Adrian looked at the moss, giving a light nod. Not that it helped the itching any now that he knew what it was called, but at least the man seemed to know what he was doing. It was good they shared a common language, though they seemed on far different levels. At least they could understand each other. It was better then falling in some area with people who spoke another language. That really wouldn't have been good.

It took Adrian a moment to realize that the man, Devlin, had just told him his name and asked for his. "Adrian." Letting his head fall to the side, he closed his eyes though still awake and wishing for sleep. At least he shouldn't feel itchy that way. "How far in am I?" Adrian hadn't been paying attention to his maps, so he could be miles in, days away from civilization.

"Ad-re-an. Adrian." Devlin repeated, trying out the name. Seeming pleased when he got it right. After all, Dev had never really seen any other living humaniod being since he was very young, and them he couldn't really remember.

The next question confused him though. "How far?" He asked in a repeated. Devlin wasn't exactly sure what that meant, but then he thought about it for a few seconds longer. It occurred to him that Adrian was talking about how far he was from his iwn home. And Dev didn't know that, he just shrugged.

Adrian nodded as the man, Devlin, sounded out his name, getting it right. At least he could do that much. He didn't really want to spend how ever long he'd be stuck there with someone who couldn't even say his name. He had a feeling though that he wouldn't be having very intellectual conversations with the man. He seemed older, though not by much. Obviously taller, again it didn't seem by much. Aside from an education, they seemed fairly equal.

Hearing the questioning tone, he was about to explain when he seen the shrug and managed to guess that Devlin had no idea how far away civilization was. "Vundabar..." This was just great, who knew how long it would take him to get back home now?

"Vun-ba-bar?" Devlin asked. What id that mean? It didn't sound a praise, or anything close to a complement. "You go to sun? No?" He said, another questioning. This meant which way was back towards his home. If Devlin knew the direction, he could lead Adrian back there.

"Vun-da-bar... it's German for wonderful. A bit of sarcasm you know?" Adrian had a feeling he may as well be talking to a wall. Although, maybe he could teach Devlin something? It was worth a shot at least. He had a feeling he wouldn't be going very far for a while.

"I'm not sure. I would have to look at my maps and get a general idea of where I am." With that sort of idea, Adrian would be able to rationalize the fastest way out. Most likely it wouldn't be the way he'd gotten into the forest. As far as he could guess, South may possibly be his best bet.

Devlin nodded, but was still a little confused. So many new words to learn! But for now, Adrian look like his needed some sleep. "Be back." He told the man and left for a bit with the bowl of now dirty water. The itch made it hard to sleep, Dev knew, but thankfully he also new a way to get around that and sleep.

He came back with a purple-ish, round fruit. He peeled back the skin, showing the lighter purple colored middle of the plant. The juices were squeezed into the bowl, that had been washed out and fresh water put in. Then held it out to Adrian. "Drink, sleep,"

Adrian sighed slightly, glancing around. He wanted to sleep. More then anything did he want to sleep. But he wanted to get to his maps before it got dark, find his location and plot a way out. He wanted to get home and beat the crap out of the man who'd forced him to fly.

When Devlin returned to the tree with some odd looking purpleish fruit he'd never seen before, he was a bit hesitate to take it when he had no idea of the mans intentions. He seemed nice and helpful enough, but still... "I really should get back to the plane and find my maps..." Adrian looked exhausted, and pretty much a mess, but he didn't want to sleep, slightly afraid to.

"I find. You sleep." Devlin said, holding out the bowk to him. But there was a problem, Dev had no idea what a map looked like. But that would be an easy thing to remedy, all he had do to was ask after all.

"What look like?" He added, a bit sheepishly.

Adrian could have laughed when he was told to sleep. All he had to do was drink the purple stuff and sleep? Simple, easy, and he would have loved to. Somehow he doubted that Devlin would findhis maps for him. As he'd expected, the man asked him what they looked like. Sighing slightly, Adrian forced himself to sit up. Despite the instant pounding headache and dizziness, he was on his feet. "Don't worry about it, I'll find them myself.."

"Stand not good. You hurt, bad." Devlin protested, standing as well. Adrian wouldn't make it bery far on that leg, and probably end up opening the wound again, even with the blood moss still in place.

Adrian shook his head, he couldn't expect Devlin to find something he'd never seen and he didn't know how to explain a map to a man who'd most likely never seen one. Pieces of paper with writing on them? Colorful paper? He wasn't even sure if Devlin knew what paper or writing was, let alone a plane. But then he would assume that Devlin could at least figure out that the metal thing crashing through the trees was what he'd been talking about. "I know, but-" One step and his injured leg gave out on him. Between his head and leg, he wasn't going anywhere it seemed.

Devlin, with his quick relexes, caught Adrian. Which probably hurt considering the many cuts on him. "You no go. Stay, rest, tell what look like." Dev almost pleaded. He didn't want the guy to be in any more pain than he already was in, Dev and pain were constant compainions here in this place.

Adrian closed his eyes, a soft whimper escaping his lips. It hurt the way Devlin had grabbed him, but at least it was better then hitting the ground. That would have hurt a lot more. With the man holding him and pleading, he decided to give in. Adrian knew now that he couldn't walk, his leg didn't want to work. Even if it did, he doubted he could with how dizzy he was. "Alright, alright... The maps look like folded paper with writing on them. They are somewhat colorful and there should be a few that look the same." Of course he had the built in sonar and radio in the plane, but with how hard and fast he had fallen, Adrian doubted that anything worked. No, in a time like now, he was pleased with himself for bringing the maps along.

Devlin had no idea what paper and writing were, but he nodded. Confident that the other descriptions he had been given. Once again Dev laid him down on the soft moss and held out the drink to him. "Drink, sleep." He said again. It didn't taste all that pleasant, but the after-affects of numbness and a deep sleep were great.

Adrian decided to stop being stubborn and let Devlin help him. Although still weary about the purple stuff, he took the bowel and drank what he could without breathing. The stuff tasted horrible, but the effects of a full body numbness was great. There was no itching or pain of any kind. The drink or whatever it was didn't seem to take long to finish it's job, putting Adrian into a deep sleep fairly easily.
