Hello, friends!

Let's talk about Monthly Collectibles/Donation Items! Available every month from June 2003 to March 2017, these collectibles were originally promised to never be re-released. This changed under previous management, when many of these items were made available again through various means.

The items that have already been re-released continue to be eligible for re-release. However, not all of them were re-released during that time - leaving many of them still unavailable.

Many members of the community have expressed the interest in these items becoming available once again. But this is a decision that would affect a large amount of people, so our goal is to see if we can reach a decision that works for the majority!

Please feel free to vote in the poll, and if you'd like, you can share your feelings in this thread! Here are some questions to consider:

gaia_spoons Do you think all Monthly Collectibles should be considered available for re-release? Or maybe just the ones that have already been re-released?
gaia_spoons Do you think no Monthly Collectibles should be re-released, regardless of whether or not they have already been re-released?
gaia_spoons Do you have any thoughts on re-releasing the items vs. the envelopes they came in?

I would be game to see them rereleased, let a newer crowd enjoy some of the items from yesteryear or help oldbies obtain an item that was never obtainable because of scarcity. 3nodding

i'd love to see a lot of of the old ones re-released! i sold my pengu slippys years ago and itd be gret if i could buy another pair 3nodding having more copies circulating would be a good thing imo, but also im not someone who holds onto items for their plat/gold worth.

i assume the older ones will cost more than current angel items bc of their rarity but i don't mind that so much. im not expecting a halo for five bucks, i just want to be able to collect some of the older collectables i wasn't able to get when i was 13.

I honestly believe the old OG items aren't as... unique anymore, anyway, since we've had a TONNE of recolours of them since. The days of awe factor of seeing someone with Angelic halo or whatever has long since passed, there's so many now to choose from.

I have my old Angelic halo and some others still. Still need DJ's razz One day if they rerelease maybe I'll get em.

I don't mind if they rerelease personally because I enjoy them for the nostalgia, not interested in the major vending side of it. I can imagine a lot of hardcore vendors being upset about the idea of them rereleased, though.

People who don't want them released mostly are using them for playing the market and hoarding them. If they get rereleased, the worth goes down a bit, and you get some upset folk. People who keep the items to enjoy them don't care about that.

I think it's a good idea to re-release items just to reduce scarcity which drives up MP prices to an extreme.

the old og merch stuff would be great to come back. they go for crazy prices on ebay now and then. mine got lost in the mail and im still sad lol
