BULLY'S BEST FRIEND X BULLIED
He was the bully's best friend and although he knew that what the bully did was wrong, he never dared stand up against them. In this world, it's only survival of the fittest, right? Meanwhile, she was the receiving end of the bully's taunts and teasing. She always tried her best to ignore the bullying which began when all of them were in grade school and lasted throughout sophomore year in high school. The bullying stopped not because the bully and their friend changed but simply because everyone got preoccupied with other things. However, if they had nothing better to do, they would still take out their boredom on her.
Years passed and they finally got out of high school. College was the place where she truly felt like she fit in. But then she found out that the bully's best friend got in to the same university as her. With the bully finally out of the picture, will he try to make her life as miserable as before? Or will he try to be friends with her?
The bully's best friend and the bullied either have the same majors / minors, are in a lot of classes and after school activities together or are dorm mates (or all of the above) where they have to spend a lot of time together. This could be mixed in with the mean girl's brother x nice girl pairing as well.
