot of losses in her life or she herself is sick and dying. In both situations, she begins to question everything and maybe Death kind of follows her around, just waiting for her to drop dead any moment until she sees him and talks to him. He doesn't really give her the answers she's seeking but he comes to know her up to the point where he doesn't want to "reap" her soul anymore. I don't know, this could be developed a bit more. But yeah, I think this could be a platonic relationship.
